30.
The car stopped at the entrance of the Mansion. Reyansh Aryan and vihaan walked out.
Moving inside, Vihaan, moved to the kitchen, hoping that something would be there for eating. While Reyansh looked around to spot Arya.
They were back from shopping. As they have informed them on their way back.
"She must be in the room," Aryan said and walked towards the kitchen as well.
"Khana to kha liya hoga na Usne?" He questioned himself and looked at the time. It was half past eleven, so he was hoping that she might have eaten something.
He moved to his room since Everyone was tired, so it was suggested that they all should stay for the night after having breakfast in the morning. Everyone will move back.
He moved inside his room but stood at the threshold of the door. His eyes fell on the balcony where she was standing.
He moved towards her and stood behind her. Sensing someone's presence she looked back and saw her husband. His eyes met Arya's. She was looking pale and her eyes were moistened as if she was on the verge of crying.
'Shit, shit, shit! You fucking messed up Reyansh. Tu use Bina bataye chala gya. Fuck me.'
Realization hit him like a truck, but gulping down, he took a step forward and stood beside her.
"Did you eat?" He asked, hesitantly.
"You left me." His heart sank into the pit of his stomach hearing her words. He stopped in his tracks while she stared at him, her eyes slowly pooling with fresh tears again.
And he realized it was a lot more than informing her about where he was going.
"I-L..." He swallowed. He couldn't form any words because, in his anger, he forgot that she might need him more than anyone else. Yes, she was with her friends and trying her best to look normal in front of them, but he knew she was not normal, And still, he left without informing her.
"Something came up." He mumbled, She blinked her Tears away before nodding her head.
"I'm sorry." He said looking at her.
"I understand." Her words were hoarse as if she was holding herself back from crying.
"No. You don't have to understand. You can scold me, shout at me for leaving you alone." He mumbled, feeling guilty.
"Do you think I didn't figure out where you were?"A shock passed through his eyes listening to her but soon changed into a smirk.
He slipped more closer to her leaving space only for air to pass through them. "And how did you figure that out?"
"I might have heard you talking over the phone about taking care of Sathvik when you thought I was deep in sleep."
He was shocked to hear this new information.
"While I was confused about your words I understood the very next day when you three suddenly went out. I wasn't wrong anyway. And I understood the meaning behind your words." She said and her hands went to her cheeks unknowingly.
Reyansh took a deep breath. "Did you tell someone about that man?" He questioned her.
Arya scooted closer to him touching her body to his completely while he caressed her head.
Taking a deep breath she started.
"When it happened for the first time, The only thing I knew was that his closeness was not normal.
It sent a shiver down my spine. It scared me to stay in the same place with him alone.
At first, it was just words that turned into actions, don't know when?
" A sad smile was intact on her face which broke Reyansh's heart
"I knew these words, harassment, bad touch, bad sight but suddenly I experienced it. And I also got to know that no one would trust me. Because I had no proof against him"
"You never tried to tell anyone?" He asked
"I passed out when I gained consciousness. Everyone was present there. I told them, but they didn't say anything. They love their reputation so they didn’t want it to come in front of the world so they didn’t take any actions.
And after that night everything changed.
They always see me with accusing eyes. After all, he was proven right.
..." She paused and Reyansh looked at her with confusion about the last statement.
He was about to ask when she continued.
"He said that no one will believe me after all. I..am...g-girl, and there is always the mistake of girls in our society, right..?
At first, I didn't believe him, thinking that they were my family. They would believe me, but I was proven wrong when they believed a stranger over their daughter." Till now, tears were streaming down her face.
"It was painful," She said with a low voice, still sobbing. Reyansh pulled her into his embrace. Reyansh was glad she was opening up to him but he didn't want to see her like this. His hatred for Arya's so-called family and Sathvik was growing every second.
"Arya," He called after some moments of silence. Arya's head was placed on his chest, listening to his steady heartbeat. Her hands were tightly wrapped around his torso while Reyansh's one hand was caressing her hair and the other was around her waist, keeping her close.
"Hmm"
"Did he...... did he ever cross the limit?" He asked.
"I asked him but I want to confirm with you." He further added, "And if he would have lied to me, I wouldn't have waited for a second before killing...." He said but stopped.
Arya looked at the man, at her safe place. She knew there was no need to hide anything when he already knew the story.
"No May be blessings of God I was always safe from him some how "
Reyansh just pulled her close if there was still some space between them now that is gone."I am sorry I couldn't protect you earlier." He said that his heart was feeling physical pain on hearing her sharing one of the most horrifying experiences of her life.
She looked up from the hug and smiled at him "Thank you. Thank you for pulling me out of that never-ending loop and making me believe that not all men are the same."
She put her hand on his face and smiled "Thank you for trusting me." She felt like a heavy weight was lifted from her shoulders. She was feeling light; however, It was a good idea to leave it out after so many years of suffering.
Yes, it hurt her that her family didn't believe her, but she was happy that Reyansh believed her.
Reyansh just looked at her and gave a chaste kiss on her forehead.
"Your husband is always with you no matter what the situation is.
For me you are important. I will trust you over a thousand people out there.
" He said, but Arya's mind stuck at the word husband because it was the first time he had ever called him her husband. It sounds good.
None of them realized their position. They were close like they had never. They parted, a slight blush covering Arya's cheek. She looked ahead, unable to look into his alluring eyes. He smiled looking at her frustrated state.
"Are you happy...?" He asked. Arya looked at him in confusion, unable to process the words that were suddenly thrown. So he asked again.
"Are you happy with me?"
