THIRTY EIGHT
"Olivia, you look drop dead gorgeous!" Ari beamed as I put on my last finishing touches for the ball.
I smile, "Thank you. You look beautiful."
We were currently getting ready together in the room I usually stay in because Ari wanted me to surprise Tyson. There are butterflies swarming in my stomach as I think about tonight with Tyson. I felt closer to Tyson after yesterday night after our talk.
"Tyson is waiting for us down stairs. Are you ready?" Ari smiled widely.
"Let's do this," I chuckle.
She links her arm in mine and leads us straight out of the room.
She takes her arm from mine as she starts to walk down the stairs.
I stay frozen at the top of the stairs, my heart speeds up and my breathing hitched, it felt like time had stopped as soon as I saw Tyson standing at the bottom the stairs as his eyes stayed on me.
I blushed, taking in his appearence. He was wearing a dark rose wood red suit that hugged to his body nicely.
The red was darker then my dress but still almost matched perfectly.
He smiled widely at me and was holding out his hand, waiting for me to come down to take his hand.
I took a deep breath as I walked dow the stairs slowly.
As soon as I made it to the last step I placed my hand in his and I felt like my heart was beating outside of my chest, I am sure he could hear it.
"You look beautiful, Olivia," His voice husky.
"T-thank you," I blush at his compliment.
He helps me off the last step and brings me to his chest as he nuzzels his face in between my neck and shoulder, his warm breath hitting my neck sending shivers down my spine. He grins as he looks back up at me.
"Were you trying to matching me?" I ask with a smirk as I raise an eyebrow.
He chuckles, "Yes. Ari told me what color your dress was," he stated honestly.
"Okay, lovers, I am waitng. I wanna go," Ari whined.
I forgot she was even still here after I focused in on Tyson. Tyson winked at me before he intertwined his fingers with mine, giving my hand a light squeeze of reassurance.
"You ready, doll?" he asked softly.
I nodded my head as the three of us walked out of the house and to his car. Ari took a seat in the back as Tyson opened the passenger door for me and helped me get in before he ran over to the drivers side, taking his seat as he started the car and took off out of the drive way.
Tyson pulled up to a beautiful mansion and I swear I thought my mouth was gonna drop open in shock.
Stunning. Ari practically jumped out of the car as soon as it stopped and started making her way towards the mansion, leaving us behind.
Tyson waisted no time after he put the car in park to get out and run over to my side, opening the door for me.
He held out his hand to help me down and I gladly took his hand with mine and stepped out of the vehicle.
He closed the door and pulled me to his chest. He pulled out two masks out of his tux pockets.
I had forgotten to buy a mask, I had forgotten that is a masquerade ball.
I am glad he remembered for me. He tied my small laced black mask onto me, before slipping his on.
"You look amazing, Olivia," He complimented.
I blushed at his compliment as he wrapped my arm around his as we walked towards the very large mansion. As we walked in the house was filled with all kinds of wolves that were very well dressed and all in masks. The music was loud as some people danced and the others talked while smiling.
"Alpha Tyson, so glad you wade it!" a man in a mask beamed as he started walking up to us.
"I'm gonna go find Ari," I told Tyson.
I quickly unlinked our arms and walked off, not wanting to be there when that man got to us.
I moved through all the diferent people here and made my way to the first waiter I saw.
I need a drink. I need to calm my nerves.
I haven't even seen Ari since she ran off without us.
He gave me a soft smile as he lowered the tray in his hand carefully as I grabbed a glass of champagne before he walked off to circle the room.
"Hey," a deep voice behind me said causing me to slightly jump, almost spilling the champagne from the glass.
I turned around and see a very well dressed man in a mask smiling down at me. He looked very fit, just as in shape as Tyson. I take a sip from my glass to clear my dry throat, the man's lips form into a smirk.
"Hey?" I said back but it came out as more of a question.
"I don't think I have seen you around before. What's your name?" he asked.
"Olivia. What's yours?" I said offering a small smile.
"Rowan," he smiled, "You look very lovely tonight. Would you like to dance?"
"I don't really know how to slow dance..." I trailed of nervously, lying. I know how to slow dance it is one of the many thing my father taught me, I just don't want dance with him.
He let out a low cuckle, taking the still full champagne out of my hands and handing it to some randow person that was walking by.
Well he is smug also I really wanted that drink.
Dick. Before I could protest Rowan, the masked man I now know the name of, takes my hand and drags me to the ballroom floor.
He brings me to his chest, on of his hands resting on the small of my back way to close to my ass.
That I didn't like and neither did Fay, she was running around in my head, fumming.
Not want to cause a scene, I sighed and gave in.
I placed my hand on his shoulder as my other hand rested in his.
He started to sway around the ball room and I followed his movements, hoping I don't step on his feet.
Tyson's scent hit my nose, I peer up over Rowan's shoulder to see Tyson heading straight for us. I didn't want to cause a scene but I have a feeling Tyson will. He looked pissed. He tapped on Rowan's shoulder causing Rowan to snap his head back to look at a fumming Tyson.
"I'll finish this dance with my date, if you don't mind," Tyson gritted out.
Rowan just nodded, letting go of me. I turned to Tyson and he smirked at me, taking Rowan's place. Tyson held me close to him as we swayed across the dance floor. He dipped me back, leaning his head down, his mouth beside my ear as his warm breath hit my neck.
"I'd very much like to fuck you right now," He whispered against my ear.
My face I am sure is red and I could feel my panties start to pool. He leaned back up, pulling me up with him. I graze my lips against his as I looked at him in his eyes.
"Then do it," I challenged, whispering softly against his lips.
