“Matt has just texted me, we need to stay here. Something is kicking off, but the media has eyes on them.” Bray says, then looks at me with a sigh,
“I don’t like it either, but I trust our family to keep my mate and my sister safe,” I nod as he finishes, then his phone rings with a video call.
“Lily is filming, my phone is on mute, so she won’t pick up your voices, but I thought you would want to see what’s happening.” Matt's voice comes through as Miles gives a nervous wave, and then the camera turns to watch out the car window.
My gorgeous mate stands shoulder to shoulder with Declan and Mika, well, kind of.
Declan is 6ft 2, Mika is 6ft 4, and my badass mate is 4ft 9, but she’s a fighter and a survivor, goddess, I love her, and because she didn’t get in the car with the others without me by her side, I’m going to spank her ass red when I get home.
