Epilogue

THREE YEARS LATER

Dear Lucy,

Yes, I know you think writing letters when I could just text you is dramatic, and no, I don’t care. It’s romantic and whimsical, and you will not take this from me.

I hope everything with the store and bakery has been going well since we’ve been gone.

I know it’s only been a week, but it feels like a lifetime.

Oliver says I need to stop worrying because you’ve worked at Moonlit Pages forever, and Noah is more than capable of taking care of the bakery. I can’t help it, though.

Ireland is AMAZING! I know, I know, I was so hesitant to agree to an international trip, but I’m so grateful Oliver talked me into it. Pub hopping around Dublin was truly like living in a book, and Giant’s Causeway . . . I have no words. No. Words!

Which reminds me, the biggest news of the trip so far . . .

HE PROPOSED!! Right at the ledge of one of the highest points of Giant’s Causeway. It was raining, cold, dreary, and absolutely perfect! I’m not going to show you a single picture until you get this letter so you can be surprised, but honestly, it’s a scene straight out of a Highlander romance.

Anyway, give Noah our best. Remind him to call Oliver if he needs anything.

Love you,

Amelia soon-to-be Nova-Blackwood

P.S. Oliver told me you helped him pick out the ring. I can’t believe you didn’t warn me, or at least talk me into bringing cuter dresses! You’re so dead when we get back!
