Showtime Dalton
The camera shows a close-up of my face, red lockers in the background, though they’re hardly visible. “I hope she doesn’t kill me for this later, but I’ve got an update for you.”
An arm comes around my neck before another word is uttered to the camera, and I’m being dragged backward while the camera angle shows the ceiling, the floor, a blue uniform, and everything in between before Luke appears in the frame.
“Ya’ll, your boy got his girl back,” he says with a grin almost as big as mine was.
The angle flips to show me wrestling with Liam on the bunker room floor as I struggle to get out of a headlock.
Luke continues with a laugh, “And as her self-appointed big brothers, we’re showing him what happens if he screws with her heart.”
“Okay, okay! I give! Enough with the noogie!” I shout.
Liam lets go of me and turns towards the camera, giving a roar of victory while he flexes his muscles. The view flips once more, showing Luke again, tongue sticking out as far as he can as he gives his own yell of victory.
“End with a wink, end with a wink!” Liam shouts at him.
Luke’s eyes dart over the camera for a second, then he grins with full dimples, looking back. Following Liam’s direction, he winks.
