Chapter Twenty-Nine

Axton

I was laughing at her so damn hard as she squealed and laughed. She was adorable wearing a beanie and a down coat. Baros and Magnus were in front of us in Magnus’s side by side. Irons and Wrenly were behind us, and a few other operatives joined in on the fun.

We already had about a foot of snow on the ground, and we decided to take the side by sides up the trails in the woods of the undeveloped parts of Creeds Lake. We just drove through a creek then up a steep hillside. She loved it when I stepped on the gas and spit snow behind us to hit Irons. We came to a flat field and we all did donuts. I could see Wrenly laughing and waving at Belle every time we spun around, and they were next to each other for about a second.

We lined up at the end of the field and raced toward the woods. Baros stood down at the end and watched to see who won the races. We all won our fair share, then we parked the side by sides and had a snowball fight.

I almost knocked Baros out when he got Belle in the face, but once the shock wore off she laughed then took off after him. He face planted and she started burying him in the snow. My girl was having the time of her life. She and Wrenly made us lay down and make snow angels, but of course Magnus and Baros drew a huge penis between the legs of their angels.

Baros thought it was cute and thought it was teasing me when he called her Mrs. Axton, but the joke was on him. I was proud as fuck that gorgeous, smart, and fun woman was my wife. “That’s right she’s Mrs. Axton and you better not forget it, fucker!” I threw a snowball at him then Belle came out of nowhere and tackled me. We laughed as she laid on top me then kissed, but I surprised her by rolling her over and laying on top of her. I knew the ground was cold, but she laughed anyway.

It was so far the most fun and memorable day in my life, but I felt secure enough to promise myself it was just one of many days my life would feel so perfect.

It was all fun and games until Magnus started his side by side and flung snow at all of us. He drove that thing around and knew exactly when to slide to absolutely bury us in snow. Then we all climbed back in our side by sides and chased him back down the hillside. At one point Belle laughed so hard she wasn’t making noise. Oddly enough, seeing her so happy was better than anything else on earth. It was like God was giving me my very own Christmas gift. When we parked the side by side next to Irons at the community center, she threw her arms around me and peppered kisses all over my still frozen face and thanked me for her funnest day yet. We were still months away from it being a suitable amount of time to ask her to make our marriage a true spiritual one, but I didn’t know how I would ever survive that long. I needed to be wrapped up fully into her warmth more than I needed air. I was supposed to be helping her, but instead she was giving me the strength I needed to finally put Natalie and her memory to rest.

We extended our fun afternoon at Club X eating greasy bar food and drinking beer. Belle tried a sip of my beer, but didn’t like it at all. Wrenly got her some fruity mixed drink she loved. Before long the Grangers showed up. Their kids were at the children’s Christmas party at the theater where they watched a few Christmas movies, had pizza, and ate popcorn. Addie was with them, so eventually Creed and Morgan came, against Creed’s protest. He wanted her resting at home, but Morgan wasn’t the type to stay still for long. Then came Drakos and Melissa, the Jennings, Darren and Bolton, Kayla, Patrick, and a few other operatives. Even Koty made an appearance.

After the children’s party, Creed and Morgan went home and left Addie with Irons and Wrenly for a few hours. Morgan was tired and they needed to be home for Karter and Creed’s little niece. He wasn’t quite ready for long shifts alone with his daughter, Olivia. Drakos and Melissa left because she was tired, but the rest of us went ice skating.

When we finally made it home, we got showers then got comfortable to sit down and wrap gifts. Thankfully, I had Kayla do my Christmas shopping not long after Thanksgiving, and Magnus picked up a few things in California for Belle and Koty. Kayla was sweet enough to wrap those gifts for me and I had them hidden. I wanted to put them under the tree in the middle of the night, so Belle and Koty had the full Christmas morning experience. I also got them stocking stuffers, and ordered mom and Kayla’s gifts online.

So, neither one of us were that great at wrapping gifts. Belle had never wrapped one in her life and well, mine looked wrinkled and I used a lot of paper and tape on mine. I even watched a You Tube video, but they still looked like shit.

When we were done, we made hot chocolate and sat by the window to watch the snow. It never felt more like Christmas. The large floor to ceiling windows made it feel like we were in a snow globe. The Christmas lights shined beautifully, and the stove was again giving us its radiant heat and the flames danced perfectly. I handed her one gift. “Just a little something for Christmas Eve.”

