CHAPTER 53
Her cheeks were burning and so was her thigh where his hand rested.
The way he touched her so shamelessly and boldly both scared and thrilled her.
Kaelith leaned back on the couch, a mischievous glint in his eyes, teasing Amara relentlessly by pushing his hands up her thighs and teasing the rims of her panties.
"Easy there, Amara. I wouldn't want you to turn into a permanent shade of red," Kaelith teased, a playful smirk on his lips. Amara clenched her jaw, her lips pouting as she shyly mumbled.
"Don’t touch me."
Kaelith chuckled lowly. “You look so beautiful, little one. I wouldn’t be surprised if I ended up eating you out instead of the food.”
Amara’ s wide eyes stared at him in disbelief. Kaelith pecked her nose and gently put her down before getting up. “Eat your food. I’ll take a quick shower. Need to take care of some business.” Amara frowned. What business he be doing in the bathroom?
Kaelith disappeared into the bathroom, and she took a moment to compose herself.
Moving to the mirror, she decided to let her long locks cascade down her back, their soft waves framing her face.
A subtle touch of red tint graced her lips, and she smacked them together, contemplating whether to add blush.
However, the thought of Kaelith's teasing gaze made her reconsider; her cheeks were blushing enough already.
Amara couldn't help but smile as she admired herself in the mirror.
Kaelith had a way of making her feel alive, his teasing banter igniting a warmth within her.
She shook her head, deciding to leave the blush untouched, feeling content with the natural flush Kaelith had managed to elicit.
As the sound of the shower echoed in the background, Amara couldn't help but marvel at the dance he had become—a dance she was more than willing to partake in.
After ten minutes, Kaelith emerged from the bathroom, steam billowing around him, wearing nothing but a towel wrapped around his waist. Amara caught off guard, quickly blushed and turned around, her back facing him.
Kaelith chuckled at her sudden shyness, ruffling his damp hair as he sauntered over to the dresser. "Enjoying the view, baby?" he teased, a playful twinkle in his eyes.
Amara stuttered. “I-I…”
Kaelith laughed, loving the way she could switch from acting like a cat ready to scratch to a cute little pup in the blink of an eye. He grabbed his clothes from the dresser, intentionally taking his time, knowing he had her attention.
Kaelith chuckled, planting a quick kiss on her cheek. "You look adorable, baby."
She watched him dress as he pulled up a polo t-shirt and jeans. Something Amara had never seen him in. It just made him look younger. He ruffled his hair and bobbed his head at the table. “You didn’t eat anything?”
“I was… I was waiting for you.” She tucked her hair behind her ear. Kaelith teased his bottom lip. She would be the death of him.
He sat beside her and pulled her onto his lap, nuzzling his head into her neck. “I don’t know whether to kiss you with my lips or my cock-“
“Stop, please!” she quickly put her hand on his mouth with wide eyes.
Kaelith grinned against her palm as she quickly realized and pulled it away.
He kissed her jaw. “let’ s eat then.” He spoke.
Amara could smell the masculine scent off of him.
Sandalwood missed with mint. She opened her mouth as he fed her, and ate with her used spoon.
She opened her mouth to object, but instead let out a sigh. He wouldn’t even listen.
She just sat on his lap, eating with his hands, and feeling complete in his embrace.
*****
After breakfast, Kaelith led her down the stairs.
His large hands were in her small ones. Heart beating loudly and breathing unevenly.
Amara couldn’t understand what it was. She couldn’t decipher it.
It was like a puzzle she couldn’t solve, no matter how hard she tried like a crucial piece was missing.
Kaelith led Amara towards the sleek, expensive black LA Ferrari Apreta parked outside, its elegant curves reflecting the morning sunlight. The luxurious sports car stood as a mark of wealth.
Kaelith opened the passenger door, gesturing for Amara to step inside. She hesitated, her gaze flickering between the car and Kaelith.
"No driver?"
Kaelith raised an eyebrow, a playful smirk on his lips. "None. Get in now."
Amara's eyes widened slightly, but she shyly complied, sliding into the plush leather seat. Kaelith settled into the driver's seat, the car's engine purring to life with a powerful roar. The scent of leather and luxury surrounded them as the roof retracted, revealing the open sky above.
She looked at him and admired how lively he looked. His unkempt hair, which only added four moons to his ethereal beauty and the navy-blue t-shirt brought out the greys of his eyes. She fidgeted with her fingers.
There was an unexplainable joy that came with him, a feeling of contempt. Nothing mattered, and nothing could replace that. He evoked a fluttering sensation in her stomach, a mix of excitement and nervous anticipation that was hard to attribute to anything specific.
And strangely, she couldn’t tell what these sensations were.
The smile on her face fell. But the reality was far clearer than whatever she felt.
Kaelith read her face, and he put his hand on her thigh, rubbing his thumb over the cloth. “What would you like to eat for lunch?”
“We just had breakfast. I am not very hungry.” She said ignoring the fluttering butterflies in her stomach by the way his thumb moved to the inner thigh.
“Hmm…” he hummed driving with one hand on the steering wheel. "Where are we going?" she finally asked, breaking the silence.
Kaelith grinned, his eyes focused on the road ahead. "It's a surprise, baby. Just enjoy the ride."
The wind tousled her hair, and she stole another glance at Kaelith, who seemed entirely at ease behind the wheel.
The car weaved through traffic, taking turns with precision and grace.
Kaelith glanced at Amara, a knowing smile playing on his lips. "Enjoying the ride?"
Amara smiled, momentarily forgetting her worries and giving space to the unknown emotions, the wind carrying her laughter away. "More than I expected."
