TWENTY TWO
It was now Saturday morning, the day of this pool party Ari is wanting to throw.
People will be adding at noon and I am in my office trying to get paperwork work done before I have to go downstairs to entertain.
It has been two days since I have seen Olivia around but I know her and Ari have been out collecting stuff for the party.
I don't know why you want to touch her so bad or be around her so bad, it is infuriating.
I looked over to the couch where I had Olivia moaning two days ago. All I wanted to do was touch her again, to make her mine. I knew how good she would feel if I could be inside of her.
Knock knock knock
I sighed in annoyance hearing my office door being knocked on, brining me out of my thoughts.
"Come in," I yelled.
The door opened and in walked Ari with a smile on her face. She closed the door behind her and walked over and took a seat in the chair across from my desk.
"So I just came to tell you that we got everything for the party handled. I made Austin and Jeremy start setting things up," she smiled.
My mouth almost curled into a smile at the thought of Austin having to set things up cause I know Ari isn't being easy on them, she is very picky with how she wants things. I grew up with Austin, he is a great guy but I don't like how he is around Olivia, it really pissed me off.
"Good," I nodded.
"So... your office smells like sex," she smirked.
My body tensed up and I glared at her, "that's none of your business, Ari," I said sternly.
Fuck her werewolf sense of smell.
"Your Alpha tone don't work on me," she rolled her eyes, "so I'm guessing you made your mind up about, Olivia."
"I didn't make my mind up about anything," I said, shooting her a hard glare.
"Your dirty secret is safe with me. You better not hurt, Olivia. I like her a lot and I'll kill you if you hurt her," she glared back.
"I'm not planning on it," I said with no hesitation.
"Good," she smiled, "it's already 10:30 am, everyone is gonna start arriving around 1 pm. Also, one other thing..." she trailed off.
I sighed, "what is it, Ari?"
"You are manning the grill. It's just burgers and hot dogs," she shrugged.
"Ari, no. Absolutely not," I glared at her.
She rolled her eyes, "well too bad, suck it up sunshine. Anyways, I have to go make sure Austin and Jeremy aren't messing anything up."
I sighed and nodded. She got up and headed towards the door but stopped as she reached it and turned to look at me and I raised my eyebrow, questioning her.
"Tyson, you deserve to be happy. Don't think that you don't deserve it," she said softly, giving me a small smile before leaving.
12:38 pm
I dropped my arm after peaking at my watch to see the time.
I let out a loud sigh, I don't want to go to this, don't even know why I agreed to this.
I leave my office and head to my room to change.
I close my bed room door behind me and walk over to my dresser and pull out some old swimming trunks.
I sighed, quickly changing out of my jeans and shirt and put on the swimming trunks.
I exit my room and headed for the stairs. As I made it to the bottom of the stairs, Ari came out of the kitchen and began walking up to me.
"Come get the hamburgers and hot dogs before you head outside. I had Austin and Jeremy pre make the hamburgers. Also, I only invited one other pack," she smiled.
As I was about to say something, I smelt a sweet scent.
I snapped my head towards the back door being opened and saw Olivia walking in, giggling.
She looked absolutely stunning in her bikini as it hugged her curves well, her hair down in perfect waves.
I wanted to take her to my office right then and there as I watched her.
Gorgeous, I thought to myself.
I scowled as I saw Austin was right behind her laughing.
I clenched my fists, my nails digging into my skin.
I watched as he walked her to the kitchen with a dumb smile on his face as he eyes her.
I want to punch the shit out of him right now.
It angered me for some reason that he was making her laugh and smile and I wasn't.
Ari cleared her throat bringing me out of my thoughts.
"Maybe if you'd just tell her that you like her, this wouldn't be a problem," she said giving me a smirk.
I rolled my eyes, "I don't want to hear it, Ari."
She gave me an eye roll of her own, "come on, lover boy, let's go get the hot dogs and hamburgers. People are gonna show up any second."
"Don't call me that!" I gritted out.
I walked with Ari into the kitchen and noticed as Olivia and Austin had stopped talking, which pissed me off more.
She was sitting on the counter with Austin standing beside her, leaning against it.
I didn't like that he was around her and I definately did not like him getting to see her in a bikini. Tell me why I even agreed to do this.
"Alpha," Austin spoke up.
I nodded, ackowledging Austin, then took a glance at Olivia and saw she lowered her head but I could notice her cheeks were red.
I loved the way I could make her blush. I walked over to the fridge to get out the hot dogs and the pre made hamburgers.
As I was about to leave the kitchen the door bell rang.
"Ari, get the door!" I yelled back at her.
"Why?!" she whined.
I rolled my eyes, turning back around to look at her, "your party, your guests." I stated.
I headed out side and over to the large pool on the other side of the yard away from where we do training. Peoples voice started to trail in and some of our other pack members were already by the pool waiting and talking.
Let's get this over with, I sighed, thinking to myself.
