Chapter 20

I burst onto the bridge of the Voyager, my heart pounding with anticipation. “Dave, you won’t believe—” The words died in my throat as I took in the sight before me.

Dave’s moss-green skin glistened with sweat, his massive wings unfurled behind him. And there, straddling his lap, was Zarath—gloriously naked, his skin shimmering as he panted softly. Pearlescent streaks of cum painted his lean torso.

My mouth went dry. “Oh my,” I whispered, heat flooding my cheeks.

Dave’s eyes met mine, a wicked grin spreading across his face. “Well hello there, sweetheart. Care to join us?”

I shook my head, trying to remember why I’d come. “I... there’s news from Earth.”

But my gaze kept drifting to where their bodies joined, imagining the thick ridge of Dave’s cock stroking Zarath from the inside. Two months of exploring each other, and the sight still took my breath away.

“Earth can wait,” Zarath purred, his formal tone slipping as he gazed at me with heavy-lidded eyes.

A rush of emotion overwhelmed me. “Oh fuck, I love you both so much.”

They froze, staring at me in shock. I clapped a hand over my mouth, surprised by my own outburst. I never cursed—remnants of my strict upbringing. But these men... they made me want to break all the rules.

“Did our proper little Delilah just drop an f-bomb?” Dave teased, but his voice was thick with emotion.

I nodded, unable to speak past the lump in my throat. How had I gotten so lucky?

“You’ve never said that before,” Zarath whispered, his eyes wide with wonder. Intense emotion flowed off of him in waves.

I laughed softly, crossing the bridge to where they sat entwined. My heart raced as I cupped Zarath’s face, pressing a tender kiss to his lips. “I love you, my beautiful, brilliant boy,” I murmured against his mouth. The ankra bond between us thrummed with warmth, and I could feel his love radiating back to me, pure and unconditional.

Dave watched us, his expression a mix of desire and something more vulnerable. I knew he’d been hurt before, his playful exterior hiding deeper wounds. I was content to give him time, to prove our love was real and lasting.

“And you,” I said, turning to Dave. “I love you too, even if you’re not ready to say it back.”

Dave’s massive wings rustled, a telltale sign of his agitation. But then he smiled, that roguish grin that never failed to make my knees weak. “Well now,” he drawled, “seems our little farm girl’s gone and developed quite the silver tongue.”

As if to punctuate his words, Dave’s hand began a slow, sensuous slide up and down Zarath’s sweat-slicked body. Zarath let out a low, rumbling purr that sent shivers down my spine.

I bit my lip, fighting the urge to climb into Dave’s lap alongside Zarath. The sight of them together, all that gorgeous alien skin on display, made my body ache with need. But I knew if I gave in now, we’d be lost in pleasure for hours.

“Don’t tempt me,” I warned, my voice husky. “We have important things to discuss.”

Dave’s eyes sparkled with mischief. “More important than this?” He emphasized his point with a deliberate roll of his hips that made Zarath gasp.

I groaned, squeezing my thighs together. “You’re impossible.”

“That’s why you love me,” Dave shot back with a wink.

And damn it all, he was right.

Clearing my throat, I forced myself to focus. “Actually, there’s something I need to tell you both.”

Dave and Zarath immediately sat up straighter, their playful demeanor shifting to concern. “What’s wrong, sweetheart?” Dave asked, his brow furrowing.

I pulled out my phone, my hands trembling slightly. “It’s... it’s about my stepbrother, Elijah. I just got a text from Apphia.”

Zarath’s iridescent skin shimmered with interest. “The one from your cult back on Earth?”

I nodded, swallowing hard. “He’s being excommunicated. They don’t know why, and he won’t say. But he needs to get out of Wagon Pass, and fast.”

Dave’s wings twitched, a telltale sign of his unease. “That doesn’t sound good.”

“It’s not,” I continued, my voice barely above a whisper. “Apphia says when men are excommunicated, they’re never seen or heard from again. She... she thinks they might be killed.”

The words hung heavy in the air, the weight of their implications settling over us like a shroud.

“Surely that’s absurd,” Zarath interjected, his formal tone betraying his discomfort. “Even in a backward settlement like Wagon Pass, they couldn’t possibly—”

“I don’t know,” I cut him off, fear clawing at my insides. “I wouldn’t have thought so either, but... God, what if she’s right?”

Dave’s eyes met mine, filled with a warmth that made my heart ache. “Do you want to help him, Delilah? Give him a place to go?”

I hesitated, memories of all the times I’d complained about Elijah flooding back. His judgmental looks, his snide comments about my “sinful ways.” But beneath it all, I saw the scared little boy who’d lost his father, thrust into a world he didn’t understand.

“I... I know I’ve said a lot of bad things about him,” I admitted, my voice cracking. “But he’s still family. I can’t just leave him there to die.”

Dave nodded, reaching out to squeeze my hand. “Then we’ll figure something out. Together.”

Dave and Zarath rose from their seats, their naked bodies on full display. My eyes were immediately drawn to the magnificent sight of their softening cocks, glistening with the remnants of their recent activities. I felt a familiar warmth spreading through me, desire coiling in my belly despite the seriousness of the situation.

“Well,” Dave said, a mischievous glint in his eyes, “this actually works out perfectly. We’re already supposed to pick up Dalko’s daughter, Mags, and a prisoner she has with her at the Earth space station. Since we’ve got the course plotted, we may as well spend our time...”

“Showering and getting ready,” Zarath interrupted, rolling his s eyes. His iridescent blue skin shimmered as he moved, still covered in a sheen of sweat and cum.

Dave’s lips curved into a wicked grin. “Come on, Z. We can very easily fuck in the shower. You know, for efficiency’s sake.”

Zarath stalked off in a huff, his lean frame taut with irritation. “It’s not the time for horniness, Dave,” he scolded over his shoulder.

I couldn’t help but giggle at the absurdity of it all — Zarath lecturing about horniness while completely naked and covered in the evidence of their recent tryst. The sound of my laughter seemed to break the tension, and I found myself caught between arousal and amusement.

“Should we... follow him?” I asked Dave, my voice husky with barely contained desire.

Dave’s massive, moss-green wing unfurled and wrapped around me, enveloping me in warmth as we followed Zarath’s retreating form. I leaned into Dave’s muscular body, feeling safe and cherished. My heart swelled with emotion as I tilted my head to look up at him.

His eyes softened as they met mine, and he leaned down, pressing a tender kiss to my forehead. “I love you too, sweetheart,” he murmured against my skin, his deep voice resonating through me.

A shiver of pleasure ran down my spine at his words. I opened my mouth to respond, but Zarath’s impatient voice cut through the moment.

“Would you two hurry up?” he called from further down the corridor. There was a brief pause before he added, his tone suddenly playful, “And him, obviously. How could I not love that perfect ass...”

I couldn’t help but laugh, joy bubbling up inside me at the easy banter between my lovers. Without thinking, I turned and wrapped my arms around Dave’s waist, pressing my face into his broad chest. His skin was warm against my cheek, and I breathed in his familiar scent.

“You know,” I whispered, tracing my fingers along the ridges of his abs, “Zarath might have a point about that ass of yours.”

Dave’s chuckle rumbled through his chest. “Is that so?” he teased, his wing tightening around me. “Maybe we should catch up to him and you can both appreciate it up close.”
