Chapter 1 #2
The throat undulated again. Then it let go, releasing me into empty space, and suddenly I was falling; no, I was floating until I was set down gently on a hard surface.
I didn't stop screaming.
Something grabbed my arm, and I felt a hard pinch.
I turned my head toward the sensation, only to find a freaking alien holding something in its talons and pressing it against my arm.
The creature was either scaled or leathery, without a trace of hair anywhere.
With two eyes and a bipedal, masculine-looking body, it looked like a giant walking lizard wearing a form-fitting beige leotard.
A reptalien.
I swung hard with my free arm and bitch slapped that fucker.
He let go, stepping back to hold his elongated face.
I was still screaming, of course, but now I wasn't the only one making noise.
The lizard alien was squealing, a high-pitched and grating sound that hurt my ears, and suddenly, there were more of them in the room, all yelling or hissing. There was a lot of freaking noise I didn't understand.
I spotted Arnina on the other table.
She was passed out, motionless, and just lying there like a good little abductee.
I threw myself off my table away from the group of freaky reptaliens, rolling off the other side and onto the floor. One of them moved in between me and the door, holding his arms wide as he hissed at me.
I let out one more wild shriek before I took a deep breath and looked around at the room, trying to understand where I was. Well, not understand. Clearly, I had been abducted by aliens and was on their spaceship.
A round surface halfway up the wall was closed tight like a sphincter.
The pale, reddish, purplish floor squished under my one shoeless foot, bumpy like wart-covered leather, matching the center of the walls and the open doorway, which suddenly closed in from all sides to reveal that it, too, was an unfortunate-looking fleshy sphincter.
Except for the tables
The rows of tables pressed close against the walls were metal and completely different from the entire structure of the room.
There were other pieces of equipment around the room that looked organic like they were formed from biological engineering rather than smelting and welding.
However, I couldn't be sure about how they made the furniture.
After all, this was my first alien abduction.
The equipment might have been for medical use, though I couldn't be sure because some of it had that metallic, space-age look, and the rest looked like a horror creation found in a torture dungeon of a species that used genetic engineering to make even the most basic of tools.
There were screens and lights, and they were juxtaposed by dripping tubes and pulsing blobs that could be buttons for all I knew.
None of it looked familiar to me. I had no way of really knowing what any of it was for, but I could definitely guess that it was all up to no good.
I put my palms up, my only possible exit now gone, and took a big breath to calm down.
"Listen, freaky deakies, I think that you need to take me to your leader," I said.
Arms wrapped around me from the back.
I shrieked again, my legs kicking out to catch one of the shins of the lizard dude who picked me up. Unfortunately, I had used my barefoot rather than the one protected by a solid pair of extremely expensive walking boots. Pain laced through my foot as I heard a small pop.
Another reptalien stepped forward, grabbing my ankles, while a third one grabbed my wrists. The first one holding me around the waist unceremoniously let go of me, and I dangled between the two aliens like a pig roast going to the spit.
"Let me go!" I wailed, flailing with all the effectiveness of a toddler.
The two aliens carried me towards the cinched wall, and it quickly stretched back open into a doorway with a sickening wet smack.
They carried me through it and down a ramp.
I continued to struggle despite a growing pain in my foot.
All I could see were legs and faces and ceilings - and look at that, they had tails, too.
A scaled tail swung in front of me as the lizard holding my ankles dropped them and turned to do something.
Then, I was upright and being pushed back against a hard, upright container of some sort. As they shoved me inside, the edges of it rose around me.
Across from me stood another one of the containers.
It was metallic and smooth, standing out from the fleshy walls with that strange juxtaposition of metallic technology against biological structure.
Thick, pulsing veins reached from the walls into a large box.
Metallic tubes ran from the box and into the back of the pod.
It had silver walls and was a long oval-like shape, but the door was translucent glass.
With a start, I realized they had just put me inside the exact same thing.
They shut the translucent door in front of me, trapping me inside.
"What is wrong with you guys?" I screamed as I leaned forward to push against the glass. "You little chicken shit bitch ass pieces of-"
I coughed, struggling to breathe as the air grew opaque around me.
"Fuckers," I wheezed before I passed out.
