Chapter 62
Sixty-Two
CADE
I think I’m dreaming.
Which is odd, because most of the time, my dreams are more like nightmares. So to have a good dream— a really fucking good dream— that hasn’t ended feels… bizarre.
“Fuck, you’re such a slut for my cock,” Sebastian growls, my scalp stinging from his grip on my hair as he thrusts roughly into my throat. I could die here on my knees, choking on my stepbrother’s dick and my only regret would be that Andrea isn’t watching.
Maybe next time, I’ll convince him to film it for her.
Because there will be a next time. Probably before noon.
We’ve been at it since Sebastian woke me up at the ungodly hour of 6 a.m., grinding his morning wood into my ass. Not that I’m complaining. I got to fuck him again after he filled me with cum and shoved a plug in my hole. The guy has a serious cum fetish.
Again, not complaining. It’s nasty in the best way.
“Keep those beautiful eyes on me, baby.”
Through wet lashes, I peer up at him and massage the thick, throbbing vein on the underside of his shaft with my tongue.
He groans. “Goddamn, you’re so perfect.” His pace quickens. “I’m gonna fill this mouth and you’re gonna hold it for me.”
So. Fucking. Hot.
My dick bobs between my legs impatiently. It doesn’t matter that I came in his ass hard enough to black out thirty minutes ago. It’s like I’ve got four years' worth of orgasms demanding release all at once.
Sebastian’s hips jerk. My nails bite into his thighs as he unloads with a low moan.
“Show me,” he rasps and pulls out.
I drop my jaw, excess cum and saliva dripping down my chin as I stick out my tongue.
He drops to his knees, still fisting my hair as he tilts my head back and devours my mouth, his free hand wrapping around my straining cock. My eyes roll back. The ache in my balls becomes a burning climax, only a dribble of cum leaking out. Fucking spent.
I slump into him.
Strong arms wrap around me. Then I’m cocooned in them, cradled in his naked lap. Fingertips skim my spine. Up… and down. Up… and down.
“Gotta clean you up, my love.”
My love…
There’s a weird flutter in my chest. I better not be hallucinating. I know I took my meds yesterday.
A kiss right below my ear. “You alive?”
“Mmm. Barely.”
Another kiss to the same spot. Then I’m flying. Sebastian carries me to the massive California king, taking up the majority of his bedroom, and deposits me in a mess of navy striped sheets. The second my head hits the pillow, my eyes close.
When they open, there’s a quilt draped over me and no plug in my ass. On the nightstand is a glass of water and some pain relievers, which I take because holy ballsacks, I’m sore everywhere. (I’m gonna need to start working out to keep up.)
Bitching under my breath, I shuffle to the bathroom—
First thing I notice: No tub in sight. Just a massive glass shower. Second: There’s a brand new toothbrush sitting on the counter between the double sinks. And deodorant… and moisturizer… and leave-in conditioner…
“I left some clothes for you on the dresser. I’ll grab your bag and meds on my way back from some errands. If there’s anything I missed, just let me know.”
I spin around to find my stepbrother leaning in the doorway, chocolate hair mussed and cheeks pink.
“You got all this for me?”
He moves into the space. “I told you. I want to take care of you.”
I don’t know what to do with that. Sure, Dad provided for me, in the sense that he gave me money to get whatever I wanted, but I haven’t had someone consider me this way since…
A warm hand cups my cheek. Sebastian’s concerned eyes come into focus.
“You with me?”
“Yeah… I just… You didn’t even know if I’d come over last night.”
The corners of his eyes crinkle with a smile. “Call it manifestation.”
A choked laugh scrapes out of my throat. It's just raw from sex. Not emotion. Totally from sex.
His thumb swipes under my eye. “Hey…”
Shit. I’m crying.
“Sorry…”
I’m enveloped in Sebastian again, my head tucked under his chin. “You can talk to me,” he murmurs into my hair. “I’m a pretty good listener.”
I rub my nose on his shirt. Sniffle. Fuck it. “My mom used to do that kind of stuff. Dad tried, but he never paid enough attention to get it right. And then when she started getting bad… I was kind of an afterthought, you know? So it's… nice. To be thought of.”
He presses a kiss on the top of my head. “You’re all I think about.”
I hug him tighter. This feeling in my chest— it’s too much. Like I’m going to burst. He slowly pulls back and grasps my face in both hands, kissing my lips, so softly— so tenderly— that my knees almost give out.
Then he whispers, “You’re my first thought in the morning and my last before bed.
When I’m away from you, I wonder what you’re doing.
If you’re smiling. If you’re being treated right.
If you need me. If you’re thinking of me, too.
And the more I learn about you, the more I think of all the things I want to give you.
All the experiences I want us to share and the places I want to take you.
I think about how lucky I am to be this close to you.
To be the one you’ve opened up to about the darkest things you’ve overcome, and how fucking proud I am of you for fighting through it.
” His voice cracks. “I think, little by little, I’ve fallen in love with every single version of you— the vicious, sweet, reckless, beautiful pieces that make you irresistible and irreplaceable. ”
My lip trembles. “You mean that?”
“With everything in me.” His gaze mists over. “Fuck, Cade… It’s honestly terrifying how much I love you.”
The overwhelming, constant ache ripping through my chest has a name. And he says he feels it too. Not just in words either.
“I’m scared,” I croak. “Because loving you means I could lose you. And I can’t— I can’t do that again.”
He’s shaking his head, fighting the tears I see on the verge of spilling over. “You won’t lose me, baby. You’ll never lose me.”
Then his mouth crushes mine in a bruising kiss that tastes like relief, promises and hope. I melt into it and hand him my scarred heart.