Her eyes lit up. “Really? My first Christmas gift?”

I nodded. “Go ahead and open it.”

“Okay, I know you didn’t wrap this box.” She giggled.

“Kayla did me a few favors since she got to escape this lockdown for a few days.”

She slowly opened it, and I took a photo with my phone. It was just another one of her firsts, but I loved all of them. She pulled out a set of Christmas themed flannel pajamas. “I thought maybe you could use something Christmas themed for the morning when I’m taking hundreds of photos.”

She placed her hand on my cheek. “You’re making our first Christmas absolutely perfect.” She leaned in and pecked my lips then smiled brightly. “I’ll be right back.” She hopped up and ran upstairs then came back down in the pajamas and she looked so damn adorable that I had to get another photo as she walked down the steps.

The doorbell rang and I groaned. “Dammit, Drakos has got to get Melissa under control. She’s a very bad little elf, and I don’t mean that in a good way.”

Belle laughed as I went to the door and opened it. I guess I didn’t learn my lesson last time. “It’s Christmas Eve, mom.”

She had her arms crossed but she was bundled up in a thick coat. “I believe I deserve an explanation.” She stepped inside.

I rolled my eyes. “Come on in, don’t mind our little cozy Christmas Eve that did not include guests.”

I shut the door and mom turned to glare at me, then she looked at Belle, then at me. “When is she due?”

I groaned again. “Not now.”

“Yes now. I learned from a complete stranger that my son is married, and I wasn’t even invited to the wedding?”

“She’s not pregnant, we are married because we want to be married and out of all the people in the world that we don’t need a blessing from is you. Now if you would excuse us, we would like to enjoy our first Christmas Eve alone. We will see you and Kayla in the morning.”

She turned and looked at Belle. “Welcome to the family, sweetheart.”

That sounded more like a warning to me. I’d be scared shitless if someone tried to welcome me into a dysfunctional family like ours.

They hugged. “Thank you, Ms. Axton.”

Oh boy.

“That’s Pammy to you, my sweet girl, and it’s Mrs. Axton. I’m still married to big Mike if you could believe that.” Mom took off her coat, dammit!

“Because you never made a petition to the court and your own daughter is an attorney.” That still burned my ass.

“My son doesn’t understand our Catholic ways.”

“Right, because it’s so Catholic of you to abandon your children and blame your son when his dad almost took his life away. Not to mention all the “uncles” you brought home for us to meet.” I said it so low she didn’t hear, because I didn’t want an argument in front of Belle.

“I love the Christmas pajamas! Come sit, I believe I need to get to know my new daughter a little better.”

I pulled out my phone and sent a text to Kayla.

Me: Come get your mom, you brought her here and I told you she wasn’t going to be my problem.”

Kayla: I’m busy.

Me: Come get her before I throw her out and she comes crying to you. Imagine that drama for the next week.

Kayla: Ugh, fine! But she’s your mom too!

Me: She’s smothering Belle, and we had plans tonight.

Kayla: Are you finally going to pop that cherry?

Me: Fuck off!

Kayla: Fine, but you better get to work at giving me a niece.

Me: Quit acting like this is a real marriage. Believe me, when I marry her it’ll be a hell of a better ceremony than a clerk of courts office.

Kayla: Aww, my brother’s in love.

Me: Get here now! She’s starting the story about how great her Christmas’s were as a kid. I’m about to choke her!

Kayla: Shit, I’ll be on my way in a minute. Just let me finish these blow jobs and I’ll be right over.

Me: The hell you will. Stop with the fictional stories and get your spoiled ass over here!

I put my phone away and thirty fucking minutes later Kayla showed up. Why the fuck was she with Magnus and Baros?

Belle

Our evening didn’t turn out as planned. Josh, Kyle, and Kayla went downstairs and started playing pool, Koty came home, and Pammy started smothering him with questions, Michael was frustrated, and I pulled him away from everyone to go to bed with me.

He turned on the back light, so as we laid in bed we could watch the snow falling. “It feels so magical.”

“It does.” He was running his fingers through my hair as we watched it snow.

“I’m not talking about the snow or Christmas.”

He kissed my temple. “I know.”

We fell asleep that way, and when the sun came up it shined on my face. It must have been late because the sun didn’t come up that early in the winter. Then I realized what day it was.

I gasped. “It’s Christmas!”

