40. Engagement Completion Document #2
“I’ll help you study for a while and then we move downstairs to study and I quiz you.” He arches an eyebrow.
I pick up my pen and play with it. “And where will you quiz me?”
He smirks. “The play room.”
I blow out a breath as heat floods me. “I do like to be rewarded.”
“That’s the plan, princess.”
Graduation Day
The morning was chaos. I’m not sure what set it off, but nothing has gone right. Finn kept me up half the night by trying to fuck me in my sleep but waking me up. That meant I slept later than I intended.
The shower in the primary suite didn’t work, so I went upstairs as Dante was finishing his workout. Needless to say, I got sweaty with him before and during the shower we shared. Then I had to get ready.
Drew came to tell me Wyatt had my breakfast prepared. He took one look at the expression on my face and started helping me get dressed. Which meant it took twice as long as it would have taken me by myself.
But I can’t seem to help myself today. The last week was finals, and I was a mess. I told everyone to leave me alone so I could focus, but every now and then I’d pull one of them into a room to have a study break.
Or a stress reliever.
The guys have been great. Well mostly. Wyatt keeps adding to my punishments. To be delivered later since I’m too busy right now. I’m not sure what I’m up to, but it’s not going to be as fun as when it’s doled out a little at a time.
But that’s not something I need to worry about today. When I reach the kitchen, Wyatt sits at the table waiting for me.
“In the oven.” He gestures to it.
I stop and get my omelet out, bringing the plate over to the table and sitting across from him.
“Are you ready for this?” Wyatt leans with his elbows on the table.
I nod and my stomach churns.
“Trouble?”
It’s the end of school. I’m moving on to work. It’s a lot, but it’s time.
When I lift my gaze to his, he smiles softly. “We’ve talked, and since you have a few weeks before starting your job at Cliodhna, we’ve made arrangements to travel for a week.” He slides an envelope across the table.
“Travel?” I wipe my hands on my napkin and reach for it.
His dark eyes hold mine. “Somewhere nice and quiet where it will only be the five of us.”
I arch an eyebrow but my heart feels full. They planned a vacation while I was busy.
He glances at the envelope and I open it. It’s a graduation card. Inside, the guys have all signed with a little note about our trip to Kauai. We have an oceanfront house all to ourselves for seven days. Away from the more touristy areas.
“Thank you.” I put the card down.
“You’ve thought about your career obviously, but have you thought about our future more, Sara?” Wyatt leans back in his chair and watches me.
“Besides living here with you guys?” I know what he wants to know.
We’ve talked a little about how to go forward with our relationship.
It’s been almost a year. We’re not a normal couple or we’d be talking marriage plans right now.
How do I marry them all? How can I marry one of them and not all of them?
Mom’s asked, but I told her I need to graduate first.
Well, today I’m graduating. I can’t put it off forever.
Wyatt inhales. “We’re going to get through today. You’re going to graduate with honors and then we’ll have dinner with your family and then your graduation party with family and friends. This trip will be soon enough for us to talk about our future. Together.”
I release the breath I’ve been holding. I’ve been given a reprieve. At least until we go on our vacation.
Dante
We had time while Sara was busy with finals to research the perfect vacation house. So after we celebrate her graduation from college with family and friends, we pack and fly down to Hawaii.
When we arrive at the house in the evening, a butler comes out to take the luggage to our room. The housekeeper meets us at the door and offers us champagne or water. Sara takes a champagne glass and walks into the house.
It’s open to the ocean on the back wall and everywhere you look are windows displaying the view. The property is set back from the main road and has acres around it. It was a great find and a good investment opportunity for the four of us. Sara doesn’t know that this is now our vacation home.
“This is amazing!” She spins around in the light summer dress she wore for travel. Her red hair is pulled up in a bun. She turns to me with a bright smile.
I’ll never get tired of that smile. She’s happy.
“And I don’t have to do anything?” She arches an eyebrow at me.
I smile, but Finn shakes his head and smirks. “I wouldn’t say nothing, flower.”
“The rules apply here. Starting tomorrow, trouble.”
Her eyes widen on Wyatt as she looks at the housekeeper and the butler who came down for another bag. She steps in closer to Wyatt.
“But there are people here,” she says quietly.
Wyatt grabs the back of her neck and brings his face level with hers.
“They’re leaving after they make sure we’re settled.
There’s cooked food ready to heat for dinners in the refrigerator.
The maids will come through on Thursday while we’re out sunning ourselves on the private beach.
When I said I wanted you all to myself this week, I meant it. ”
She swallows because he hasn’t used any of his punishments that kept adding up while she was stressed out with finals.
“They’ll be gone in an hour, princess.” Drew leans against one of the columns. “I’d do what Wyatt says if you don’t want to add to your punishments. After all, you might want to sit at some point during our vacation, and that’s hard to do with a red backside.”
She narrows her eyes at Drew, but she’s also flushed with arousal. We haven’t had her alone like this with no commitments besides each other ever. We always had to work or something else would keep us from playing twenty-four seven, but not this week.
“Why wait for tomorrow?” Sara lifts an eyebrow as she reaches under her skirt and pulls off her panties. She walks across the marble floor and presses them into Wyatt’s chest. “For you, sir.”
I chuckle because she’s pressing Wyatt’s buttons on purpose. The tone of her sir was anything but submissive. They glare at each other because this is their foreplay. They’re both breathing heavier. Drew shakes his head and goes to intercept the housekeeper and the butler.
Finn sits in a chair. All he needs is popcorn to watch the show about to start.
There will be plenty of time for that tomorrow and the next day and the next day.
I come up behind Sara as Wyatt takes her panties from her. I scoop her up in my arms and take her out to the patio. Wyatt shoves her panties into his pocket and follows us. Finn groans but gets up to join us.
I set her on her feet and hold her against me as we take in the view. The roar of the ocean was loud in the house, but the crashing waves are even louder out here. For a few moments, we stand and breathe in the fresh air.
Sara relaxes back against me, her arms wrapped around mine. “It’s beautiful, boss.”
Drew joins us and nods to let me know the household staff is gone.
We have so many plans for this week, but most of them will be dictated by how Sara feels. But right now, I want her to relax.
“We have this all week, pip.” I draw in a breath. “Plenty of time to relax and fuck and make love until we have to go home.”
She sighs against me.
“But we also want to figure out where this is going.” We’ve come out to society, and while it’s been rocky at times, for the most part, people aren’t bothered.
There will always be people like Verity, who sneer at us, but there’s just as many people who are happy we’re happy.
Parents were a mixed bag of accepting or, like Drew’s parents, resigned.
Even if he’s sharing Sara with others, she’s still the right class of person for him to have a future with.
“You mean our future?” she asks.
“Yes, our future.” Finn steps in closer and takes Sara’s hand, holding it in his. “Are we content with where things are? How do we want things to move forward?”
“Do you marry one of us and commit to the rest of us?” Drew steps to her other side and takes her hand. “Or do we find a way to bind our lives together and have a commitment ceremony with our family and fuck the legal system?”
She laughs a little.
