Epilogue Six Years Later #2
After dinner, everyone moved outside to the backyard. The fire pit was going, music was playing through the outdoor speakers, and drinks were flowing. Italy and Maddox were running around with Kiana in Aurora’s arms, everyone laughing and talking.
I stood near the fire, a glass of Hennessy in my hand, watching Indie.
She was talking to Destiny and Tierra, her head thrown back in laughter. She looked so fuckin’ beautiful. So happy. And I’d done that. I’d given her this life. This family. This happiness.
Kenzo walked over, holding his own drink. “You good, bro?” he asked.
“Yeah,” I said. “I’m good.”
He nodded, following my gaze to Indie.
“You still look at her the same way you did six years ago,” he said.
I smirked. “That ain’t never gon’ change.”
“I know,” Kenzo laughed. “I see that look in yo’ eyes, ole freaky ass nigga.”
I chuckled. “You already know what time it is.”
“See ya’ll in three minutes,” he joked.
“Yeah, whatever, nigga.”
I downed the rest of my drink and set the glass down. Then I walked over to Indie, sliding my arm around her waist.
“Excuse me, ladies,” I said. “I need to borrow my wife for a minute.”
Indie looked up at me, her eyes sparkling.
“Stone—”
“Come on, baby,” I said, my voice low.
She bit her lip, and I saw the heat flash in her eyes. She knew exactly what I wanted.
“We’ll be right back,” she said to Destiny and Tierra.
I led her away from the group, toward the side of the house. There was a small room near the pool house. It used to be a storage room, but we’d converted it into a lounge area. I opened the door and pulled her inside, locking it behind us.
Indie
The second the door closed, Stone’s mouth was on mine. He kissed me hard, his hands gripping my waist, pulling me against him. I moaned into his mouth, my hands sliding up his chest.
“Stone,” I breathed. “We can’t—everyone’s outside—”
“I don’t give a fuck,” he growled, his hands sliding down to my ass. “I need you right now, baby.”
He lifted me up, and I wrapped my legs around his waist. He carried me over to the couch and sat down, positioning me on his lap. His hands were everywhere—my thighs, my hips, my ass.
“You looked so fuckin’ good tonight,” he said, his voice rough. “Sitting at that table, being the perfect wife, the perfect mother. You drive me fuckin’ crazy, Indigo.”
I ground down on him, feeling how hard he was through his pants.
“You drive me crazy, too, daddy,” I whispered.
His eyes darkened, that same crazed, obsessed look I’d seen six years ago. It was still there. Stronger now than it had ever been.
“Say that shit again,” he demanded.
“Daddy,” I moaned.
He groaned, his hands gripping my hips tighter.
“You know what that do to me, baby.”
He reached down and unzipped his pants, freeing himself. Then he pushed my dress up, sliding my thong to the side.
“You ready for daddy dick?” he asked, his voice low and dangerous.
“Yes,” I gasped. “Please.”
He pulled me down onto him in one hard thrust.
“Fuck,” he groaned. “This pussy so tight, baby.”
He started moving, his hips thrusting up to meet mine. I rode him hard, my head falling back, my moans filling the room.
“That’s it,” he growled. “Ride that dick, baby. Show me how much you love it.”
“I love it,” I moaned. “I love it so much.”
His hands gripped my ass, guiding my movements, making me take him deeper.
“You mine, Indigo,” he said, his voice rough. “You always gon’ be mine.”
“I’m yours,” I gasped. “Always yours, daddy.”
He stood up, still inside me, and laid me down on the couch. Then he started fucking me harder, deeper, his eyes locked on mine.
“You so fuckin’ perfect,” he groaned. “My perfect wife. My perfect baby mama. Mine.”
“Yours,” I moaned. “All yours.”
He reached down and rubbed my clit, and I shattered. I came hard, screaming his name, my body trembling. Stone followed right after, groaning as he released inside me.
“I love you,” he said, his voice soft.
“I love you, too,” I said, running my fingers through his hair.
We stayed like that for a few minutes, just holding each other. Then we cleaned up and straightened our clothes.
When we walked back outside, Kenzo took one look at us and started laughing. Then he glanced at his watch and looked back at Stone, his expression amused, like they had an inside joke I didn’t know about.
“Y’all got that out ya’ll system?” he asked.
Aurora gasped. “Oh my God, y’all just—”
Ishmael groaned, covering his face with his hands. “Ya’ll just can’t help yourselves, can you?”
Everyone started laughing, and I did too. I didn’t even care anymore, they already knew what it was. Stone just smirked, pulling me into his side.
“Mind your business, Ish,” he said.
Ishmael shook his head, still groaning.
“I got PTSD from how many times I done walked in on ya’ll two. This nigga don’t give my sister a break!”
Destiny patted his arm, trying not to laugh.
“So, ya’ll just gon’ do this shit every time we come over, huh?” Deacon joked.
We stayed outside for a few more hours, talking, laughing, enjoying each other’s company. And when everyone finally left, and the kids were asleep in their rooms, Stone and I went to bed.
Stone
I laid in bed, Indie curled up against my chest. Her breathing was slow and steady, and I thought she was asleep, but then she spoke.
“Happy aniversary, baby,” she said softly.
I looked down at her. “Happy anniversary. Did you enjoy yourself tonight?”
She nodded, her fingers drifting across my chest.
“I never thought I’d have this,” she said. “A husband who loves me. Beautiful kids. A career I’m proud of. A family.” She paused. “You gave me everything, Stone.”
I tilted her chin up so I could look into her eyes.
“Nah, baby. You gave me everything. You made me a better man. You gave me a reason to leave that life behind. You gave me a family. A purpose.” I kissed her forehead. “I was empty before you, Indigo. And now I’m whole.”
She smiled, tears shining in her eyes. “We really did it, didn’t we? We made it.”
“Yeah, baby,” I said. “We made it.”
She kissed me, soft and sweet. Then I held her in my arms, thinking about everything that had led us to this very moment.
The warehouse on the night we met. The weeks we spent in the crash pad before I moved her to my estate. The frustration, the anger, the obsession. The love that grew from it. The family we built. The life we created.
It wasn’t perfect, but it was ours, and I wouldn’t change a damn thing about the way we came together.
“I love you, Indigo,” I said.
“I love you, too, Maximus,” she said.
As we laid there in each other’s arms, I knew one thing for certain. Indigo Rain Wright was my everything. My wife, my soulmate, the mother of my children. Everything. And I planned to spend the rest of my life showing her exactly how she made a nigga feel.
Addicted.
