5. MOVING IN
Today was the first day of our deal. I went to my apartment and got myself my important stuff . But I knew I needed more clothes if I have to act like CHRISTIAN KNIGHT'S future wife. I took my things and dropped them at Christian's house. When I reached there Blue was crying heavily....
"What happened ? Why are you crying baby?"
"Mam she bumped her leg on the table and now she is hurt." The staff said.
"Ohh my poor Blue..don't worry I got this"
"Can you bring me an ice pack ?" I asked the staff and took Blue to her room . She stopped crying when I picked her up in my arms but her foot was swollen but it was normal.
The servant bought an ice pack and I massaged Blue's swollen foot.
She was the most beautiful child in the universe and specially her eyes that she inherited from her father.
Christian is my husband to me I don't how it is going to be his wife.
Weird maybe . But as long as I have Blue with me I can conquer anything.
Few minutes later Blue fell asleep on the bed and I left the room.
When I got down the stairs I heard a car engine bursting and I knew it was Christian.
"What the hell did you do to my daughter? I am paying such hefty salaries not for just sitting and watching my daughter get hurt. " Christian yelled at the staff.
"Christian....calm down . Blue is totally fine. She just bumped herself on the table. I gave her first aid and now she is sleeping." I said.
"I want to see her with my own eyes...where is she ?"
He ran towards the stairs and I tried to pull him down by holding his arm but I was too weak infront of those biceps. He opened the door carefully and saw his daughter sleeping safe and sound.
"Thank you Sarah. "
"For taking my own daughter's care. Christian you have to trust me when I saw Blue is fine. You can't just quit your meetings and come home everytime for a minor inconvenience to Blue. She is a growing baby and when she plays or walks these things happen and that's very normal."
"Sarah I understand you but Blue is my most precious thing. I can't even imagine if something happened to her."
"And I won't let anything happen to her. Take my word Christian. I don't know about being a good wife but I will be the best mother."
"You sure will be."
We came back down and Christian saw my stuff lying in the living room.
"Welcome to your new house Sarah."
"Haha....thanks Christian. "
Christian was about to leave the house for his meeting when a cheerful voice came from the entrance...
"Christian my baby...how are you? I missed you so much sweetheart " the voice belonged to an aged lady in her 50's. But she was beautiful. I kinda guess she was his mother.
"Mom....why are you here?"
"What a rubbish question son...I am here to see you and my lovely grand daughter. "
She stepped inside the living area and her eyes fell on me.
"Who is this young pretty lady? Christian please introduce us "
"Sarah this is my mom and mom this is Sarah."
"Nice to meet you mam." I said to her
"Ohh my goodness you have no idea how delighted I am to see you Sarah. You are such a lovely girl."
"Mom....since you are here I wanted you to know that we are getting married." And the entire mansion was covered with drop dead silence. After a couple of minutes she said...
"Ohhhh myyy goddd.. Christian you are getting married. This is the best day of my life ever. Sarah I am so happy for both of you. You will make a wonderful couple."
"Thanks mam...we seek your blessings" I said.
"Dear they are always with you. I can't even express my gratitude for you Sarah. Your are the key element our family needed. And I can tell that you will be a great wife and mother."
"Okay mom...enough of the praises. Your driver is waiting for you. I will call you once we decide the wedding date."
"Bye bye my love birds . I will come back to help you with wedding preparations. See you Beautiful Sarah."
"Surely mam" She is such a wonderful happy and positive women. Totally opposite to Christian.
"My mom is a little dramatic. Don't mind her."
"Are you insane...she is the best mom." I said.
I saw Christian moving back to the house .
"You're not going back to the meeting.?"
"No Sarah...its 6 in the evening and now time is reserved for Blue."
"Okay great then take care of her for few hours. I am going to buy some dresses so that I look like your wife. I will be back soon."
His brows frowned and he came towards me slowly. I know I messed up something but what?
"It's 6 o clock Sarah and it's dark. And you were planning to go out without me?"
"I am not a baby Christian. I can take care of myself."
"I will come with you and that is not a question but an order."
"And you think I will take that order of yours."
"I don't think you have much choices wifey...so follow me."
And WIFEY was where I lost my battle of words. He held my hand and took me with him...
"Christian I don't have my purse and phone. Let me get it..."