He must have been awake for a while because he tackled me down and tickled me, then laid on top of me as he stared down into my eyes. “I think I may have heard something on the roof in the middle of the night.” He said.

I snorted. “I grew up in a cult that danced with snakes and believed they wouldn’t bite the holiest ones, but you’re not tricking me darling husband. I know we have a stove and not a fireplace. He landed in the front yard!”

He burst out laughing. “You are too damn cute.” He pecked my lips. “Let’s go see if he came for you or gave it all to Addie.”

I gasped. “He better not have, she’s been a bad elf lately too. I’ve been a good girl.”

“You almost made the naughty list, but I won’t tell Santa.” He winked then pecked my lips.

Two minutes later, I was pounding on Koty’s door. “Wake up, sleepy head!”

He swung open his door. “We’re doing this? We don’t do Christmas, Belle.” His hair was sticking straight up, and he was in his boxers. That was when I noticed his tattoo, and it was a bad reminder of where I came from. I shook out of it.

“You knew this! Come on!” I pulled him toward the Christmas tree then gasped.

“He really came?”

There were gifts piled up so high I wondered what happened. Granted, I had Koty put some things under the tree, and he knew we were doing this, but there were so many more than what I arranged.

Michael wanted coffee and my head was about to explode if we didn’t get to the gifts soon. After he started the coffee pot he walked over and stood in front of the stockings. He must have noticed I had Koty fill his full because he stared at it for several long seconds before he pulled down two and handed them to us. “You can enjoy your stockings while I get a cup of coffee.

“What about yours?” I wanted to see him look inside his.

“Okay fine.” He walked over and grabbed his and we all reached inside them.

“My first stocking.” I squealed.

“I think it’s a first for all of us.” Michael said, with a little sadness in his voice.

I pulled out bath bombs, tons of candy, chap sticks, body wash, and a tiny box. I looked at Koty and he also had a little box. When we opened them we gasped.

“What is this?” Koty asked.

Michael smiled. “Go look in the driveway.”

We both went running and saw two snow covered side by sides. “No fucking way!” Koty said. I was shocked he used that particular word.

“They’re not new but they’re in great shape.” Michael walked over toward me. “A few of our guys upgraded so I bought them from Creed’s Lake. You’re not operatives, so they weren’t provided, but Irons and Creed gave me a really good deal that I couldn’t pass up. We can go out in a bit and put them in the detached garage with my car and motorcycle.”

I flew into Michael’s arms and peppered kisses all over his face.

“Don’t get too excited. You need to take a few driving lessons before I’ll unleash you into the community.”

Michael drank coffee, had a garbage bag next to him, and he was a bit obsessive over that big black garbage bag as wrapping paper went flying. All three of us were like children. Michael couldn’t understand where all the gifts for him came from, but Koty and I had money papa gave us and we went in together to make sure Michael got to have a real Christmas morning.

“No way!” I squealed over the new iPhone.

I got sweaters, boots, jeans, and new bras that would fit me better than Morgan’s, makeup, and about everything under the sun. I absolutely adored the blown glass red apple and the gold engraved pen with red ink for grading papers. The engraving said, “Love always, Michael.”

I watched in anticipation as Michael opened the platinum key chain that was engraved. “To my soldier, with love always, Belle.”

Koty got everything he needed and didn’t have yet. Jeans, slacks, tops, hoodies, sweaters, a huge box of condoms, socks, underwear, hair products, body wash, cologne, boots, a thick coat, hat, gloves, and pretty much everything. He also got a new phone.

There were also some gifts that weren’t for anyone in particular and I think they came from the commissary. New pots and pans since he didn’t have a good set, bakeware, silverware since he didn’t have the full set, new drinking glasses, thick comfy towels, and Koty got his very first gaming system and television for his…apartment. Koty broke the news that he was moving into an apartment for more privacy. I guessed so since he had a big, huge box of condoms to use up.

Michael was still opening his gifts because he kept taking breaks to take pictures of us and clean up the wrapping paper. Then Michael pulled a medium sized gift from the back of the tree and handed it to me.

When I opened it, I gasped.

“I got that one the day we left Arizona when I returned the rental truck.” He took a sip of his coffee. “I stopped at a grocery store in a plaza and there was a store filled with handmade things. I bought it thinking I’d give it to you to celebrate your freedom. I didn’t want to wait until everything was settled, so I decided Christmas would be perfect.”

