A long run on the treadmill in the gym and a refreshing shower after lunch with his mom and Lanah still doesn’t help the cooped-up feeling that has been engulfing me after three weeks without leaving the house.

I know it’s not safe with Bastian Gallini and his men on the hunt for me, and it’s not as though the penthouse suite at the DeLuca Resort and Casino isn’t the most upscale place besides Massimo’s that I’ve ever stayed, but still, staying in one place and not feeling the breeze on your skin or the sun is starting to feel a lot like the six months I spent being protected by Massimo and my sister.

Safe but a little imprisoned and I long to be outside just for a little while.

Vincenzo said no secrets; we’re in this together so I decide to find him and tell him exactly how I feel.

Maybe I can plead my case, and we can go for a drive in one of his fancy cars.

I may not have seen his collection yet, but I have seen all the tabloids and the pictures of him with his yacht, and car collection that could rival the most rich and famous of them all and I do recall a sporty little red Maserati that I would just love to drive around in or better yet a ride on his famous yacht.

I find Vincenzo in his office, and he glances up as I reach the door. “Have a nice run?” he asks, taking in my robe and freshly towel dried hair.

I close the door behind me and meet his dark eyes, watching him as I walk toward him. He smirks as I come behind the desk and settle into his lap. “To what do I owe this little treat?”

I grasp his cheeks with my hands and kiss his lips gently. “Confession. I came here to seduce you into giving me my way.”

His eyes light with amused interest. “Oh yeah? What is it that you want, princessa? You know you need only ask. Although I’ll take whatever seduction scene you want to throw in.”

I laugh at my handsome husband. “I was hoping we could go outside for a little while. I know Bastian is out there, but I’m starting to feel so closed in.

That’s why I left Massimo and Sophia’s and came to the club that night.

It’s like the walls are starting to close in around me.

I just need to feel the open space, the breeze or even the sun on my skin, Vincenzo. ”

His jaw has tightened but he doesn’t tell me no, instead he draws me close and cradles me to him, silent for a few moments before he responds. “Go get dressed and dry your hair. That will give me time to get security in place. And bring a light sweater or jacket, it will be breezy.”

Elation floods my soul. I wrap my hands around his neck and kiss his lips soundly. “I love you.”

He draws the top folds of my robe apart.

“I love you too, but I have ulterior motives so wear a skirt with no panties.” Even now my husband can make me flush as my pussy heats with excitement.

I leave his office elated. We are going somewhere. No need to sneak out, he didn’t even argue with me. Vincenzo must realize that I need this with every fiber of my being.

I hurry to get ready, drying and styling my hair in long waves and putting on a rose-colored lipstick before slipping into a blousy skirt and tank set with a simple sweater and a pair of crème slides that match the background of the skirt before going in search of my husband who is having a drink in the living room.

He sets the crystal scotch glass down on the bar when he sees me. “You look beautiful,” he tells me. He snakes a hand around my nape, drawing me close to kiss me, only breaking it when the doorbell chimes.

“That will be Nicolo.” He tilts my chin with the tip of his finger. “I will take you out, but we will be heavily protected, capisce?”

My eyes meet his. “Yes.”

“And there will be rules, to keep you safe.”

“Okay,” I breathe softly.

He smirks. “And you will obey them, understand?”

I give him a seductive little pout. “If I must…”
