Title #2
Kirill spoke no more, as the whip did all the talking now.
Over and over, the whip came out to lick a little more life from Lionel Rinc.
Then Lionel’s screams finally ceased.
Blood ran along the ring floor as Kirill suddenly stopped.
A bloody, ripped open Lionel laid utterly still at the corner of the ring. His breathing was thready and weak.
Dropping the whip, Kirill turned to meet Pride’s gaze. “Now, you can have him.” He then lifted the ropes and left the ring.....

Badass Women, Bratva...
Yuri frowned and growled. “They need to learn that we will protect our women, all of our women and that to take one and hurt her is unforgivable and for that... they will pay the price.” He slowly swung his gaze around the room and he glared at the women.
“It is our job to protect you women. I know you are all aware of that. Yet, you took it upon yourselves to go against our wishes. You put yourselves in danger...again.”
Raven walked over to her husband and with her hands on her hips, she glared at him, “Yes, you are Bratva Yuri and yes, we belong to you and your men, but we are our own women too. If we belong to you, then you also belong to us. We are Bratva as well. We married into it. And we will protect you as much as you protect us. It isn’t that we didn’t think you wouldn’t go in there and get her, we knew you would.
We just did it without causing as much damage.
Sometimes subtle is not your forte. We only wanted to know who we were dealing with first. Besides all of that, you men have taught us well how to defend ourselves against our enemies,” she put emphasis on our.
“We are not exactly helpless here. We can and will defend ourselves and have your backs too, if there is a need.”
They all heard something odd and turned to look over at the double doors in the foyer.
Sergi appeared as he came into the penthouse and he was clapping as though he was a pleased audience.
Felix and his entourage were right behind him.
Sergi then halted his clapping and looked from his granddaughter to Yuri. “My granddaughter has Russian blood running through her veins as you well know.” He gave Yuri a nod. “Though, I can understand your problem.” He then stared at Raven. “And don’t tell me, my Anita was in on it wasn’t she?”
Raven shrugged.
Sergi shook his head. “That’s what I thought.” He passed his keen gaze around the rest of the room. Then he paused when he spotted the baby in Pride’s arms. “Boo?”
Yuri nodded. “She was taken this morning by a group that call themselves the Echos of the Shadows. The women rescued her and when they got her back here, she was hurt and in labor. She had the baby and the doctor told us she had been whipped.” He let out a low growl.
“Then we found out we have a group of Russians in the city we didn’t know about and they were overheard claiming they would need to have a bargaining chip.
They were talking about taking one of our women to get a meeting with us. ”
“Is Boo going to be all right?” Sergi asked.
“Da, she will be just fine,” Kirill assured them as he joined them and shut the door behind him.
“She’s resting now and she will heal. The baby will be okay as well.
The doctor told us he is small but he will be fine.
” Kirill nodded at the men around him. “She told me the leader of the Echos reminded her of Lionel Rinc, that he had the same look of insanity Lionel had when he’d used the whip on her as a child.
He said he hoped both she and her baby would die, so he could get a two for one against me. ”
Several growls could be heard around the room.
Sergi gave him a nod. “We will find him.”
A few hours later...
The men returned to the suite and Sergi dragged Kirill to one side to speak to him, “We found out that Lionel and Logan had a younger brother Lincon. Their father died in prison fourteen years ago and their mother is currently in a mental institute after she went off the rails and stabbed her daughter. Said daughter, LaDonna reached her majority and disappeared. No one has seen her in seven years.”
Kirill nodded. “So it was Lincon that yielded the whip on my Boo? Remind me to return the favor when we finally catch up to him.”
“Beware of Lincon.” Sergi raised a brow at him.
“There are rumors around town that he is crazy mean. He had no guidance growing up and he’s got a brutal streak in him a mile wide.
According to people, he was trying to get into his brother’s street gang and they wouldn’t let him in.
Not even they wanted him, so he’s got a revenge going as well.
Rumor also has it that while his gang may be small, the members are all ruthless and will fight to their deaths if anyone comes after them.
I’m calling in the Enforcers to put this gang down. ”
Kirill stared at Sergi. “You do that but I want five minutes with this fucker Lincon.”
Sergi wordlessly nodded, then asked, “Has Boo woken up yet?”
Kirill’s jaw ticked but he nodded. “Da, she has been awake off and on all afternoon. The whip ripped up her back pretty bad. She cannot lay on it and has to be turned every hour or so. Raven hasn’t left her side either. The doctor and her have been tending to her all day.”
“Has she seen her son yet?” Sergi wanted to know.
“Da, she has.” Kirill’s voice softened. “She has spoken to her father as well. Pride wants to get his boys together and go on a rampage. She talked him down but he’s not happy.”
Sergi smiled. “Would you be happy if you didn’t get the opportunity to draw blood from the men who hurt Boo?”
Kirill growled.
“Exactly.” Sergi nodded. “She may be your wife but she is also his daughter and he’s protective of her as well.” He looked away then returned his gaze to Kirill. “The Echos of the Shadows have much to atone for. But have no doubt, both you and Pride will get your five minutes with them.”
“Da, we will.” Kirill interlocked his fingers then stretched them out in front of him while popping his knuckles.
Six hours later...
Sergi, and the men gathered at the docks.
Spike and the Echos were brought down and loaded with their hands tied behind their backs.
Before he got onto the boat that would take them to the fort, Spike turned to Sergi and demanded, “Where are you taking us?”
“To hell,” Yuri replied. “Are you disappointed?”
