Chapter 9 Office Confrontation
After she walked in, she stared at the prenatal report on my desk.
She smiled distantly.
"President Liao doesn't need to watch me this closely."
I lit a cigarette.
She frowned and stepped back.
"I'm pregnant, President Liao. I hope you can show some respect."
Respect?
I twisted the cigarette butt and looked up at her. "College student, was your major destroying other people's families?"
She flushed red from my words.
But immediately straightened her back again.
"At the beginning, I didn't want this."
The implication was that Bian Yi had chased her relentlessly.
"So what? If you didn't want it, why didn't you call the police?"
Bai Xiaofu seemed a little shocked.
"If I had called the police, your husband might be in prison right now."
"So you didn't call the police, turned him into your A Yi, and now you're not satisfied playing with A Yi—you brought this piece of rotten flesh here to force a takeover?"
Her face changed.
She tightly protected her lower abdomen and raised her voice.
"The child is innocent! Ms. Liao, between us adults, please don't curse my baby!"
I laughed.
"A whore who still wants a memorial tablet.
"Just say it. What did you come here for today?"
Bai Xiaofu's expression shifted several times.
Until I lost patience.
"A Yi said you already can't have children!"
