Chapter 73
Sebastian
3 days later
“You never turned off the cameras in the vault,” Andre says casually while slipping me an SD card across the table at the local coffee shop. It's been a few days since our escapade and Riley is currently out with her sister Corrine and Kaz, having a “pampering session,” or whatever women do at the spa. Xavier eyes the SD card with interest.
“Did you watch it?” I ask Andre.
“Nah, not really my thing. You left him alive too.” he states.
“I want him to remember what happened forever. Death would be too easy for him. I need him to suffer every day knowing I have what he could never appreciate.”
Andre chuckles “I’m sure I could find some use for him. After all, he doesn't have a tongue to talk to anyone anymore. Less chance of me murdering him out of annoyance.”
Xavier hasn't said a word. He’s still busy eyeing the SD card on the table .
“Permission granted,” I say, sliding it towards him.
“Really?” He asks with excitement.
I laugh out loud causing some of the guests around us to look our way curiously. “How could I ever deny my friend his most favorite kink mixed with a little gore? Call it a repayment for pulling you away from the show Jonathan and Jamison were about to give you when we were at Lock & Key.”
“I feel like I’m being double gifted now,” he says, wiggling his eyebrows. “You and Riley gave quite the show that night right afterwards. Although I must admit, it was quite dark and I was a little preoccupied. All in all, it was worth it. I’ll still take a little peek at this though…for research purposes.” He winks and puts the card in his pocket.
Andre huffs, “I always miss the good shit. I fucking hate not being in the states with you guys more.”
“Well tell your dad you might have to come down a little more often,” I reply before pulling out a small box and setting it on the table between us. Both of their eyes widen before looking at me.
Xavier snatches the box up, opens it and whistles. “You shouldn't have,” he states before placing his hand on his heart. “What will Riley think if we run away together, Sebastian?”
“Shut the fuck up,” Andre says snatching the open box from him. “Damn, what’s this about 4-carats?”
“Five,'' I state smugly. He places the box back on the table. A platinum, 5-carat solitaire, Asscher-cut diamond ring nestles inside of it.
“Fuck, I never thought I would see the day. You really are serious,” Xavier says.
I look at both him and Andre with a radiant smile plastered on my face, “Dead serious. Are you boys ready to marry me off?”
We all laugh before motioning the waitress over for our check.