It was a beautiful cedar box with a cross on it. When I opened it, I saw something even more gorgeous. It was a beautiful hand painted cover of a book, and when I opened it, I realized it was a Bible. The first page had a spot for a family tree, but my name was the only one on it. It wasn’t one that went backwards in generations but forwards. My name was on one of the top two lines.

Bellamy Theresa Ann Axton

“I obviously added your name after we got married. Heidi does calligraphy and I think she did a good job.”

I felt my eyes well up with tears. “Will your name be in here soon?”

“I guess time will tell.” He gave me a wink. “Then maybe we’ll add a few others under our names.”

I sat the bible down then crawled toward him. “Oh shit, I’m outta here.” Koty left the room, and I climbed on top of Michael to kiss him. He leaned back and I was laying on top of him. I lifted my head, and he pushed my messy hair behind my ear. “Thank you, it’s all too much and you didn’t need to do everything you did.” I said. “It’s been a Christmas like I couldn’t have dreamed up.”

He studied my eyes. “Belle, this was my first Christmas morning where I had gifts under the tree for me since I was probably six years old. You make me feel like I’m finally living a full life. I feel loved and taken care of for the first time ever.”

He lifted his head and kissed me.

An hour later, the living room was cleaned up and we had Christmas with his mom and sister. They made an amazing brunch, then we went to Creed and Morgan’s house to celebrate with the Originals. It wasn’t a surprise to see how spoiled Addie got, but I sensed a few problems coming when the new babies arrived. She wasn’t too happy when people brought gifts for the twins.

It was the middle of the night when a strange high pitched siren went off next to Michael in his nightstand.

“God dammit!” He picked up a phone I didn’t even know he had, it wasn’t his usual iPhone. “Get dressed, Belle. I’ll get your brother up, we’re going to the bunker.”

I threw on a pair of jeans and a sweater, then stepped into a pair of gym shoes. Michael ran up and grabbed his jeans to start throwing them on.

“What’s happening?”

“Your brothers are happening.” He put his shirt on then grabbed his wallet, a gun, then my hand. The sirens began whaling outside as we descended down the stairs. I was trying to keep up with him and he threw open the panel just as Koty came running out. I was shoved into the elevator and both of them disappeared as soon as the doors shut. I had to use my palm to get out of the elevator, then it closed and went back up. I was relieved to see the elevator doors open and both my guys were in it. We walked fast down a lit tunnel until we stopped at a door and Michael grabbed my hand and put it on the panel. “This checks you into my apartment and sends a signal to the command center that you’ve arrived at my apartment. Once inside you’ll have to scan your hand again then Koty needs to scan his badge. It tells them you’re squared away. You couldn’t be safer, Belle. I don’t know when I’ll be back, but I’ll have a prospect keep you informed.” He pecked my lips. “I love you, and if everything goes right, it’ll all end tonight. You’ll both be officially free.”

Axton

“Update me.” I approached Price in the command center.

“They showed up about five minutes ago. The front gate is giving them little resistance, just enough to fool them into entering. Once the gate closes, our second defense is ready.”

“Pull them up on the screen.” I watched as our video surveillance popped up on the screen.

We were buying time for the last handprint at the apartments signaled an all clear above ground. Everyone would be safe in the bunker. We installed some extra safety measures after the terrorist attacks last spring.

I watched as a very large group entered the front gates in trucks, then made sure the front gates got all the trucks inside before they shut, locked and were electrified.

“Send the signal.” I ordered.

Creed and Magnus came running up.

“They’ve breached the front gates and they’re secure. Sending the signal now.” I informed them.

“Do we have confirmation of all clear topside?” Creed asked.

“Waiting for two more” Price said.

“It’s time we step up the drills. Everyone should have been accounted for by now. I did it with two children and a wife who's having contractions.”

I whipped my head around. “What?”

“Zoey said we have a while. She was checking her when I got the alarm. I need to get back to her so let’s get this fucking show on the road.”

We watched as the signal met the trucks and they all died of electrical failure. One by one men piled out of the trucks in total confusion.

“Is it taking off yet?” Creed asked.

“Starting the engines now.” Price said.

“Send out the first wave but remind them to give little resistance. We want them through every barrier and walked toward the community center.” I ordered.

We watched on screen as our operatives came from everywhere. On top of the trees, behind trees, through what looked to be a utility building but led into a different tunnel from a separate bunker. It was set up to hold prisoners until the proper agency arrived for them. About a hundred men surrounded them. “Any injuries from the front gate?” Baros walked up beside me and asked.

