She gives a false name. So does he.

Behind closed doors, Miss Smith and Mr Jones meet over a private matter neither can afford to have known. She is young, sharp, and determined. He is proud, guarded, and unexpectedly honourable.

It should be a simple transaction. Unfortunately, they are both far too interesting. Some disguises hide a name. Others reveal a character.
