Chapter Nine

QUEEN

Who the fuck was this nigga Inferno? From the encounters that I had with him so far, I gathered up that he was really that nigga.

One of a kind and that meant a lot coming from me.

I knew a lot of niggas coming up, niggas that was rich and came up in the game.

Based off what all I saw so far with Inferno; he didn’t just have lots of money and riches.

The man was wealthy and smart as hell. Crazy didn’t describe him best, something was really off with him.

I never been kidnapped or held against my will.

I imagined how his greatest enemies were treated.

One place I refused to go back to was his dark smokey chamber.

It smelled so strong and held so many fumes, that I started to hallucinate.

I refused to cave in and give him what he wanted.

I stayed in that room for far too long. There was absolutely nothing down there but burnt objects and skeletons.

I didn’t know if the skeletons were real or just for decoration, but the shit was creepy as hell.

The thing with me, is I was used to being in control.

I was a certified man eater, I got what I wanted and made men bow down to me.

I tried the same gift of gab with Inferno and that shit came back hard on me.

When he entered me all of my senses and sane thinking left my body.

It didn’t return until he denied me. Denied me?

That shit still fucked with me hard. I tossed and turned in his massive bed and every time I opened my eyes they landed on him, sitting comfortably on his plush black couch with his feet up scanning a magazine like what he was reading was interesting.

A crazy part of me wondered if he would join me in bed and finish what he started earlier.

All he did was page his house maid and have her bring up some type of herbal tea that knocked me out.

When I woke, Inferno had that sneer plastered on his face.

Welcoming me to Mexico a place I was supposed to come to anyway to meet with my Abuela.

I kept my cool, I didn’t plan on kicking and screaming, I was smart but outnumbered.

There was no point in wasting energy, clearly, he didn’t plan on killing me so that was a plus.

Maybe I could use all of this shit to my benefit.

I looked at my clothing and smiled, I had on a teal three-piece pantsuit.

The top fit like a bra, the pants were high waist and left a little of my stomach out.

I didn’t know what the hell he put in that tea, but I felt well rested and calm.

I had a Prada purse next to me, when I went to look in it my cellphone was there and all the belongings I came with.

That’s what confused me, I was for sure kidnapped but he didn’t take away my phone, I was still able to talk and communicate with my gang.

Once the jet landed, he stayed seated across from me.

I heard him speaking Spanish and could make out a couple of words.

I didn’t speak fluently like my Abuela and father.

I only knew a couple of basic words. I looked out the window and saw high mountain tops.

The sun shined brightly, and flashbacks of my childhood came rushing back to me.

My father always loved coming to his country.

He took pride when he would tell me stories about being raised out here.

I watched Inferno stand and stifled my laugh.

He rocked snakeskin cowboy boots, a Piteado belt with some tight ass jeans that had the bulge in his pants looking ridiculously big.

The plaid black and white shirt he had on was unbuttoned showing off his fine ass abs.

I just knew the bitches were crazy over him.

“Welcome to Culiacan’ Sinaloa.” He smirked and held his hand out.

I stood without his help and made my way to the exit where a black Escalade truck was waiting.

Soon as I hit the concrete, a flamboyant dressed man stepped out dressed similar to Inferno.

He had a tight pink plaid shirt with suspenders, short shorts on with oil up and down his legs with pink cowboy boots on and a pink scarf wrapped around his neck.

He was beautiful as hell with green eyes and long curly hair going down his back.

You could tell from his extra plump lips he got lip injections done.

Everything about him screamed dramatic down to the way he walked.

“Hola mami,” he smiled and walked around me.

When he got to my back side he started yelling “Ai Yai Yaaaiiiiii! Too much ass for you Malice.” He slapped me on the top of my ass and hugged me from the back.

“So pretty, so gangster looking. You his little chulo, chica?” He popped his lips and threw his arm around me.

We started walking side by side. Usually, I would’ve pushed his ass off of me, but he smelled like my favorite perfume which was Chloe.