“Price, can you confirm?”

“None to our operatives, a few bumps and bruises on our targets though.”

“How many?” I asked.

“We’ve counted forty three, sir.” Wilson said.

“They’ve gained some, I knew those fuckers met up with some group near here. They were obviously staying somewhere. Do you see any females?” I asked.

“Not so far.” Wilson answered.

“Wait, zoom in on that guy on the lower left, the one with the cut.” Creed ordered.

The camera zoomed in, and I think I might have swallowed my heart. The grim reaper with two automatic weapons on each side. “You have got to be fucking kidding me. Cartel Del Diablo, mother fuck!”

“Price, get Axel and Sniper on the line. Tell them their fight just came to us, and they know better than this shit. They shouldn’t have been able to cross the county line. Then get Doug on the line and let him know it’s go time. We’re likely to need homeland security and ICE here as well.” Creed ordered then looked at Bolton. “Where’s your man?”

“On duty, I’ll call him.”

Every state cop in the area, the SWAT team, and county cop was just about to team up with the Fallen Angels and Satan’s Disciples.

“Are we cleared topside?” I yelled out as I watched our operative’s inch closer to the intruders.

“Yes, but our North and South gates are being surrounded. Jesus Christ, there must be at least…a hundred and fifty more. All Cartel and other MC’s.” Price said.

“Tell those posts little resistance. I want all of them inside these gates. Irons is ready to go on the chopper. I’ll send him to the north gate after he does a scan of the local roads.” Creed said. “Granger, get out to the South gate.” Granger took off for our weapons locker.

Creed sent out a signal to all operatives to form at the armory. “East gate now, at least a hundred more.”

“Jesus Christ, they brought the entire fucking Cartel to Indiana. What the fuck? Get General Pennington on the line. Have him activate the National guard for cleanup. Once they breach the gates, the law is on our side. Also, ask for clearance to shut down cell towers, we don’t need the media hearing anything. Have the national guard create a military zone around us.” Creed ordered.

“I want the cult members weeded out as much as possible, and I want the top five Cartel. All alive, but secured.” I ordered. “But if they don’t stand down, take a shot, but do not engage outside our perimeter.” I ordered after I put a headset on. So much for a Merry Christmas, fucking bastards. We could have them all wiped out in a matter of minutes, but I wanted the cult members and those top five Cartel sick fucks. Those guys were on the terror watch list and worth a hell of a lot of money.

I ran my fingers through my hair then looked at a prospect waiting for orders. “Go to my apartment and stand outside the door. I don’t want Belle getting curious and leaving that apartment. The last thing she needs is to step in here and see what was going to be happening on these screens. These people are her family and there’s a chance they have her mother.”

He took off for the apartment.

“What do you see up there, Irons?” Creed asked over the headset.

“I don’t see any other motorcycles or trucks for miles. They put all their eggs in one basket. It’s 2 am and there’s no vehicles on the roads.” Irons answered.

“How are the first line defense operatives? Any injuries?”

A voice came over from the North gate. “We had to step up resistance. They were suspecting we wanted them inside. It was too easy, and they caught on. No operative injuries so far, but can’t say the same about them.” Niemen said.

“South gate is clear, all vehicles down at second line of defense.” Garcia said. The disabling electrical signal was still going out and working.

“Gate shut and electrified?” I asked.

“10-4.”

“Units in position?” I asked.

“10-4 all gates.”

“Doug has ordered to spare as many as possible. He’s sending units from Versailles, Indy, and Madison. Will deploy Richmond if needed.” Price said.

“Pennington is deploying the Madison National Guard. Will be a few hours.” Wilson said.

“Creed, Military Intelligence is on the line.” Barker yelled out and Creed went to take the call.

“Fuck it, those gangs aren’t here legally, we can fuck them up.” Magnus typed something into the computer.

“I repeat myself, spare the cult members.” I yelled into the headset when gunfire rang out.

“Cartel are shoot to kill! State superintendent wants most left alive, but we will not sacrifice our operatives for that objective!” Magnus ordered.