“Fuck no, I’m comfortable in hell, I’ve been there every day I’ve been alive,” Spike told them then he spit at Sergi’s feet.
Kosta clipped the back of his head hard enough to put the other man on his knees.
Spike slowly looked back up at Sergi.
Sergi stared down at him, his eyes as hard as steel. “You’d better get used to this view as your hell awaits you.
Spike got up and snarled at him. But instead of saying anything else, he staggered up the ramp.
Sergi and the rest of the Bratva men along with the Cossack Knights then boarded the ship.
After a few minutes, the ship took off.
The men looked around as they made their way into the swamps.
Some of Spike’s men began looking around in fear.
Sergi saw it in their eyes and he could almost see their skin begin to crawl.
When they docked on the island, the fort rose out of the bare rocks and the men began calling out, “What is this place? Why are we here? What kind of hell is this?”
“This, gentlemen, is your new home for the next several weeks,” Sergi announced.
Spike got off the boat and looked around. “This won’t be so bad.”
Then one of Sergi’s security men raised a rifle to his shoulder and snapped off a round.
The Echos men jumped and turned to Sergi.
“What the fuck was that?” one of them asked.
The guard turned to Sergi and announced, “A gator was coming up on the sand and the bullet made him change his mind.”
“Gators?” another of the tied men called out. “You can’t leave us here with gators!”
Sergi shrugged. “Don’t worry, you’ll be locked up inside and the gators can’t get inside.” He paused as if he had to think about it. “At least, I don’t think they can anyway.”
The Echos men all groaned in apprehension.
Just then, a second boat approached the dock.
Sergi turned to see Raven, Daisy, and Boo on the boat. Ana, Stevie, and Pepper were also there.
Kirill and Kosta were driving the boat.
“What the d'yavol are they doing here?” Sergi growled. “Take them back to town immediately.”
The women moved past Kosta and Kirill to head to where Sergi stood.
Raven stopped just in front of an angry looking Sergi. “Boo wanted to see justice done in her honor and I could not refuse.”
Daisy nodded. “Raven and the rest of us came along with her to be here for moral support.”
Kirill shook his head. “They threatened to come out here on their own when I caught them at the docks. But I do not want her to see me or her father whipping this little slime bucket.”
Ivan stepped up and asked, “Is that your decision? For Spike to be whipped?”
“Hell yeah, it is!” Pride yelled.
Sergi nodded. “It is as her father says...that is what he deserves.”.
“Then let me do the deed,” Ivan stated. “I have no connection to you and yours and at least, it won’t be her husband or her father that makes him bleed.”
Sergi looked over at Kirill.
Kirill looked back at the Bratva leader as pure rage burned in his eyes and his hands were clenched at his sides as he stood beside Boo. He looked like he could barely stand there, as Spike was only a few feet away. He took a deep breath and gave a short nod to Sergi.
Next, Sergi looked over at Pride who stood on the other side of Boo, holding his huge arm around her shoulder to support her weight. Pride growled.
Boo looked up at him. “Please Dad? It can’t be you either.”
Pride shook his head as he sighed in disgust and gave Sergi his nod.
“Very well.” Sergi looked over at the guards and shouted in Russian, “Vystroyte zaklyuchennykh, vsekh, krome Spayka. YA khochu, chtoby on byl privyazan k stolbu.” Line up the prisoners, all but Spike. I want him tied to the post.
The guards nodded and moved the confused Echos men into place.
Then Sazon and Roman headed toward Spike.
“What did he just say? He was speaking Russian. Damnut what did he say?” Spike yelled. “What the hell?” He fought being tied to the post but in the end, he had no choice.
Nikita walked over to him and ripped the shirt Spike was wearing up the back.
When his back was exposed, Ivan could see the old scars there. He looked over at Sergi and said in Russian, “On uzhe znayet vkus knuta. ” He already knows the taste of the whip.
Sergi nodded. “As I thought but now, he’ll taste it again and this will be his final time.”
Ivan nodded and held out his hand for the whip.
One of Sergi’s guards handed him the leather strap.
Ivan took a step or two away and snapped the leather a few times.
Spike flinched while anticipating the bite and when it didn’t come, he relaxed.
Just then, Ivan turned toward Spike and let loose a hard stinging snap.
Spike screamed and red colored his back. Again and again, the leather bit him and after the first six strikes, he screamed every time.
Ivan stopped and looked over at Sergi.
Sergi gave him a nod.
Ivan then began again.
By the time he hit a dozen lashes, Sergi held up his hand and stated, “Ostanavlivat'sya.”
Ivan rested the whip.
Sergi stepped closer to the man with the red striped back as he hung low on the post. “This is justice for the woman you whipped two days ago. For each time you marked her, we will mark you two times.”
Spike tried to turn his head and spit at Sergi. “Go to hell, old man.”
“You first.” Sergi growled and nodded at Ivan again.
The whip snapped over and over again.
Spike passed out at about the eighteenth strike.
Ivan was going to stop but Sergi bid him to continue.
Spike’s back was all torn up when he hit twenty four.
“Ostanavlivat'sya.” Sergi finally called it quits.
Spike was passed out on his knees.
His guards undid his hands and dragged him inside the fort.
The Echos men all looked pale and afraid as they were shuddering with fear.
Sergi turned around to look at them. “This is Justice the Bratva way. If he had killed her and her child, we would have proceeded with a death for him that has gone out of style as of 200 years ago.” Sergi stared at each man as he asked, “Do you wish to know this method of killing?”
The men all shook their heads, meaning hell no they didn’t.
Sergi gave them his kindest smile.
