Epilogue Assistant 23

Epilogue: Ze’farr
“So... we really are the last four humans on Eukaria, huh?” I said.
The humans in question—Levi, Jaeyoung, Paz, and I—were helping to clean up the table. It was Kii’ran’s birthday feast, and their celebration had been wonderful.
“Not counting the half-human kiddos?” Paz said, glancing over his shoulder at the three of them. Kii’ran, Chey’ish, and Dai’zee were playing kick-the-tumbleweed with some villagers while their Maeleon parents watched. Their expressions beamed with pride.
“Yup. A whopping grand total of four,” Paz finished.
I handed a plate to Jaeyoung, then paused. “Do you guys think I made the right choice?”
Jaeyoung neatly stacked the plate on top of the rest. “When you erased Eukaria from the ship’s positioning systems?” He shrugged. “That’s not a simple question to answer. There are so many factors involved—”
“And it almost got us all killed, remember?” Levi interjected. He waved a potato-like tuber in his hand. “If we’d seen Eukaria was on the map, I could’ve landed the ship properly instead of crashing.”
“Sure, Captain,” Paz said playfully.
Levi rolled his eyes. “Not that it matters since we’re all very happy here. Besides, I botched our relationship with the Major, and he’s written us off for dead. He’d never waste resources trying to rescue us.”
Paz nudged me. “And it’s not like anyone could undo your hacking, right, Ze’farr?”
I hesitated. “Well…”
Paz and Jaeyoung’s eyes widened as they glanced intently at my face. Before, I might’ve withered from anxiety under their combined attention, but now I was able to hold my ground.
“I wiped Eukaria off the map systems, yes,” I began. “But I’m not the only hacker in the world, or even the most competent one. If an individual really wanted to find Eukaria, they might be able to do it.”
“Sure,” Jaeyoung agreed. “But knowing the planet exists and actually getting here are two different things. Our ship was only in Eukaria’s range because of our failed mission in the galactic area.”
Levi stopped waving his potato around. “Then, it’s not impossible for more humans to show up?”
“Nothing is impossible,” Jaeyoung replied with a slight smirk. “We of all people should know that by now.”
The breeze caressed my bare face. I’d never get tired of that sensation.
I looked up at the clear blue sky. There wasn’t a cloud or spacecraft in sight. Just a typical beautiful Eukaria afternoon.
Would there be another human on this planet someday? I didn’t know. As long as they didn’t disturb our peace, I didn’t care.
I sensed my mate approaching from behind before I felt his hands land my shoulders.
“Are you nearly finished, my little human?” Farr’vye asked.
It still made my chest flutter when he used that special nickname.
“Almost,” I said. “There’s just a few plates left.”
Farr’vye’s fingers dug into my shoulders, and his abdomen pressed into my back. Although his cock was tucked away inside of his cloaca, I knew it was twitching and hard, ready to fill me to the brim. I swallowed a tiny moan at the thought.
The other guys must’ve seen the look on my face because they all looked smug.
Levi waved me off. “All right, get out of here. We’ll handle the rest.”
“Really?” I asked, touched that they’d take over my share of the work.
Jaeyoung nodded. “Go home. Enjoy your evening.”
“And have lots of fun,” Paz added with a wink.
I blushed. Not only was I grateful for their generosity, but I was also grateful for their shared experiences. They were the only other humans in existence who knew a Maeleon’s touch. And how good it felt to get dicked down by one.
After saying goodbye to my buddies, I returned to Farr’vye’s arms. He carried me home, as he often did. He liked to flex his power and guardianship over me, and I was happy to be fawned over as his precious prize. The safest I ever felt was while cradled against his chest.
“Did you have fun with your friends today?” Farr’vye asked.
“It was great. I can’t believe how fast their kids are growing up.” I grinned. “But they’re way too much work. I’d rather spend that time with you.”
Farr’vye’s orange eyes squinted with affection. “I feel the same way.”
He brushed his snout against my cheek, and I melted into the touch. His physical love language was everything I didn’t know I craved, and he offered it without limits. If I wanted it, Farr’vye gave it to me. He’d even given me a new name; one that made me comfortable in my own skin.
When I’d first landed on Eukaria, I was terrified of Maeleons. Now I’d found my true love in a seven-foot-tall creepy purple alien who was utterly obsessed with me.
And I couldn’t have asked for a better mate.