I paced as I watched the screens. Our operatives were walking the intruders from the main gate toward the community center. I suspected that was where most of the cult was, and that group was secure without much of a fight. “Put cult members in bunker A and away from the gunfire. Look for a Jeremiah Brown and separate him from his followers. Take any MC members, I don’t care who they belong to, and line them up against Wall A.” I ordered then flipped the screens myself to the other gates. I watched as some of the MC members tried to retreat but were electrified at the outer gate and fell to the ground. “Look at these fuckers. They had no idea who they were fucking with.” I laughed. “They’re dead.” I meant it when I said we were a safe place for Belle.

I looked at a prospect. “Please check on my wife and tell her everything is going to be okay. I’m doing what I can to keep her family safe.” Not that I cared if they lived or died, but my wife would have, and I’d do it for her. I wanted Jeremiah Brown for myself though, we had a few things to discuss.

“Sniper is on the line.” Price said.

“Put him through on speaker.”

I waited for a moment then heard him on the line. “Sniper, it’s Axton. What do you have for us?”

“We met a few stragglers. Didn’t know what to do with the dumb fucks that rode their bikes in a snowstorm and crashed. Really? Is this the kind of idiots we are working with? We are seeing crowns and roses tattoos, what do you think?”

I laughed. “They weren’t prepared for their trip north. Let me guess, Tren Aragua and we have ourselves some Venezuelan prisoners sent up to harass our law-abiding citizens. That snowstorm just may have been our first defense.” They were a nasty group, literally the worst of the worst serving time for heinous crimes, but Venezuela thought they be cute and have them cross our borders. We were already getting some contract requests for them, so they might have been worth something too. “Keep them and make yourselves a few bucks.” They had likely been in the area for a while, and were die hard bikers. They probably didn’t have trucks or other vehicles.

“Might just do that, thanks. We are fully mobilized and meeting the Angels in about fifteen. Where do you want us?”

“Meet up with Darren Rossi. He will want help with patrol around the county and maybe surrounding areas. He’s about to end his career as sheriff with a bang. I’m looking forward to seeing the front page with you and him shaking hands.” I chuckled.

“He deserves it, a good man. I’ll give him a call.”

“By the time you get here it’s going to be all cleanup. The dumb fucks crossed our gates.” I said.

“Hell is going to be busy with intakes tonight.” He chuckled.

“I’ll see you soon, Sniper.” I typed on the keyboard to look at the gates. I tried to see every member to make sure there weren’t any cult members. “We need to end what’s on the north gate. They’re all useless. Irons, get it done. It’s getting too brutal to watch.”

“10-4.”

“North Gate, retreat! We are ending it.” I yelled into my headset to warn them.

I watched on camera as our operatives ceased engaging and ran for cover. Irons and our cavalry team reigned hellfire down on them. If we weren’t on the Cartels radar, we were starting at that moment. Hell, probably the Mexican Mafia and every other evil group infiltrating the open border. Everyone clapped and shouted out Irons name. He did it without causing us any major damage. It was damn impressive.

Granger was out at the south gate, so I switched my screen over. They were under heavy gunfire. “Irons go to the South gate and end that one as well.”

“10-4 sweet cheeks.”

I rolled my eyes. He had been calling me that since I retired the beard.

Creed walked back over. “Military Intelligence will be here in the morning to do a full assessment.” They weren’t exactly our biggest fans, but we were serving out their contracts. Nice of them to wait until we were under attack to let us know with less than 24 hours’ notice.

Creed took over Price’s screen and looked at the west gate himself and laughed. “West gate seems to be secure, I’ll zoom out to make sure. They’ve got them rounded up and they’re about to start marching them in. Damn, those guys don’t seem to have given much of a fight. They thought they were paying a little visit to a fancy MC.”

“Wilson, any injuries on our end?” I asked.

“A few.”

I turned to another prospect. “Have Zoey and her team ready under the medical center.” We had a small bunker under the medical center that was accessible by the main bunker exactly for that reason.

“Creed, go on and be with Morgan. We’ve got it from here.” He was gone before I even had the sentence completed. I paid close attention to Irons. I knew he was ready to end it because Wrenly was out on SWAT, and he didn’t want her storming in the gates. She would have been commanding the team since Darren had his sheriff hat on.

I watched as Irons took care of the MC’s that refused to back down. The room cried out in cheer as he once again perfectly reigned hell down on them.

“They didn’t know who they were fucking with!” I laughed and so did everyone else. It was over, now it was time to deal with the cult and the cleanup. I was pretty sure ICE would be arriving to take America’s most uninvited guests away. Honestly, I would have rathered ending them, over trusting the current executive administration wouldn’t just release them.
