Chapter fourteen
SIERRA
The three of us reach Sebastian's house together, all deciding to wear heels and dresses, just the way Jenny suggested, and we have a bunch of bottles in our hands, ready to get our night started.
"Kyle's here already," I note, seeing that his car is parked on the driveway. My eyes roll slightly. "So much for hating Sebastian's place."
My comment makes them both chuckle, and Jenny twists the knob at the front door.
We just invite ourselves in, walking through the house and towards the back door.
We slide it open, and our eyes zero in on the three already comfortable on the deck chairs by the pool.
Sebastian waves lazily from his chair, sunglasses on despite the sun being long gone.
Elias and Kyle are sitting on the other one, and they all have their cups full.
"Did you start without us?" Jenny narrows her eyes at them and rushes over. "Fucking traitors."
Kyle lifts his drink with a sheepish grin. "You're late."
"Not late. We're just on time." Jenny argues, pointing at her wrist watch.
I step onto the deck and feel the wooden planks warm and hollow under my heels. Mia follows, each of us placing our bottles on the little side table by the cooler.
My eyes lock with another pair, and I feel a rush of heat go through me again.
Elias looks so good in a white short-sleeved shirt and black pants, his sleeve tattoo on display, and a wrist watch on.
For some reason I've always found him wearing watches so incredibly hot. Besides him wearing a football jersey.
Before I can stare too long, I brush my hair behind my ears on both sides and sit down next to Kyle, trying to calm my racing heart.
I see how Jenny snatches Sebastian's glass and takes a sip, her rose gold sequin dress sparkling from the lights in the pool. She grimaces dramatically. "What the hell is in this? It tastes horrible."
"It's whiskey. Unfortunately lightweights like you can't handle that."
He earns a smack to the shoulder before she swings his legs away so she can sit down beside him.
"Abuse," Sebastian mutters and rubs his shoulder, but his groaning doesn't last long when he decides to stand up, arms wide. "Okay, now that the full cast has arrived, let's make this a night to remember. Music?"
"Let's do the game first," Mia adds, and Jenny's eyes light up with wicked delight.
"Yes! Truth or dare. Everyone in?"
We all exchange glances, and there's a hum of anticipation in the air. We've done a drunken truth or dare plenty of times before, and with full confidence I can say that there's nothing that could make us feel embarassed in front of each other at this point.
"I'm in," I say, kicking off my heels and sinking back onto the chair, annoying Kyle with poking his thigh with my toes.
Sebastian puts on some music on low volume for a good background noise, and Jenny claps her hands, then starts pouring us some shots into mismatched glasses.
"Perfect. Okay, rules are simple. No bailing, no safe words, and no holding back. The usual." She hands them out as we remain on the two deck chairs, sitting in threes. The clink of glasses is sharp in the humid air, and the tequila burns hot all the way down.
"Yes, ma'am," Kyle smirks, running a hand through his fluffy hair.
"All right," Jenny says, crossing her legs and grabbing a deck cushion to place on her lap. "Who's going first?"
Sebastian points at Elias. "Eli. You're always suspiciously quiet in these games. Time to change that."
Elias groans but doesn't argue. "Fine. Hit me."
Jenny leans forward, eyes gleaming. "Truth or dare?"
Elias hesitates just for a second too long. "Truth."
"Coward," Kyle coughs, a fist placed in front of his mouth, and I chuckle beside him, then nudge him in the ribs. He gets a lot more talkative and mischievous under the influence, especially because it's just us around. And it's adorable.
Jenny ignores him, and keeps her eyes on Elias. "If you had to hook up with one person here tonight... remember, no exceptions and no dodging, who would it be?"
The guys instantly erupt into loud jeers and laughter. Even Mia whistles, shaking her head. Heat curls up my spine, and my eyes shift to him over Kyle's frame.
Elias sighs, giving her a look. "Fuck. We're starting there?"
Jenny's expression is smug, and she simply shrugs. "It's chaos edition. No mercy."
Elias lets out a long breath. "Fine. I'd probably choose Sierra." His eyes skip to me, and Kyle smirks beside me, hiding it with taking a sip of his drink.
Everyone erupts into loud whistles again.
God, they have no clue.
"Alright!" Jenny's already scanning the circle. "Next victim... you," she says, pointing at me.
I roll my eyes but smile. "Truth."
"Oh, come on," Kyle groans, sending me a look of disapproval. "You too?"
"I'm easing in," I say. "Get over it."
Jenny doesn't miss a single beat. "What's something you've never told anyone in this group?"
"And it has to be dirty!" Mia adds loudly.