“Inferno, Roberto, don’t let me remind you what to call me again. This is a business partner of mine.” Inferno winked at me as I rolled my eyes hard at him. Still choosing not to speak. I was stuck on the fact that his name was Malice.

“Don’t let my big brother scare you, Chica. He’s so uptight, such a bully.” He fake pouted. Inferno climbed in the front seat and me and Roberto got in the back.

“Straight to the compound.” He told the driver with no other pleasantries.

We rolled listening to Roberto go on and on about how he didn’t like the nail techs out in Mexico.

He lived in Miami and was visiting out here for a couple of months to meet his new siblings.

He asked Inferno a couple questions and most questions he asked was ignored.

I made small talk with him; I liked his outgoing personality.

He seemed like a sweetheart, besides him being over the top dramatic, I enjoyed his conversation.

We traveled through deep canyons until we entered a rainforest, following the trail the ground underneath us seemed very rocky.

My Abuela stayed more on the city side. I had no plans of telling them that I knew all about Mexico.

Hell, it was apart of me and soon as I decided to agree with my Abuela, I too would be a powerful woman.

Whenever Inferno decided to get off his power trip and let me free, I hope that was in a day or two, I would call my Abuela and meet with her since I was already out here.

Taking my phone out, I turned the camera facing me and took in my face.

I was bare of any makeup. I felt naked, like the real me was exposed.

I eyed the two tear drops that I constantly covered in remembrance of my parents.

That was my greatest weak spot. The broken heart that sat on my opposite cheek was the definition of how I felt every day.

I forced myself to be strong at a young age because I didn’t have a choice.

I didn’t pick this life; it chose me and I lived up to the shit with no regrets.

“Chica we’re here.” Roberto smiled and hopped out the car to jog around to my side.

He opened the door and bowed a little. “I’m still some what of a gentleman, you see?

That asshole is already up the heel ready to go find our Papa.

” I couldn’t hold back the giggle that left my mouth.

Roberto was truly a character. I looked up the long-slanted pathway and saw that Inferno was already at a great distance.

“You and your brother close?” I decided not to be the reserved person that I’m used of being.

I was used of keeping a blank expression on my face, I never really talked much around my gang because I really didn’t have too much to say.

If it wasn’t about business are making money, I didn’t concern myself with it.

The only person that was able to get me opened and talking, even joking sometimes was my spoiled baby sister.

Roberto just had a peaceful and good aura about himself.

It seemed like we clicked the moment I stepped off of Inferno’s private jet.

You all that reading this book probably wondering how am I so fucking calm.

How did I get kidnapped, kept in a chamber that was used to start fires with fake or real skeletons for days straight so calm?

How can I just adapt to this fine ass stranger that dragged me to Mexico against my consent.

Survival and learning how to adapt to any situation without panicking is all I can tell you.

When you have been forced to adapt and play things out until it reveal itself so many times in life you will understand why I was so calm.

My intuition was telling me that this was the start of another crazy chapter in my life that I would have to adapt to.

I was far from dumb, Inferno wasn’t going anywhere no time soon, I envisioned him becoming a thorn in my side.

We had some shit in common without him having to confess it to me.

Without me knowing much about him, I knew that we both held dark and disturbing thoughts.

“I want to have a better relationship with my Hermano.” (Brother) his beautiful green eyes shined with sadness.

“We have a lot of siblings, and they don’t treat him nice, but I try to.

Malice is not easy to break through to, but I’ll never give up.

I love him and that’s why I’m here.” He perked up and smiled.

He grabbed my hand; I relaxed when I felt how soft his hands felt enclosed with mine as we walked up the path way.

Roberto talked and talked about how big his father’s compound was, and he promised to give me a tour later on in the night.

I just nodded my head and smiled at everything he said, Roberto was green and didn’t know much.

I could tell, I also didn’t expect him to realize that he was walking hand in hand with a certified shooter.
