Chapter 33
Chapter Thirty-Three
Rafael
It takes Samantha’s fangs piercing my neck to bring me back to my senses. Zack is clearly having some self-control issues and Santiago is straight up snarling at Samantha, looking like he’s ready to do murder.
I try to feel her, but there’s no bond beyond the changeling one. Of course there isn’t. She said so herself. I haven’t had her blood, unlike Santiago. It seems that even poisoned, it was enough to form a bond.
Samantha is drinking big, greedy gulps and moaning with pleasure. I swallow the last blood in the bag and hold my hand out for another one. I need to stock up fast. Santiago’s blood would be better, but blood bags are better than nothing.
Santiago throws the last bag at me and starts pacing in front of the fireplace. The wolf is slowly getting himself under control. I tear the bag open and Samantha jerks back, almost smacking it out of my hands.
“That smells horrible,” she says and her nose wrinkles.
I want to groan but manage to keep it inside and hold the bag out for Santiago, who chugs it down without hesitation. He still looks like hell warmed over. When I look down, there are tears in Samantha’s eyes.
“What is it, sweetheart?”
“I don’t want you to starve because of me,” she says and her voice trembles.
“Shh, dove. Don’t cry,” the wolf says and pats her knee. “We’ll figure something out.”
“I’m not starving, sweetheart,” I try to reassure her too.
“You are hungry. I can see it,” she retorts.
“So are you and I’m more than happy to feed you.”
“But—”
“Samantha, sweetheart. I’m old. I can handle it. Don’t worry about it.” My dismissal seems to antagonize her further.
“I could go get more blood,” the witch says from the doorway. I didn’t even hear her come back inside. Samantha’s head whips around and her eyes narrow. “I’m Sophie,” the witch says to Samantha but doesn’t move closer.
“You smell bad,” Samantha says, sounding petulant.
“So I’ve been told.” Sophie chuckles. She doesn’t seem to take offense easily.
“She helped with my leg, dove,” the wolf reminds Samantha.
“Fine, okay, thanks for that,” Samantha says grudgingly.
“I’m happy to help,” the witch says. “So, more blood?”
“Enhanced, if you can get it,” I say and she nods.
“I’ll be back in a couple of hours. You might want to take advantage of my absence.”
It takes a moment for her meaning to register and I look down at Samantha. Her fangs are peeking and her skin looks better, and obviously, her mood has shifted. Santiago turns to look at her too and some of his tension drains away when he catches the witch’s meaning too.
“Oh, we’ll take care of her,” the wolf rumbles. That gets Samantha’s attention and she scrambles from my lap to his.
“Take care of what?” she asks and leans closer to his neck. For a split second, I think she’s going to bite him, but she only traces the tip of her tongue along the vein in his neck. The wolf shudders and cups her bottom, grinding her closer to him.
Suddenly, Samantha slams a hand on his chest and sits up, clearly annoyed.
“For heaven’s sake, Jim. Shut up.”
“What—” Santiago furiously waves for me to keep my mouth shut.
“No, I don’t care.” She shakes her head. “Well, I’m not. They are not. You are not.” She falls silent for a moment before growling. “If you interfere again, I will gut you and feed your innards to the crows.” She throws her hands in the air, frustrated. “Yeah, fine, go sulk somewhere else.”
Finally, she seems to snap out of it and focuses on the wolf again.
“All good?” Santiago asks carefully.
“Just fantastic,” Samantha groans and grinds against the wolf, who doesn’t waste time and kisses her hard.
“What the hell?” I mouth at Santiago, who just shakes his head and moves closer to Samantha, frowning.
“She still needs to feed more,” he says.
“I know.”
Samantha and the wolf are ignoring both of us and grinding against each other like teenagers.
“Fucking thing,” Santiago curses.
“Stop bringing Jim up. It’s ruining my mood.” Samantha huffs as she throws her head back. The wolf kisses his way down her throat and nuzzles her breasts. Samantha’s eyes glaze over and her fangs elongate.
I lurch forward and thrust my arm in front of her just as she strikes. Her fangs sink in deep and my cock throbs as she moans. Santiago is there, behind Samantha, steadying her, and when I look down, I see the wolf's fingers sink into her pussy. Samantha almost chokes on my blood at that.
Santiago cups her breasts and gently kneads them, causing her to moan and ease her fangs off me. Fuck no. I turn her head and claim her mouth. When I slice my tongue against her fang, Samantha sucks greedily and I feel every pull in my cock.
She’s riding the wolf’s fingers, kissing me, and based on Santiago’s pants, her hand has found his cock too. All of us have lost our damn minds.
“Come for us, little fangs,” Santiago urges her.
“That’s right, dove. Take what you need from us.” The wolf joins in and I thrust my tongue deeper for her to suck. It’s all a whirlwind of lust and haze and then Samantha lashes her tongue against my fang.
The sweet flavor of her blood hits my senses and sets them on fire. She tasted good, but now she’s like a drug hitting my system. I suck on her tongue, groaning, and the pleasure rolls through my body. All I can think of is her taste.
“Rafe, Rafe, ease up,” Santiago’s words penetrate the haze and I blink. Samantha is slumped against him, eyes closed and body slack. When I pull back, her moan sounds like a complaint. The wolf is licking off his fingers and the smell of Samantha and sex makes my fangs ache.
“Little fangs, are you all right?”
“Mhh,” she purrs.
The wolf chuckles. “That was…”
“Your cock is hard as a rock,” Samantha says, eyes still closed.
“Well, yeah.”
“You could stick it in.”
“Damn, where’s the romance, woman?”
Samantha cracks her eyes at that and sticks out her tongue. Both San and I inhale deeply at the smell of blood. I want to lean in and suck at her tongue again, but Santiago beats me to it. He moves her up against the wolf and turns her head so he can kiss her.
She doesn’t seem to mind his handling and just purrs when the wolf pats her pussy again.
