"Let it be"
Arya looked at him In disbelief. How could he think of letting it go? It is not like something happened, but what if It did? Would he still have let it go?
"What the fuck is let it be. Are you realising what you're blabbering about? How the hell can you let him go." Aryan spat in anger. Arya looked at her brother with teary eyes, asking him to stop.
"Aryan please"
"Aj use zinda nahi chodunga," Aryan yelled, fisting his palms in anger.
"Aur tu. Kha gya Tera gussa? Ese to bahut gussa aata hai na, The Reyansh Shekhawat ko? Aaj kya hua?" He looked at him angrily and Reyansh knew he was ready to punch him.
(And you, Where's your aggression? The Reyansh Shekhawat, who have anger issues right. What happened today?)
Arya stood up from the bed and walked to her brother.
"Aryan" She mumbled and looked at her husband, who was staring blankly at the ground. As if he didn't care about anything at all.
“Don’t look at him. It looks like He doesn't give a damn about what happened." Aryan said, glaring at Reyansh who walked out of the room without a word.
Aryan looked at his disappearing figure and clenched his jaw. He looked at his sister who had teary eyes. Staring at her husband who went away, just like that.
"Aaru, you okay right? Did he do something?" She shook her head at her brother's question and he wiped her Tears.
“you go, I'll freshen up and will join you all." She mumbled before walking into the washroom.
Aryan couldn't leave his sister alone. Taking out his phone, he dialed Arav's number and asked him to come upstairs with Arohi since he had to take care of someone else. Arohi also came with them.
When Arav and Arohi arrived, Aryan walked out of the room. Taking a deep breath, He looked around and saw Reyansh coming from the other direction. Gritting his teeth, he took immediate steps in his direction and pulled him away from the sight of everyone.
"The fuck you're up to?" He held his collar and growled in anger.
"My sister is your wife? Do you fucking care about it or not? Huh? How can you let him go like that without beating him to death? But wait, wait, Reyansh Shekhawat does not give a fuck about anyone Right?, whether it's his wife or his best friend," Reyansh stared at his...Bestfriend.
Vihaan, who came here and saw them, quickly went towards them and held Aryan's wrist to free his collar.
"Aryan, what were you doing?" Vihaan yelled at him.
"What am I doing? Ask him what he is doing today and till now.
What is he doing? Just running from everything and fucking disappearing like he didn't even exist and didn't even bother to tell anyone and suddenly reappearing as my sister's fiance," Aryan Snapped at him, and they both knew he was not talking about today but about two years back.
The thing is Reyansh, Vihaan and Aryan were best friends more like brothers since college.
They were very close to each other. They shared everything.
Although Aryan was 3 years younger than them they were always together in every situation.
Even after graduating, they didn't leave each other's side.
They always had time for each other. One day Reyansh introduced Ritika to them as his girlfriend.
He said he loved her. It was hard for them to believe because Reyansh Shekhawat, as they used to tease him, could do anything but love. This is not his type.
Vihaan and Aryan always find Ritika strange.
They even try to Say to Reyansh, but Reyansh doesn't believe them, and he believes Ritika.
As time passed by, their doubt about Ritika increased, but Reyansh never believed them.
Finally, one day, when Reyansh was going to propose to her, reality dawned upon him and as you know, Reyansh went to Italy without telling Aryan, and he was so busy with his sorrow that he forgot about his brothers who were worried about him.
They tried to contact him, but he never answered their calls or replied to them. And now he knows he fucked up.
"Aryan I.. "Reyansh tried to say but was cut off. He knew it was frustration of two years, he had to let it out.
"Shut up"
"Did you even think once that I should tell Aryan?
No, you didn't think it necessary and just went.
You were busy, right.. you didn't have one minute to call us and say yes, I am fine.
We were so stupid that we were worried for you.
For someone who didn't care about anyone and what a fucking audacity of you to come back and behave like nothing happened" He finished feeling nothing but anger towards him.
"I am sorry. I am sorry for everything I did, for not listening to both of you, not trusting you, for not telling you.
I am sorry. I know I am wrong. I know all of you were just worried, but I didn't want to talk to anyone.
I just wanted some time," No matter how cold he showed he was.
His best friends know he is not. He is not someone who made a mistake and doesn't dare to accept it.
He has courage. He knew he was at fault.
They all were just worried for him, but he just ignored them.
"And that sometime took you two fucking years. Leave it. Just leave it. Tell me one thing, why did you marry Arya? It's not like you love her or something. Why did you marry her?"He gritted his teeth.
"Maa forced me"
"What? Are you serious? You are not someone who will agree with anyone no matter how much they force you" His jaw tightened.
"That someone is Maa Aryan and you know I can't deny her"
"Right, you can't deny your mother then you decided to destroy my sister's life," he snarled at him.
"Divorce her"
He said after some moments of silence. Reyansh jerked his head up hearing his words.
"Kya bakwas kar raha hai," Vihaan snapped, eyeing Reyansh, who clenched his jaw.
(What rubbish.)
"I'm being practical. Isn't it ? Both of them didn't want the marriage but had to only because both were forced. It's better if both of them get divorced-”
Before another word could leave his throat, Reyansh walked to him furiously and held the collar of his shirt.
"Who the hell are you to decide about my relationship?" He gritted his teeth, looking at Aryan with anger and rage.
"Reyansh" Vihaan came in between and tried to pull Reyansh away.
"Her brother," Replied Aryan with a smirk. Reyansh let go of him when Vihaan yanked him away. Coughing a little Aryan mouthed further.
"Not like this relationship means anything to you. Better free her and live your own life as well." Vihaan facepalmed himself, listening to Aryan.
"I swear, I'll beat the shit out of you if you don't stop with this nonsense," Reyansh growled, fuming with anger. He didn't know why he was feeling so much anger just thinking of Divorce.
Yes, he never wanted this marriage, and if anyone had told him to divorce her month ago, he would have done it without a second thought, but now things have changed. And just thinking of it, he is feeling rage.
"Why does she mean so much to you that you can't let her go?"
Reyansh stared at the man for a few seconds before turning around to walk away because he didn't have the answer to it, and the two men followed him behind.
Aryan walked to him and pulled him by his collar.
"Enough of you. You didn't love her, nor are you agreeing to divorce her. What the fuck do you want? You don't love her, right?" Reyansh yanked away his hands, running out of his thread-like patience.
"Because I don't know. I don't fucking know what I want. I want her, but also, I don't. I want to love her but I can't. I just can't" He shouted.
A few minutes of silence filled the air as Aryan stared at Reyansh, who pushed his hair back after rubbing his palms over his face.
Vihaan, who was standing there silently, looked at Aryan.
"Do you still love her?"
