Prologue

Torrential Rain struck, my best friend Xu Hui believed the Apocalypse had arrived and decided to go to the Zero-Yuan Purchase at the mall.

I urged her to wait a bit longer and not to believe the novels.

Social order was still in place, and what we were doing was essentially breaking in.

Xu Hui listened to me and indeed didn't go.

But the neighbors returned with a lot of supplies from the Zero-Yuan Purchase, eating and drinking well.

Xu Hui hated me for blocking her path to being the protagonist and pushed me off the top floor to drown in the rain.

When I opened my eyes again, I was back on the first day of the Torrential Rain.
