FOURTY FIVE

My office door slams open, making me snap my head up from looking at the papers on my desk. I see Ari walk in and she looked pissed. She glares at me before slamming my office door shut and I growl at her.

"You stupid fucking idiot!," She snaps at me as she slams her hand down on my desk and I give her a hard cold glare.

"Watch your fucking tone, Ari!," I snap back.

"Your bullshit 'Alpha' tone don't work on me!" She yells.

"What the hell is your problem, Ari?!" I seeth at her.

"You are my problem, Tyson!," she snaps back, "Olivia told me what happened!"

I froze and clenched my jaw, knowing exactly what she was talking about. I didn't want to think about that. How Olivia told me she loves me, she doesn't know what love is until she meets her mate. She doesn't love me.

"Ari, drop it!," I snap at her.

She rolled her eyes, unfased, "I will not drop it! That girl in there loves you and you ran out on her!"

"Ari, she does not love me! She doesn't know what love is! It's none of your business anyways!" I snap.

"You are so stupid! You run at the first sign of love because you are so damn scared!

It's been four years! Evelyn is not coming back and she would want to see you happy!

," Her voice full of venom, "I see the way Olivia looks at you!

I know he she feels about you! You are fucking it up because you are selfish and you will lose her! "

Before I could say anything she storm out of my office and slams the door behind her. I was fumming, my jaw was tightly clenched. Ari doesn't know shit.

I lay down the finished paperwork on my desk and stand up, ready to go to bed.

I stand up from my chair and walk towards my oficce door to leave.

I was still pissed off with Ari and how she talked to me like that.

I have never had this big of a fight with Ari before but she doesn't understand shit.

I open my door to leave and out of the corner of my eye I see Jeremy standing beside Olivia's door to her room.

I turn to walk towards him and his head shoots up, a emotion flashed through his eyes that looked like anger but I wasn't for sure.

"Alpha," He nods.

"Is Olivia in there?" I ask him.

He clenches his jaw and I see anger flash through his eyes. So he is pissed.

"Yes. She wanted to sleep in her room tonight," his voice dry.

I felt pain shoot through me at the sound of hearing that.

I sigh and nod my head before I head to my room.

I open my door and step in, closing it behind me.

I sigh loudly when I look at the empty bed, I have gotten so used to sleeping with Olivia.

I strip out of clothes, leaving me with nothing but my boxers on.

I climb into my bed, under the covers and close my eyes to sleep. No matter how exhausted I was, my mind was restless. I couldn't sleep. I could sleep if Olivia was here. I liked seeing her small frame laying in my bed asleep when I come to bed. It was the best part after a long day in my office.

I didn't sleep the whole night as my mind kept thinking about Olivia.

This was hard for me. I sigh as I get out of my bed and go to my closet and pull out a white shirt and some black jeans.

I get dressed quickly before heading out of my room to watch over training.

Olivia's scent hit my nose as I start walking towards the stairs.

I walk down the stairs and notice her in the kitchen sitting on the counter, same spot every time.

I took in her appearence and she looked pale, she honestly looked lifeless. I faught back the urge to go to her and hold, knowing I am the last person she wants to see right now. I am sure she could smell me but she didn't show it which pained me a little bit.

I walked outside and everyone bows their head as a sigh of respect.

As training started, I leaned against the wall as I watched everyone start fighting their partners.

I nod my head at the trainers and leave to go to my office.

As I walk back inside I mentally groan as I see Ari walking into the pack house.

She glares at me once sees me. I just roll my eyes at the scowl on her face and walk up to my office.

I can feel Ari hot on my trail, I clench my fist not wanting to do this right now. I leave my office door open knowing she was about to come in. I hear the door close as I make it to my seat and sit down. I look up and glare at Ari as she sits in the chair across from my seat.

She sighs, "Tyson, I don't want to argue with you no more. You need to talk with Olivia. She doesn't look good at all."

"I know she doesn't I saw her in the kitchen this morning. I am the last person she wants to see right now," I let out a sigh of my own.

"No you are not. Tyson, you know I talked to her last night, she looked awful," Ari says softly.

"Ari, I will talk to her but I really need to get some paperwork done. Can you go?" I let out a deep breath.

She rolls her eyes, "Whatever, Tyson."

She get up and leaves my office I thank the moon goddess that she didn't slam my office door on her way out. I am sure she wanted to. Just when I was about to start some paper work, my wolf started to whimper and my eyes widen.

'Olivia' He whimpered out.

My heart dropped when I heard my wolf, Atlas, talk. I haven't had my wolf in four years, the sound of his voice has almost faded in my memories. What worried me more was when he said Olivia's name while whimpering.

'Atlas?' I talk back to him with wonder in my voice, wanting to know if he was truly back.

'Olivia's in trouble'Is all he said before he blocked me out.
