Chapter Eighty-Two

Alan

I slowly undressed Jess, kissing every square inch of skin with each piece of clothing I removed. I wanted to memorize every freckle, birthmark, and mole on her body.

“I missed you so much, baby,” I murmured as I traced my lips along her belly. “I was afraid I was never going to hold you again.”

“I missed you, too.” She ran her fingers through my hair before confessing, “I took one of your dirty t-shirts from the hamper when I left. I’ve slept in it every night.”

I fucking loved that.

Still, I teased, “Weirdo,” before confessing myself. “I took a pair of your dirty panties with me overseas.”

“Freak.”

That made me laugh out loud, and I planted more kisses down her body until I ran my tongue along her hip bone.

“We’re just a couple of weirdos and freaks, babe. I guess that makes us perfect for each other.”

“It’s a good thing we found one another, then.”

I smiled up at her. “Good thing. Nobody could ever love you more than me.”

Her eyes were shiny when she whispered back, “I don’t ever want to find out. You’re who I was meant to be with.”

“I love you, baby. I want to be wherever you are.”

“I love you, too. So much.”

I cocked my head. “So much?”

“So, so much.”

Licking down the crease of her thigh, I murmured, “Well, I love you more. Let me prove it.”

With a cocky grin, she spread her legs wider. “By all means.”
