prologue

Reyansh and Ritika have known each other for 1 year. Ritika joined his office 1 year ago and now they are madly in love with each other as he thinks.

Ritika had met his family and Vihaan but they never liked her. They can feel that she is not like this as she is trying to show. Vihaan also told Reyansh to stay away from her but he was so madly in love with her that he never listened to him and today he is going to propose to her.

Currently, He was sitting at their favorite cafe waiting for her. He was quite nervous about his confession. His mind was filled with every possibility including fear of rejection.

He loves her. She is his type of girl. Sweet, caring, confident and ambitious and she will be his, completely his today.

"I can do this" He encouraged himself. "But where is she? Why is she taking so long or I am too eager to make her completely mine? But she is punctual and she can never be late. I had been waiting here for 2 hours. She had promised me that she would meet me at the cafe" He waited some more minutes.

After some time, Impatient, He called her but she didn't answer. A bad feeling crept into his mind.

"No Reyansh, she can never do this, she will come, she promised you"

He waited for the next few hours but she didn't come and did not answer his calls. This made him even more worried.

And suddenly a message popped up on his phone's screen. It was from an unknown number.

"Reyansh i had never loved you, i was with you because of your money, you mean nothing to me, i'm going, don't search for me. RITIKA"

"NO! She can't be Ritika, No! She loves me, I trust her, she can't be Ritika, she will come" He started walking back and forth and minutes turned into hours and she never came. By each passing second something inside him was broken.

He was not ready to believe that she had never loved him. His heart was not ready to accept this. He kept trying to call her but she didn't answer one of his calls.

"No, she can't do this, my Ritika can't do this, she loves me. She can't do this to me. No!"

He lost his senses in anger and started shouting and damaging the property. The cafe's owner knows him and Vihaan because they often come here so he called Vihaan. After some time Vihaan reached there.

"Sir, please cool down," The cafe's owner told him.

"Reyansh, what are you doing? what happened?" Vihaan worriedly asked him as he saw him but he didn't answer and walked towards the car. Vihaan went after him after saying sorry to the owner.

He sat in the driver's seat and started driving. He didn't know where he was going but he kept driving. He was driving very fast.

"Reyansh stop the car, you are not in your senses. Reyansh stop, please Reyansh. God dammit! Stop and tell me what happened" he shouted. "Is this because of her?" he asked.

"How can she do this to me?" He said after pulling the brakes of the car and showing Ritika's message to him. “She loved me naa then how could she say that she had never loved me? I mean nothing to her" He said getting out of the car as he was feeling suffocated.

"She was always like this Reyansh but you always refused to see her side. I have told you a thousand times that she is with you for your money, stay away from her but you never listened to me and see what happened"

He was not in a condition to listen to him further.

His words were like needles to him so he left from there.

In Reyansh's room, everything was broken and shattered, even a big mirror was broken into pieces like his heart.

He was lying on the bed and looking at the ceiling.

His face was devoid of any emotion thinking of the message he received while returning home.

"By the time you will receive this message I will be gone. I know you loved me but I had never loved you. Love means nothing to me. It's not difficult for me to deceive you. Love can be blind i have heard but you proved it by trusting blindly. I have nothing to do with you. Goodbye"

He rechecked the number if it was Ritika or not but no matter how many times he rechecked it was her.

The last hope he had on Ritika was destroyed by her message. Tears kept flowing from the corner of his eyes.

Flashback ends

"Everything was a lie, your love, your care, you, Everything. Do I mean nothing to you? Why Ritika? why? you did this to me, does money matter more than my feelings for u? I was not enough?"He said in a broken voice.

"It's hurting. It's hurting very much. You won't come like before? Why do you come now? You never cared for me. It was all drama. The only thing that matters to you is money"

He took his phone with the photo of Ritika and threw it on the wall causing it to break in pieces like his heart. He loved her immensely and she played with his feelings.

That night changed everything, old Reyansh was gone, who used to be calm and patient. Now it's the new Reyansh who is totally opposite.

The next day without thinking much he took his flight to Italy to escape from all the thoughts and engaged himself in work.

"Aaru(Arya)do you know this place is haunted?"Arohi asked. "Yes I know, it is ranked number one" She nodded. They were currently at bhangarh fort which is No 1 haunted place in all over india.

"Still it is beautiful, I always wanted to visit this place," Arohi said. "Yes, it is very beautiful"

"Hey Aaru, let's have a competition till

that tree up there the one who loses will do anything the winner says for 24 hours"

"No, it's already too late and it is going to be dark soon," Arya said. "Why are you frightened?" Arohi smirked.

"Yes, but not dark from Papa. There are already two calls from Papa. We have to leave"

Her dad is very strict and She got permission to visit this place on the condition to come back early.

"Let's leave," Arya said. "Okay, just 2 minutes, I have to carry my bag then we will leave" She nodded and Arohi left.

Arya was standing there waiting for Arohi when she heard the sound of a bike. She just loves bikes. She turned her gaze and found the bike and a boy who was sitting on the bike. He was talking with someone.

He was wearing a mask so she couldn't see his face clearly but his perfect body, messy hair and his eyes are just breathtaking. She was just lost in his eyes.

"I didn't knew ghosts are handsome" Arohi whispered but her eyes didn't leave his figure.

Curiosity took over her, she just wanted to see his face. She took a few slow steps towards him, at that time she had no control over herself. it felt like he was dragging her towards him.

"Aaru...I think he is really a ghost, I mean just look at you...you are walking towards him" Arohi’s words landed her back from her world and she paused on her steps.

"No way I was going towards him, I was just.."

"just?"

"Just..."

"Just what?".

"Just nothing, leave it. Did you carry your bag?" Arya asked, diverting her attention.

"Yes," Arohi answered.

“Okay, let's go" she turned her heel but deep down she wished she could see him.

Arohi’s phone rang and she picked it up "Just 2 minutes Aaru" she left to the corner. Arya could hear the sound of the bike but every time it was fading away maybe he left. She turned her heel to look at the place where he was standing.

Unfortunately he was gone but there was something fallen on the ground.

She took big steps and picked it up. It was a bracelet. She was looking around in the hope that she could meet his owner but there was no sign of him.

"Since you are abundant should I keep you"

"Aaru, let's go" she heard Arohi’svoice and turned towards her after keeping the bracelet in her bag.

The moon was bright and the stars were shining. She was standing in front of the window admiring the moon and thinking about that boy.

It was just like a dream. A boy came on his bike and a girl saw him. She was in love at first sight and he went but left his one sign.

"What? What do I think, love at first sight? Am I really in love at first sight? but I don't even know him, Or it can be an attraction, I don't know" she took that bracelet from her bag. It was a black color bracelet with an infinity sign and the letter R on it.

'So his name starts with the letter R.'

At that time Aohi called her so she hurriedly put the bracelet in her bag and couldn't see it properly but when she saw it now, she was completely lost in his thoughts.
