Chapter 13

William

It was morning, and I lazily ran my fingertip over Nairie’s back tattoo as she slept. I loved the delicate, fine line work and the way it wrapped around her spine like a vine. It must have hurt like hell since it was directly on her bone, but I was quickly learning how fierce she could be.

Last night, she looked so elegant in her flowy dress, and the soft curls in her hair made her look like a porcelain doll. But seeing her enraged, speaking words I’d never heard out of her mouth, did something to me.

I always knew she had a fire within her, but suddenly, in that moment, it was burning brighter than ever, and I couldn’t help but stoke it.

I was seeing it more and more now. That assuredness she wore with such ease when she was truly herself. I saw it at the bake sale when she was taking care of customers under pressure. Hearing her speak her native tongue was also a huge turn-on.

When I went back to the house after Elle insisted she had the event under control, I was shocked to see Nairie in a fit of rage that, quite frankly, made me rock hard.

Everything I told her last night was true. I really did want to avoid getting involved, but I was weak because as soon as I saw how readily she got on her knees for me, I was done for. I desperately wanted to see my cock in her mouth, to see those doe-like eyes staring up at me.

I loved seeing her enjoy it as much as me, taking advantage of my body. Taking what was hers. Nairie was never meek in my eyes. She had a strength to her, and now I got to witness it in the way she sucked my dick.

I knew what taking her virginity would mean, but I didn’t care.

I wanted to be her first so no one else ruined her expectations.

At the very least, I wanted to make sure she was with a man who knew what the fuck he was doing.

Nairie deserved to be taken care of, to be selfishly pleasured within an inch of her life.

Didn’t we both deserve that? We so often sacrificed ourselves for others, and I was over it.

Everything was different now, and I couldn’t go back to the way it was even if I tried. Decidedly, I would be with her tonight and for however many more nights I was here before she undoubtedly figured out that I was no good.

Nairie turned to face me, exposing her naked breast as it slipped out from the cover of the blanket.

She looked like Sleeping Beauty or Snow White, but instead of a kiss, I had a better idea of how to wake her.

I took the rosy peak of her nipple in my mouth and sucked, lightly nipping as her beautiful brown eyes fluttered open.

Nairie moaned and grabbed the sides of my head to bring me up into a long and languid kiss.

I broke our kiss and stroked her cheek with my thumb. “Morning.”

Nairie smiled, a natural pinkish hue tinting her cheeks. “Morning.”

She wrapped her arms around my neck and snuggled closer until every inch of our bodies touched. My cock hardened at the contact. It appeared the three other times we had sex last night didn’t satisfy my desires. I was quickly understanding that I couldn’t get enough of Nairie.

She sighed contently. “I can’t believe last night happened. I’ve been dreaming about being with you since we met.”

I laughed. “You were seven.”

“Okay, my dreams with you when I was seven were slightly different from what happened last night, but still.”

“I’m curious what those dreams looked like.”

“Well, back then, I just imagined us hugging or holding hands or walking down the aisle.” Nairie’s eyes widened in fear. “I mean, not that I still think about marriage.”

I watched her fumble over her words and silently laughed.

“I promise I’m not an obsessed girl who’s going to get attached just because you’re my first.”

I laughed harder, and Nairie slapped my chest.

None of that scared me in the least, and that alone worried me more than anything. “I know what you mean, love. No need to freak out.”

“We’re just two friends having fun together, right?”

“Exactly.”

“Thank you, by the way, for bringing those art prints to the bake sale. I can’t believe they actually sold.”

I squeezed her and stroked my thumb along her upper back. “I knew they would.”

“How come you have so much confidence in me?”

“Your art makes people feel things. You do it with love. It’s worth the risk of putting it out into the world.”

“You sound like my aunt, Lilit.”

“Have I met this one?” I kissed her neck as she snuggled closer.

“No, she’s always traveling. I barely see her myself, but she’s in town. I’ve always looked up to her. She was the outcast of the family and did whatever she wanted without a care in the world. She’s actually commissioning a piece from me.”

I hummed in approval and could feel her squirm at my touch. Nairie giggled, and it made my own smile grow wider. I hadn’t smiled like this in years, and the feeling of my skin stretching into a grin was foreign.

