CHAPTER THIRTY-NINE
TRENT
I watch as Felix has a blessing from one of the Princes of Hell before the Prince returns to his own realm, and then it’s Luna's turn to walk down the aisle, who would have thought that me, a lynx shifter, would be standing here ready to be blessed to my Alpha and Luna’s youngest daughter, and an Alpha female at that.
I was fine to begin with, Luna was just another of Ember's amazing kids, until she hit puberty, then I became a giggling mess, blushing each time, she looked in my direction. Now, the twenty-one-year-old female with a partial doctorate in psychology is walking towards me.
“Breath Trent” I hear Ren whisper behind me and I take a huge breath, Luna takes my hand and then she guides me through our blessing, I can’t stop looking at her, everything but her is a blur, until we reach the door to my cabin, as she closes the door, I pull her into my lap on the sofa.
“I have a confession”, I look down at our linked hands,
“You were my first kiss, Luna. I have no experience. I never wanted anything from anyone until you,” she presses her lips to mine.
“Take me to bed, Trent, let's learn together.” I take a deep breath
“Trust me?” she whispers into my chest.
“Always.”
