Chapter 6 #2
Her hips tilted as I pressed my weight against her, the tip of my cock already finding the wetness of her soft folds. She slipped her hand between us, folding her fingers around my dick and pushing the tip inside.
A reminder that she was a virgin formed in the back of my mind.
Her laugh was nervous, the slight shake of her head an indication she sensed what was crossing my mind. “Just fuck me. Okay?”
Maybe she did understand what she was asking for. Maybe she was hopeful that through our carnal sin something would change, a growth that was rare. A closeness that could withstand the effects of the war.
Whatever the case, I rose onto my arms so I could see her face. I wanted to watch the string of emotions rolling through as I fucked her. As soon as my cockhead was inside, all the willpower in the world couldn’t keep me from claiming her.
I drove my hips forward, plunging the full length of my dick inside.
Her cry ripped through the space, no doubt heard from outside. While I enjoyed the strangled cry, the moan following, I had no desire to be interrupted.
Not now.
Not… now.
I captured her mouth, taking every whimper as I pulled out, thrusting into her again.
She writhed underneath me, creating even more heat spiraling between us. The way she rubbed her hands over my shoulders fueled the hunger more than before. Then as she raked her nails down my back, she managed to bring out the true Savage in me.
The pleasure was intense, much more so than with the few women I’d dared touch in my life. None had brought such rapture. None had awakened the beast within me.
And none had kept my attention for longer than a few seconds.
When I pulled our lips free, her moan was subdued and her eyes glassy, glowing emeralds spun in a fire. She looked so beautiful lying under me, the rise of pleasure unexpected.
Yet she wasn’t accepting of what had to be.
Including accompanying me on an adventure. I could tell even now, even with her long legs wrapped around my waist. Even with her soft lips pursed and in the throes of ecstasy.
She wouldn’t come willingly.
And I couldn’t afford to lose track of her.
Her muscles stretched, accepting my thick cock and a smile was there, shining in those same star-filled eyes and in the corners of her lush lips. I could enjoy fucking her all night long, defiling her in every way.
Somehow, I doubted that was anything she’d want. But for now, I was content with savoring being her first. While I tried to be gentle, she clung to me in a way indicating she wanted nothing to do with my tender side.
I pulled out, driving into her again. And again. Soon I was unable to hold back, my body’s needs leading to a roughness I hadn’t anticipated.
Yet she wasn’t backing down, her grip on my shoulders bordering on painful. We rocked together, pushing boundaries while the wildness inside of her dictated how fast and how brutal my strokes were.
I was so damn deep inside it felt as if I was lost in her. With every shift of my hips, I ground hard against her core. There was no restraint left between us. Just raw, crazed need that kept our pulses high and our needs unfathomable.
The sudden urge to have her climax was so strong I couldn’t hold back any longer. I thrust harder, losing myself in her and as she clung to me, I sensed the moment she was ready to let go.
Her soft cries were muted, her body still writhing under me. I didn’t hold back, slamming into her with a sense of need surpassing all sense of decency.
As her pussy muscles clamped and released, every muscle began to tense. I had no idea how long I managed to last, but when the last threads of control faded, the sheer joy of releasing was only overshadowed by the knowledge that this could never happen again.
Yet as I filled her with my seed, I knew I’d forever hold a sense of owning her that couldn’t be erased by time or space.
The way her pussy fluttered around my cock could keep me going all night.
In my mind she belonged to me.
Mine to keep and protect.
Only that wasn’t the case.
A greater purpose.
A higher cause.
The words were practiced, a required mantra. A reality that couldn’t be changed.
The blood racing through my veins ran cold. The capture and completion wouldn’t be so easy. Every obstacle from here on out could be devastating. But the oath of the Verndari would remain intact.
There is no honor in hiding.
With our breathing slowing, I curled my body around hers, pulling her even closer. At least this way, I could keep her safe as required.
In the last few minutes as her breathing slowed and fatigue took hold, another image flashed into my mind. One from long ago held in a memory that likely held no accuracy.
But comforting nonetheless.

A sound drew my attention, soft yet irritating in the quietness of the night. Crouching, I scanned the barren area, one ripe with hiding places. While the light was waning, the Night Dwellers were still sequestered in their dark burrows.
Whoever was hiding in the dilapidated buildings had no chance of survival. Either that or there were Freedom Hunters ensuring there was no one left from my father’s cabinet. If the bastards found out I was alive, hunters would be sent to finish what had been started. I had to be very careful.
The news of my family’s slaughter had nearly destroyed me, pushing me into risking my life and that of my fellow Verndari.
I’d lost my way, escaping the secure compound in search of some sense of solace.
I’d wandered several miles before realizing how far I’d gone, succumbing to despair before hearing the sound.
Some poor soul had lost his life because of me. Someone who looked like me. Had my father planted a double so I’d be safe? So many horrible thoughts had already damaged my mind.
Revenge. That was all I could think about, hunting down the person responsible and I’d… The rage was intense, pushing me even when the odds were against me.
Another noise broke my concentration.
I moved from the side of the structure, trying to pinpoint where the noise had come from. Across the street. Remaining in the shadows, I waited in hopes that what I’d heard had come from an animal.
Seconds later, I had my answer. The cry was definitely human, female and the sound as if the person very young. Perhaps curiosity pushed me across the street and through the debris. Perhaps even a death wish since there wasn’t a tactic the hunters wouldn’t use to draw me out in the open.
Yet I couldn’t leave without knowing for certain. With the knife stolen from the laboratory in hand, I rushed to the other side, crowding in an alcove. I didn’t need to wait long before the pitiful sound assaulted my ears.
The cry was awful, pulling against my humanity so I followed the trail that led me just inside a building almost completely destroyed.
With the sound closer, I knew I’d almost reached my target. Yet my boots crunching shattered glass drew a sharp breath. I moved closer, constantly scanning the room for any sign whoever was making the sound wasn’t alone.
When I was close, I could hear the girl’s breathing, her cries even more mournful than before. With a single rock moved, I came face to face with the source of the sound.
A little girl. She couldn’t be more than four or five. If that. It had been so long since I’d seen a child, I couldn’t be certain, but her eyes were open wide, her mouth twisted in terror.
She was in a shirt and pants, the material ripped. The waning light was unable to hide the dirt and blood on her face and arms. Huddled in the small space, she was shaking violently.
“Hello. Are you alone?” My voice echoed in the space, obviously terrifying enough she shrank back. Every clipped sound, the sheer emotional agony she was going through tugged at emotions I’d thought had been put to rest with the initial set of drugs.
Maybe because the program had yet to start in earnest, I was still able to feel anything at all.
Including empathy.
She tilted her head, studying me while her body shivered violently.
“Who did you come here with?”
Her wide-eyed stare didn’t change, and I honestly wasn’t certain if she understood me at all. I could barely see her face from the mop of stringy hair falling across her shoulders and her cheeks.
“Let’s try this again. Are you with anyone?
” Time was running out. At minimum, I’d need to find somewhere secure to stay until light.
There was no way I would make it back to the base before darkness fell.
I’d seen firsthand what the Dwellers were capable of.
One sharp knife would do little against an army.
A little headway was made when she shook her head.
Jesus Christ. How had she ended up here all alone? There was no village close because the area had been cleared out months before the project had started. That much I knew from what little I’d been told when accepted into the program.
And I doubted a child wearing flimsy tennis shoes had made it so far. She was nothing but a tasty morsel for the predatory animals in the area. That left one horrible realization.
Someone had dumped her in the middle of nowhere on purpose.
With the bunkers of the military base completely underground, there was no chance anyone without clearance would know there were any people here.
