Chapter 29
Ripper
“Send me fucking back,” I growled.
“I’m sorry. I can’t do that,” the man in front of me said.
“Fucking fight,” I heard in the breeze.
I glared at the man in front of me.
***
“Princess, he’s gone,” I heard in the breeze.
***
“Fight, Alexander,” I heard in the breeze.
***
“Come back, bro,” I heard in the breeze.
***
Blue lights flashed.
***
Purple lights flashed.
***
“Alexander Lawrence, I love you. Come back to me. Please,” I heard in the breeze, and it felt like the words caressed over my skin.
***
“Star Shine,” I whispered.
***
“It’s been three weeks; he still has minimal brain activity. It would be kind to let him go,” I heard.
***
“Touch that button, and I’ll shove my foot so far up your ass you’ll feel it for years to come,” I heard in the breeze.
“Ma’am.”
“I’m not signing shit,” I heard the most amazing voice in the universe growl.
***
“Princess, it’s been four weeks. He wouldn’t want to live like this,” I heard.
“Get the fuck out,” I heard.
***
The man in front of me finally smiled, “You weren’t supposed to go back; it was written in the stars.
You were born to save her, but we didn’t take into account that she was born to save you.
That was shielded from us. Follow her to the light.
She’s your home. The stars in the night sky deemed it so. ”
I smiled, then faced the light and started walking.
Right to my Star Shine.
