Boyfriend Refused to Pin Me

Boyfriend Refused to Pin Me

By Qing Wei

Prologue

My boyfriend pinned his Junior Sister but didn't pin me.

I broke up with him.

My friend was stunned. "Just over something this small?"

People kept asking if I was sure I wouldn't regret it.

After all, Zhou Chaoqing really was that good.

He planned out my path from undergrad straight to PhD.

He meticulously arranged which city we would settle in later.

The Notebook was filled with our next ten years.

It even specified which year we would save enough for a down payment, which year we would have a kid.

But he refused to pin me.

He thought spending five seconds to say good night to me was a waste of time.

Yet he was willing to spend half a month tutoring his Junior Sister on topics she didn't understand.

He had explained it before. "This is all for work. Work is for our future."

I knew.

I knew everything.

But I didn't want to live in the future anymore. I just wanted to live in the present.