“When are you going to tell me what happened between you and Angus?”

“Preferably not when I’m about to have sex.”

Nairie laughed. “Again?!”

“I could have you every minute of every day, and it would still never be enough.”

Nairie blushed and kissed me in return, stroking my biceps as I balanced on either side of her. Her touch had awakened something in me, and now that I had it, I didn’t know if I could ever live without it.

“I’m serious. I want to know. Maybe I can help.”

I looked down at her sweet face, so innocent and full of hope. I moved down her body and nipped her collarbone, sucking different parts of her skin across her breasts and midriff.

“How about I take you on a date tonight, and we can talk about anything you want.”

Nairie tucked my hair behind my ears and looked at me as if I’d just proposed. “Really?”

“Is that a yes?”

“Of course, I’d love to.”

“Good. Can’t promise it’ll be on Sunset but . . .”

Before I could continue my trail of kisses down her body, Nairie shot up in a panic and nearly knocked me off the bed. “Oh my god. Last night!”

Nairie started going through her drawers to find pieces of clothing to cover herself. I admired the view until I snapped myself out of it.

“What’s wrong?”

“I was supposed to go home to my parents after my date with David. They must think I got kidnapped or something. Where’s my phone?!”

Nairie started frantically searching for her phone, which was behind the bookshelf after she had thrown things in a fit of rage last night.

She picked it up and looked at the screen. “Oh god.”

“Bad?”

Nairie put the phone down and started putting clothes on in a daze. “Twenty missed calls, sixty texts. I’m screwed.”

I got up from the bed and put my boxer briefs back on to calm her down. “Alright, love, it’ll be alright. Just tell them Elspeth needed you at the pub, and you were too tired to go back home.”

“That’s not the only reason why I’m worried.”

She tied her hair in a messy top knot and searched frantically for her shoes. “I kind of made a scene on my date with David.”

I pulled up my slacks and waited for her to continue.

“I sort of threw my drink in his face and said some unfavorable things.”

I held in a laugh through tightened lips.

“William, this is serious. His whole family and my family have probably heard about it by now. My parents are going to be pissed. I have to do damage control.”

“Do you regret it?”

Nairie stopped tying her laces and looked back up at me. “No.”

“I’m proud of you.”

She stood up, and I bent down to kiss her and grabbed her lower back, pulling her against my chest. Whatever the prick had said to her on that date, it was a turn-on to know Nairie handled it and stood up to him.

The more I saw this side of her, the deeper my affections grew, and I didn’t know what to do with it except kiss her senseless.

She gripped my shoulders, stabilizing herself on her toes to reach up to me for our kiss.

It was hot, wet, and carnal. But before I could drag her back to bed, someone cleared their throat.

We pulled apart and looked at the doorway to find Elspeth leaning casually against the doorframe with a smug look on her face. “So, this finally happened?”

Nairie looked away, smiling, but quickly gathered her things. “I’ll explain later, but I really have to go.”

“What?!” Elspeth said, outraged.

“I’m sorry, my parents are going to kill me. I’ll text you.”

Nairie hugged her at the doorway and looked back at me.

I beckoned her back with my index finger, and she dutifully complied. “Everything will be okay. They’ll understand why you did what you did. And I’m sure you’ll come up with a convincing lie on why you didn’t come back home on the drive there.”

She was timid about being intimate in front of Elspeth, but she looked into my eyes and nodded. I gave her a small but passionate peck, then spanked her ass as she hurriedly left.

Elspeth looked at me in disgust.

“Come on, this is what you wanted.” I goaded her.

I picked up the rest of my clothes and went to my room as she followed me.

I grabbed a towel hanging over my door and looked back at her. “It just sort of happened out of nowhere.”

Elspeth snorted. “Please, you think this happened naturally? You think Nairie ended up in your bed that night when she was drunk on her own? And I know all about that dreamy kiss.”

I stopped on my way to the bathroom and turned to face her. She had a devious look on her face as she slowly disappeared down the stairs.

It would have been frightening if I didn’t hear her fall down the last couple of steps.

“You alright?” I laughed.

“Yup! And you’re welcome!”
