Chapter Six

Dani

I pull into the Behind the Lens parking lot thirty minutes ahead of when I told Victor and Andrés to meet me here. I want to get the room set up so we can get started right away.

When I announced that the two of them were going to join me for the scene, my subscribers had been ecstatic—as had theirs.

I love that I get to work with people I’m attracted to and friends with—whether or not I’d like it to be more than friends is neither here nor there. I also love that we’re popular together.

Stepping out of the car, I make my way toward the warehouse—although, why we call it a warehouse, I’ll never understand. The thing looks more like a house to me.

With its covered porch, the bottom level looks like a log cabin, while the second floor has dark charcoal siding. It’s comfortable and feels more like coming home than going to work. That’s probably why I love working here so much.

The door swings open just before I reach it, and I smile at the guy who holds it open for me.

“Oh, Dani!”

I turn my head to find Nova standing behind the reception desk, gesturing for me to join her. She is really gorgeous with her long dark hair and high cheekbones.

“Hey, Nova. What’s up?”

She offers me a smile. “Lorna was hoping you had some time to talk with her before your session.”

“Lorna?” I frown before nodding. I can’t remember the last time I talked to her for longer than a quick hello in the hallway. “Of course. I always have time for the boss.”

“Perfect. Let me just call her and make sure she’s ready for you.” Nova picks up the phone, murmuring into it before hanging up. “She said you can head right on up to her office.”

I give her a wave and restart my journey toward the stairs. “Thanks, Nova.”

I have no idea why Lorna would want to talk to me, but I’m definitely curious. Reaching her office, I knock lightly and wait for her muffled “enter” before stepping inside.

Lorna sits behind her desk, her blue hair pulled up as she turns to smile at me. “Thanks for stopping by to talk to me, Dani.”

“It’s my pleasure.” I return her smile, dropping into the seat on the other side of her office. “What can I do for you?”

“I think it’s more about what we can do for each other,” she says with a laugh. “I’ve decided I want to do a Behind the Lens annual calendar, and I’d like you to be in it.”

I blink at her. “Me? In a calendar?”

She nods. “I know you’re not exactly hiding who you are, but you are planning to have a job that might frown upon this type of thing, so I understand if you don’t want to.”

“Oh, I want to.” I laugh at my own eagerness. “But can you tell me a little more about it?”

“Of course. I’m choosing twelve people from Behind the Lens and assigning them each a month.

All you have to do is choose a holiday in that month and do a photoshoot for it.

We’d also like you to do a video of some sort to go along with it.

That’s not a requirement, but it would be good cross-promotion.

You can choose who you want to be in the shoot and video with you.

It doesn’t need to be someone from BTL. We would just need them to sign an NDA and get an STD test—and pregnancy test if they’re female. ”

My head is already spinning with ideas, and I don’t even know what month she’s assigning me. “I’d love to do this, Lorna. Thank you so much for the opportunity.”

“That’s what I like to hear. I’m assigning you to August. Once you’ve decided what you want to do, get with Nova, and she’ll get you on the schedule. I can’t wait to see what you come up with. I know you’re here to film a session, so I won’t keep you any longer.”

When she stands and offers me her hand, I do the same. “Thanks again, Lorna.”

Then I’m heading down the hallway toward the room I booked before veering off toward the locker room.

It’s surprisingly quiet as I step inside and walk to my locker.

I rustle through my costumes until I find the one I’m looking for—the schoolgirl outfit with its barely there skirt and top, plus white lace thigh-high stockings and heeled Mary Janes.

Yeah, this isn’t the first time I’ve used this. It may be a little cliché, but if it works, then who am I to argue with it?

It doesn’t take long to change into the costume, and I tuck my clothes onto the shelf in the locker before grabbing my bag and making my way to the room.

I’ll need to grab the desks from storage before we start recording, but I can probably get Victor or Andrés to do it for me. It will be much easier for them to lug them up the stairs.

Swinging open the door, I glance around the room to decide where best to get started. I don’t bother to shut the door behind me since the guys will be here soon enough. Plus, others might pop their heads in to say hello with it open.

I’m not as close with the other cammers like I am with Maya, Victor, and Andrés, but we’re on friendly terms. At least the ones I’ve met. Even if we just share the occasional wave across the hall. This place is kind of like a big family, or at least that’s how I look at it.

It’s not competitive between cammers like the last site I worked for. We all know there’s enough money to go around. At least that’s what I figure they’re thinking, since no one has been cruel to me since starting here.

I kick off my shoes, toes digging into the plush carpeting as I move toward an empty wall. That will be a good place to set up the desks.

We don’t script these sessions, just going with what feels right, but there’s more than enough room here for Victor to fuck me and Andrés in whatever combination against the wall or using the desks.

Behind the Lens has some that the tabletop folds down, turning it into a chair, so we’ll need to use those since it wouldn’t make sense for there to be a bed in the middle of a classroom, now would there?

Pulling my tripod out of my bag, I unfold it and add my phone to the holder at the top.

It takes me a minute to find the angle I want, then I pull out the other two tripods and set them up.

We’ll be streaming to all three of our channels and recording.

Each channel will have a different angle to watch live, and we’ll post the edited video to each of our channels once I have time to go through it.

The streams are for our subscribers, while the video will be pay-per-view. It’s the best of both worlds, and I know a lot of subscribers will do both.

As I set them up, I find my mind wandering back to Lorna’s offer.

I’m going to be in a fucking calendar.

Frowning, I realize there aren’t any well-known holidays in August. I’ll have to do some research to pick a holiday. I know that most, if not all, days have a national something or other day. It shouldn’t be too hard to figure out a holiday that will work for both a photoshoot and a video.

Wrinkling my nose, I almost wish I didn’t have the session with the guys today, so I could research it now. Or I could start by looking it up on my phone. I still have a few minutes before they should be here.

I decide that’s exactly what I’m going to do and pull my phone off the tripod. Before starting my search, I shoot a text to Victor, who’s most likely to arrive first, and ask him to grab two of the folding-top desks. When I receive a thumbs-up, I dive into the search engine.
