Arthur Penn's Off-Limits Charge

Arthur Penn shares a famous king's name, yet the ex-Navy SEAL founded Round Table Security to prove he is more than his father's billions.

FBI-hired weapons historian Dr. Gwen Lyons must authenticate a seventh-century sword seized in a black-market raid, and it cannot leave the States without protection, so Lancelot volunteers the firm for his ex.

Arthur takes the escort himself, already unsure he wants his best friend to win Gwen back, and sends Lancelot off to chase a lead.

Once they are alone, a shadowy order that has buried the sword's secret for centuries strikes, and the job becomes a chase across England and France.

A mentor once stole Gwen's research and let their field believe she had traded her body for credit, and after years of hiding her face she refuses to hide again.

Forced proximity draws Arthur toward the off-limits woman he has sworn to keep alive, even as he wonders whether she will still want him when she no longer needs him.