The circle goes quiet again. Everyone's looking at me now, waiting for me to say something. My brain scrambles for an answer. There are things. So many things. Some that would get a laugh. Some that would definitely kill the mood. Some that involve me and Elias.
"How dirty?" I ask.
"As dirty as it gets," Sebastian wiggles his brows teasingly.
"Okay," I let out a breath, twisting the edge of my dress between my fingers. Everyone nods, urging me to continue. My heart is pounding, but there's a flicker of something bold in my eyes. I shift just enough to let the tension breathe.
"I have a fantasy that involves me being completely at someone's mercy. Like tied up, blindfolded, not knowing what's coming next... like... being edged for hours so I have to beg for it."
The air goes still. Elias's expression hardens.
Five pairs of eyes watch me with amusement, a few smirks showing here and there. I should feel embarassed, but I don't, because we all know that Sebastian enjoys threesomes and that Jenny once went down on a woman. There's no shame.
It should be weird, but it's somehow not. I know that we won't make fun of each other for things like that. At least not seriously.
My eyes flicker across all of them, stopping with Elias. His jaw tenses up the second our eyes meet, his gaze dark and pooling with intensity. His reaction isn't amusement or shock. It's heat that's barely masked, and it makes me feel breathless.
"And the idea that I couldn't stop it, that I'd have to surrender to whatever they wanted... that's what makes it impossible to stop thinking about." I add, my voice lower now.
For a second, it feels like the others don't even exist anymore. It's just me and Elias. I don't look away. And neither does he.
"Damn," Sebastian says finally, breaking the silence with a shaky laugh as he pours himself another shot. "We have a freak right here."
"Shut up." I nudge him with my foot, and the rest break out into chuckles.
Kyle's laughing, shoulders shaking as he keeps his hand over his forehead. "Oh, this is gold. The dirty secrets are coming out."
Jenny is practically bouncing. "And we've barely even started." She leans in, eyes gleaming. "Next round. Kyle... truth or dare?"
The game continues, but I can't help but glance at Elias again. My thoughts are all over the place. They're with his hands on my body, his lips on my neck...
"Fuck, Eli," I moan as rocks his hips into mine. My fingernails dig into his back, and his low groan sounds against my ear.
"That's it," he moans, pushing me thighs higher around his waist. "Come for me. Let me see you lose it."
I snap out of my thoughts, gulping slightly before I clear my throat. I take a sip of my drink, focusing back on the game.
Kyle leans back on his elbows, squinting up at Jenny like he's calculating just how much chaos he's willing to endure. "Dare," he says finally, because of course he does.
"Absolutely. Let's make him earn his tequila." Mia grins.
"Okay." Jenny smirks and turns back to Kyle, mischief in full force. "I dare you to jump in the pool with clothes on, and stay in for five whole minutes. Bonus points if you do a dramatic entrance."
Without missing a beat, he stands up, finishes the last sip of his drink, and drops his phone onto the deck chair. He gives her a look, brows lowering. "You're literally evil."
"I've accepted that a while ago," she replies sweetly and bats her eyelashes. With her big blue eyes and a sly personality, not to even mention her always smelling like an enchantress, she's a real wild card. And people can hardly say no to her.
"You're the only one putting out dares and questions. Damn vixen..." he grumbles and shakes his head. All of us chuckle, getting ready for what's to come. I get my phone and start recording.
"Okay," Kyle says, sighing like a martyr while getting mentally ready. "You want chaos? You'll get chaos."
We all watch as he climbs onto the edge of the deck railing. He cannonballs into the pool with a splash that soaks the closest chairs, along with Sebastian who's standing by, changing the music on his phone.
"Asshole!" Sebastian shouts, jumping back. "Come on, this is an Armani shirt!" he groans.
Kyle surfaces, slicking his hair back with both hands and grinning like a maniac. "Totally worth it."
Water's dripping down Sebastian's shirt, and the rest of us are doubled over, disolving into laughter. It's the kind that aches in my ribs and makes my cheeks hurt. It's all so stupid, loud and perfect.
A while goes by before we all decide that our pregame is successfully done.
Sebastian and Kyle change their clothes, and Elias offers to drive, since he barely had anything to drink, we all get to the car.
Once we're crammed inside, a problem occurs when we realize that we didn't really think this through.
"Okay, where am I supposed to sit?" Mia says, half-laughing.
Sebastian smirks and looks up, gesturing her to get on his lap.
He pulls her down on him and she lets out a surprised yelp, but doesn't resist.
She even leans back against him comfortably.