"I have it Sarah"
Before I could say another word I was in his car in the passenger seat .
"Christian I am not going to buy anything from your money. So just stop the car and let me get my purse. "
"Husbands pay for theirs wife's shopping Sarah."
"I am not your wife yet and I don't take someone's money to shop."
"I am not someone I am your husband Sarah."
It was useless to argue with Christian because he doesn't listen he just announces his decision. But I am also stubborn I won't pick a thing from the store and come back emptyhanded.
The drive to the mall was silent . Only the near by cars honks could be heard.
We reached the mall and parked in the parking lot.
I stormed to the elevator but it was full on men.
I was about to enter inside it when Christian pulled me back and I banged on his chest. It was so hard and I could feel his muscles.
Hot was not even close of a word for this chest.
"What now?" I asked.
"Nothing" he replied.
"Why did you pull me out of the elevator?"
A deathly stare that ran through my body from the pair of ocean blue eyes. When the elevator doors closed he pushed me against the wall and his ocean eyes were on fire now. His hands around my arms and our lips few millimeters away.....when he said
"Sarah...don't test my patience. Me being nice to you doesn't mean I am a good person.
And untill this contract between us is over YOU BELONG TO ME and I hate when someone even look at what's mine.
You will be my within few days. Trust me wifey.
..you won't like my dark side at allll.. .." his fingers touching my cheeks.
"Christian....." I uttered
"Yes wifey"
"Are you threatening me?"
"It's my gentle warning Sarah....and I would hate myself if I have to be harsh on you. Am I clear ?"
"Yes" I said and he moved away. I took a deep breath which I didn't even know I was holding. He closed his fingers with mine and we took the stairs. The whole time my gaze was fixed on our hands locked. What happened in the last 10 minutes confirmed that Christian is a devil in spawn.
We reached the shopping floor of the mall and walked towards the GIVENCHY store when I stopped walking and his gaze averted towards me.
"I am not going to shop from this store. It's awfully expensive Christian. We can get something cheaper."
"I am paying Sarah...don't worry about the money just chose what you want."
"It doesn't matter whose money it is. But wasting it like this is not a good option . Let's buy from forever 21 or zara or HM. "
"Sarah williams can buy those clothes but my wife.
...SARAH KNIGHT cannot. "
A blush of tomato red spread on my face when I heard SARAH KNIGHT.
This was actually happening in a few days.
But I agree to Christian. I have to play the role of his wife and it would look weird if a billionaire's wife is wearing forever 21.
"Ok fine but only 1 dress from here and rest from somewhere else."
He nodded and again closed our fingers together.
"To what do I owe this please Mr. Knight. It's been a while since you came for shopping." And now I was sure he didn't came here alone.
"Hey Alex....this is"
"Cassie...right I remember from the last time." And here it is. A truth bomb that was my weapon. Christian passed a smirk to him and continued..
"No Alex...this is Sarah. She is my fiance. " and Alex's face turned pale yellow as he now realized that he messed up.
"I....I am so sorry Ms. Sarah. I confused you with someone else."
"No worries Mr. Alex it's definitely not you who is at fault. People do get confused when they have too many clients to remember." I said sarcastically and Christian's eyes locked with mine.
"Show the latest dresses to my FIANCE SARAH. " he said to Alex and Alex left immediately.
"Cassie ha?" I asked.
"Sarah I am sorry....she was..."
"Spare me the details Christian. All men are the same."
"Jealous?" He asked.
"Exact same feeling you had at the elevator. Call it whatever you want. "
"That's called possession "he took a step forward to me and I tip toed to reach his ear.....
"You remember what you said to me earlier "you belong to me Sarah until this contract is over" same rules apply to you hubby. I am your wife and I have my weapons that I don't wanna use on my beloved husband." I whispered in his ear and gave a small kiss on his temple.
This is a game and rules apply to everyone.
"It's gonna be fun with you wifey." He hissed .
The store manager brought some dresses and after arguing for about 20 minutes we bought 12 dresses from Chanel,dior , gucci and many other designsers.
This was the most expensive trip I ever had.
After all that we were hungry and went to home because none of us like the mall food.
The servants served the dinner and I did a little fashion show of what I bought today for Christian and Blue.
Lastly we went to our rooms and sleep took over.
