34. Alexander #3

“That’s fair.” I kissed her shoulder, her arm, her wrist. “But you’ll forgive me in about thirty seconds.”

I lowered myself down her body, trailing kisses as I went. Her stomach, her hip, the soft skin of her inner thigh. She trembled as I moved closer to where she wanted me, her hands finding my hair and gripping tight.

“Please,” she said again, and this time I didn’t make her wait.

My mouth closed over her clit, and she cried out, her back arching off the bed.

I licked into her, sucked her clit, fucked her with my tongue and worshipped her with endless patience while she rode my face.

She was close again within moments, thighs clamping around my head, her breath coming in short, sharp gasps.

This time I didn’t stop.

She came against my mouth, grinding her cunt into my tongue, her whole body shaking and my name spilling from her lips in a sound that was half sob, half prayer, while I licked her through every last pulse.

I held her through it, gentling her down, letting her catch her breath before I moved back up her body.

“That was…” She blinked at me, dazed. “That was…”

“Worth waiting for?”

“I’m reserving judgment until I can form complete sentences.”

I laughed and kissed her, letting her taste herself on my lips. She pulled me closer, her legs wrapping around my waist, and I felt myself press against her entrance.

“Now?” I asked.

“Now. Please, Alex. I need you inside me.”

I lined my cock up and sank into her slowly, inch by inch, watching her face as I filled her. She was so wet I slid in to the hilt in one long push, her eyes fluttering closed, her lips parting on a sigh, and I held myself buried deep once I was fully seated, just feeling her clench around me.

“Stay with me,” I said. “Open your eyes.”

She opened her eyes.

“I love you,” I told her. “I love you more than I have words for. I love who you were and who you’ve become, and I love that you’re not finished yet. And I’m going to spend the rest of my life showing you what that means.”

“Show me now.” Her hands gripped my shoulders. “Show me everything.”

I moved.

Slowly at first, savoring every sensation. The heat of her. The way she clenched around me. The sounds she made, soft and desperate, urging me deeper. I built a rhythm, reading her body, adjusting to what she needed.

“You feel incredible,” I said. “You always have, but tonight… tonight is different.”

“How?”

“Tonight I know you’re mine. Not just for now. Not just for this moment. Forever.”

“We’re not married yet.”

“We will be.” I thrust deeper, making her gasp. “One day. Whenever you’re ready. And until then, I’ll keep showing you what you mean to me.”

“You’re doing a very good job of showing.”

“I’m just getting started.”

I increased my pace, driving into her with an urgency that matched the pounding of my heart. She met me thrust for thrust, her nails raking down my back, her moans growing louder.

“Harder,” she breathed. “I won’t break.”

I fucked her harder, faster, everything I had pouring into her, the bed frame knocking the wall, her tits bouncing with every thrust. She was close again, I could feel it in the way her pussy fluttered and gripped, the way her breath broke on every stroke.

I got a hand between us and pinned my thumb to her clit.

“Let go,” I told her. “I’ve got you.”

“I can’t…”

“You can. Let go, Sophia. I’m right here.”

She came for the second time with a wail, her cunt clamping down and convulsing around my cock, and that was it for me. I slammed in to the hilt and came so hard I saw stars, spilling into her in thick pulses while she wrung every last drop out of me, her name and mine tangled together in the dark.

We collapsed together, breathless and trembling. I rolled to the side, pulling her against my chest, and we lay there in silence, hearts pounding in unison.

“That was…” she started.

“I know.”

“I can’t believe we didn’t do this sooner.”

“We’ve done this plenty of times.”

“Not like that.” She raised her head to look at me. “That was different.”

“I know.” I brushed the hair back from her face. “Everything’s different now.”

“Because of the marriage talk?”

“Because of everything. Because we’re not afraid anymore. Because we finally trust each other enough to be completely present.”

She settled back against my chest, her fingers tracing patterns on my skin. “I’m glad you were looking at rings.”

“You are?”

“I’m glad you want to marry me.” She traced a slow line down my sternum. “Even if I’m not ready yet. It matters, knowing you’re thinking about it. Knowing you want that future with me.”

“I want every future with you.”

“Even the ones with cufflinks in the refrigerator?”

“Especially those.”

She laughed, the sound vibrating against my chest. “You’re impossible.”

“You love it.”

“I do.” She pressed a kiss to my shoulder. “I really do.”

We fell asleep tangled together, and I dreamed of futures I’d been too scared to imagine. White dresses and golden rings and promises spoken in front of everyone we loved. Not yet, maybe. But someday.

Someday would be enough.
