Chapter Eleven #2

“Don’t. Take her back to your place or the safe house with whatever men you have with you and come to the house. We were just attacked, and I need your services.”

“See you soon,” Tano answered and disconnected the call.

“We’ll have to table this discussion until later. Where would you like to go, the safe house or back to the Hamptons?”

“The Hamptons. At least I have the pool and the gym so I can work out if I get too antsy.”

Tano called Vincent. “Change of plans. I have to continue on, but Gabriella is going back. You have one job, keep her safe at all costs. Take the next exit. There is an oak grove where she can change cars and be hidden from satellites by the canopy of leaves in case anyone is tracking us.”

Tano took the exit and, grabbing a baseball cap from the back seat, pulled it down low, shading his face. Then he exited the car and opened the trunk. I was about to ask what the heck he was doing when he came back with a scarf and sunglasses for me.

“Just a precaution, piccolina.” He wrapped the scarf around my hair, creating a hooded effect, which, together with the sunglasses, hid my face. When he was satisfied, he helped me out of the car. Vincent had already grabbed my luggage and was placing it in his car.

He and Tano exchanged words while I got into the back seat and buckled in. When they were done, Tano jogged over and opened the door. Leaning in, his soft firm lips kissed me deeply.

“Be good. I’ll come back for you as soon as I can.” Before I could say goodbye, he was gone. I sat back, chewing on the same lip he’d just taken so passionately and wondered how I’d managed to fall under his spell so quickly.

Vincent got in the driver’s seat, sparing me a glance before starting the car and making a U-turn at the exit we’d taken, headed back to the Hamptons. It was a win-win for me. With the family inspection canceled, I was free to think and get myself back under control.

Wine, toys and books sounded pretty damn good to me and for the first time I looked forward to returning to the simple spoiled life of the princess in the tower, served and fawned over.

And no place was better for it than Tano’s weekend palace.

It was easy to relax there and let your mind go.

The safe house had been small, innocuous in appearance, where I’d spent all my time in the cramped bedroom.

Relaxing into the plush leather, I worked on concerning myself with nothing other than what I wanted to eat. Let the others worry. This woman needed a break from all the recent news, but especially the charms of one Gaetano Vitale.

Exiting the pool a few hours later, I lay out in the last rays of the sunshine before sunset came and the air cooled. Turning on my phone, I saw I’d missed several text messages from Tano.

How is my girl doing?

A minute later: Gabriella?

Less than a minute later: Gabriella, answer me immediately.

I should have been scrambling to obey, but I couldn’t help reading the rest of his messages first.

Gabriella. You have one job to do. Answer the phone I gave you when I message or call.

In spite of myself, imagining him giving me that cold doctor look of his while he scolded me made me chuckle. Grabbing my wine glass, I downed the remainder of the contents. I really should feel bad about not answering right away, but amping him up from this safe distance was entertaining.

You are a very bad girl, piccina, and you will pay for your insolence when I see you next.

Even through a written message, his words had power. As I read, I heard the dark growl of his voice vibrating through me, sending a zing of electricity straight to my clit.

His last message, Should I give you a list of how I’m going to punish you? was from over an hour ago.

Shit! Now I felt bad for not answering.

I pressed the phone icon and waited while it rang, but there was no answer. Crap! I hustled into the house to find Vincent. “I can’t get a hold of Tano. Can you message him and ask him to call me?”

“He just rang and said he will be here in two hours,” Vincent told me, adding without expression, “When he arrives, he would like you in his office, waiting for him in your outfit.”

Embarrassment flooded my face with heat as I fumbled for a reply that would restore my dignity, and failed to find one

Vincent observed my reaction impassively. “I see you understand his message. May I suggest you go and prepare yourself? He sounded angry.”

I was in so much trouble! Unwilling to reveal any more of my discomfort, I thanked him for the message and asked that my dinner be brought to my room. My mind was going in a billion directions at once. This wasn’t the relaxed mini-vacay I’d imagined while being driven back here several hours ago.

Not only had I spent the day lounging in the sun, but I’d drunk wine all afternoon and I was definitely tipsy.

Would that be a bad thing? Did he tolerate drunken fiancés?

My dinner was delivered, but my nerves kept me from eating.

Instead, I headed to the bathroom to take a long bubble bath and shave all my bits baby-smooth.

Afterwards, I showered and washed my hair, arranging it in two long ponytails.

We’d discussed what was expected in our playtime and that was to be clean, shaven, and dressed appropriately for the scene.

Maybe when he saw how obediently I followed this directive, he would forgive my ignoring him all afternoon. Unlikely, but maybe.

We hadn’t repacked the outfits I’d brought and instead added them to his closet. They hung on the rack with a few other items of mine, the innocuous garments standing out, almost a mockery of how much shit I was sure I was in.

I put on the outfit and went back to the bathroom to apply light pink lipstick and mascara. My entire outfit was a sexier version of a school uniform. My tits looked amazing in the shirt and push-up bra I wore.

The plaid mini, knee-highs, and Mary Jane heels completed the outfit.

I had naturally youthful features, and could easily pass for fifteen in the school outfit.

I hoped he liked it. We had planned to do this role play on the weekend, but we never really left the bedroom.

Now was our chance, although I wasn’t as enthusiastic about it as before, for obvious reasons.

Glancing at my food, now cold, I left it on the tray. Grabbing the bottle of water instead, I snuck down the stairs and into Tano’s office, breathing a sigh of relief that my guards hadn’t seen me in the schoolgirl get-up.

Chugging back half the contents, I placed the bottle on the coffee table and moseyed to the only corner not filled with stuff.

I tucked my skirt into the waistband so my school-issued tighty-whities were on display and assumed the position I knew he wanted.

With my head bent and my hands behind my back, I waited for him to arrive.
