After He Checked Out

At the rehab where I work, Porter Hayes should have been just another addict. He isn’t. I have lived by one rule—stay away from bad boys—and the instant connection between us makes that rule impossible to keep. He is off-limits anyway: he needs to get clean, and I have demons of my own.

Finishing the program and checking out should have ended it. Instead, our chemistry ignites. I know the risks and fall for him hard, and he does nothing to make resisting easier.
