Chapter 10 #2
I cry out when he sucks the swollen bud in and flicks it with his tongue. An electrical pulse zings through my body, as if bringing me to life for the first time. Before today, I was just existing. Now, I’m alive.
I’m panting as he switches to my other nipple. It’s impossible to remain still. I can’t help but squirm.
Blaze kisses a path down my stomach. He grips my inner thighs and presses them open wider before latching onto my clit and sucking hard.
I moan so loud it echoes in the room. He’s eating my pussy. It’s mind-boggling. When his tongue reaches into my tight channel, I try to buck my hips. It’s a good thing he has a hold on me, or I might have given him a fat lip.
The room is spinning. My body is wound so tight it’s going to explode. So much sensation. I fist my hands around the T-shirt as he sucks my clit again.
It’s like I’m climbing up, up, up, and suddenly, I’m at the top. I pause there in this weird state of bliss.
Limbo.
Floating.
And then I come apart at the seams. My body convulses as I reach orgasm. My pussy and clit throb. Waves and waves of the most intense pleasure I’ve ever felt.
I’m exhausted and limp and panting and grinning when it’s over. Marginally aware of Blaze wiping his mouth on the sheets before climbing back up to hover over me.
He’s grinning, too. “Fuck, you’re precious.”
I don’t know how to respond. I just stare at him in awe. He made me come. I’ve never even tried to make that happen. I didn’t realize how fucking mind-blowing it would be. If I’d known, perhaps I would have found a way to do that to myself before now.
“You’re mine, Vicky.” His voice is firm, demanding.
I giggle.
“I mean it.”
“You’ve known me less than a day. Most of that time I was sleeping.”
“Doesn’t matter. I knew you were mine from the moment I first saw you. Gut feeling. Intuition.”
“So it wasn’t the mansion, then,” I joke. “I hadn’t been to the mansion yet.”
He chuckles. “Definitely not the mansion. All that talk about Cupid and water is just superstitious bullshit. Like you said, you hadn’t even been here. Tell me you didn’t feel the pull between us the first time you wrapped your arms around my neck.”
“I felt it,” I admit.
“I’m going to fuck you with my tongue and my mouth ten times a day until you agree to marry me.”
I roll my eyes. “Or we could just have sex. Maybe use a condom.”
He shakes his head. “Nope.”
I can’t keep from giggling. It’s ludicrous, but he’s funny, and I feel warm all over. Maybe it’s from the orgasm. But I think I’ll always feel warm when I’m with this man.
As my awareness seeps in, I feel more self-conscious, and I lower my arms, bringing the tangled shirt in front of me. “Will you help me with this?” I ask, pulling my hands free.
“Not willingly,” he teases. But he does hop off the side of the bed, shake out the shirt, and bring it over my head. “I like you in my shirt, but I like you better naked.”
“Such a man.” I lift my ass and tug it under me. “Can you do something else for me?”
He tucks a pillow under my injured leg and pulls the covers up to my waist. “Anything. Always.”
“If you get my suitcase in from my car, I could actually put on my own clothes or at least some panties.”
Blaze smirks. “I’ll bring everything in from your car, baby, but I kind of like knowing your pussy is bare under my shirt.” He wiggles his brows before bending to kiss my forehead. “Get some more rest.”
“I slept for like fifteen hours.” It doesn’t seem like I should be tired. I think the reason I’m a limp noodle is that this man just gave me an amazing orgasm.
“You did, but before that, you had a stressful night alone in the fucking ravine.” He shudders. “I still can’t believe you were out in the elements all night. It hurts my heart. Thank fuck I found you yesterday, but I’m sorry I didn’t happen to hike that path the afternoon before.”
I grab his hand. “It’s not your fault. I’m the fool who went hiking alone.”
“What did I say about calling yourself names?”
Cocking my head to one side, I grin. “I believe you said you would spank me.” I clench my butt cheeks as the reminder makes my skin tingle.
His chuckle is deep and menacing. “As soon as you’re better, I will definitely spank you.” Blaze kisses my lips this time. “Rest. I need to touch base with my cousins and bring your stuff in.” He fusses around me, pulling the covers up higher and adjusting the pillows behind me.
“You don’t have to get everything. Just my suitcase would be nice.”
“Everything is coming in, baby. We’re not leaving your stuff in the car. This room, filled with ancient furniture, is yours now. I think it’s a rule. Once you scream out an orgasm, you can’t leave,” he teases.
“I didn’t scream.”
He laughs. “Oh, baby. You did. It was musical.”
I flinch. “How thin are these walls?”
“Pretty thin, but Haden is working on replacing the insulation soon.”
“Which one is Haden? I think I need a family tree. You said you’re the sixth cousin to arrive?”
“I am, but one of the grandkids who got here before me is a woman. Emilia. I’ll introduce you to everyone in a few days when your leg is stable enough for me to carry you downstairs, but Emilia arrived before me.
Haden is a contractor. Brody, another of my cousins, hired him to manage the renovations here at the estate.
He and Emilia were already acquainted before they got here.
Apparently, the two of them had been pining after each other for four years. Now they’re married.”
“And she’s pregnant, too? Is it true that every single woman is expecting?”
“Yep.”
I try to get my body to relax, but that’s heavy information. I just graduated from college. I certainly didn’t like the way David tried to order me to get an IUD so that my body would look attractive on his arm, but that doesn’t mean I want to get pregnant.
“Sleep, Vicky.”
I reach out for him before he can turn away. When he looks at me, I pull in a breath. “I hate the name Vicky.”
He cocks his head. “Is it not your name?”
“My mother named me Victoria. My stepmother started calling me Vicky after my dad died. She insisted it was a good nickname. She told all my teachers that I went by Vicky from the moment I started school.”
“Poof. I’ll never use it again. I’ll call you Victoria unless you decide you like a different nickname.”
Another wave of peace settles over me. I feel like I’m dumping my old, stupid life, and I suddenly grabbed onto a new one. Maybe I’m being ridiculous. The man barely knows me. He’s super confident that we’re meant to be together, but I’m not sure I trust that yet.
After kissing me again, he grabs some clothes from the dresser I still think is a valuable antique and heads into the bathroom.
I close my eyes, and I’m out so fast I don’t even see him return.
