Epilogue

Six months later

“Oh my, what a treat.” I murmured when I opened the blinds to my new bedroom and saw Jax right outside, sweaty and hard at work.

She was wearing a crop top and shorts with a backwards hat that I’d teased her about that morning. But I was eating my own words as I looked at her cleaning the pool as the sun shone down on her.

Behind her was the open sky, skyscrapers, and tall buildings. She looked positively radiant.

She turned to the side, her eyes catching mine.

Sending her a sly smile, I took a seat on the large, fluffy bed and shrugged off my green robe just a tiny bit.

She stopped, turning to face me completely, and, well, I made a show of running my hands up and down my body all while looking elsewhere.

The new room was everything I ever wanted. Deep wood with hand-painted accent walls, a chandelier I had searched high and low for, and a bed that hugged me just right when I slept.

And a lover who let me go crazy and fill our new apartment with everything and anything I saw fit.

I refused to move upstate. So instead, we bought the apartment of my dreams in a reasonable part of the city. I used the leftover money from the auction plus the money I got from him—part of the agreement for taking down that video was getting a lot of what I’d given him back.

We were close to both of our works. Close to Claire. And it was a very spacious three-bedroom apartment that was enough for us and a workspace. Jax was still trying to convince me to turn the extra room into some type of sex dungeon, but I was still not fully sold on the idea.

I undid the tie of my robe and bared myself to her. Enough so that she could see I wasn’t wearing anything, not enough to give it all away, but more than enough for her to disregard the task at hand and come to stand near the glass dividing us.

I got up, letting my robe open as I walked, and grabbed a toy from the dresser before sitting down with it.

Jax had already opened the door but was patiently waiting outside for me.

“Teasing me this early in the morning?” she asked with a sly tone.

“I should be asking you that.” I slid the fake cock through my folds.

I looked at her through hooded eyes as I teased my clit. I was already so wet from watching her outside that the toy glistened in the sunlight.

“By all means, continue,” I said breathlessly. “I didn’t mean to distract you from your work.”

Her eyes fell to my pussy as I started to shallowly fuck myself.

“How am I supposed to work when you’re like this? Plus, we’re having guests in a few hours. It won’t do to have you unsatisfied.”

I opened my mouth and let out a loud moan as I shoved the cock in all the way. Pleasure rushed through me, traveling all the way through my body.

“So… thoughtful,” I groaned and upped the pace. “Come, then. On your knees. You can’t touch, but you can get a front row seat to how crazy you make me.”

She walked in and carefully lowered herself to her knees in front of me, her hands grabbing my legs and forcing them open so she could get a better look.

“Fuck,” she groaned under her breath, her eyes directly on my cunt.

“Take a good look, baby, because today I won't let you touch it at all.”

Excitement lit up her face.

“I'll happily look and not touch. I'm here to serve you.”

I fucked myself harder, my orgasm coming up on me fast. I didn’t know if it was because of how good she looked or how intensely she was looking at me as I shoved the cock in my cunt, and I didn’t care. Either way, it was working for me.

I came with a cry, watching Jax look at my pussy as if it were the most delicious-looking prey and she were a predator.

I pulled the dildo out with a groan and lifted it to her. She needed no further instruction as she met my eyes and placed her lips over the cock.

“Touch yourself,” I ordered, slowly fucking the cock in and out of her mouth.

She let out a muffled groan as her hands slipped into her pants and she started rocking her fingers inside her, fucking herself in tandem.

She gagged a little as it went further back, but swallowed it greedily. Her eyes were wide, and she had that pleading look in her eyes that told me all she wanted to do was satisfy me.

“Now use this.” I gave her the dildo and leaned back.

She was quick to push her pants down just enough to place it under her before climbing onto it and slamming herself down with a cry.

Watching her was my newest favorite thing.

I had started playing around with making her do all the work as opposed to me doing it for her. It was cute to see how fast she would give up even though she was on her own… because she was still trying to please me.

And boy, was it pleasing me.

My fingertips came to my clit, and I ran fast horizontal strokes over it.

“Play with your nipple.”

She used her free hand to do as I asked while still slamming herself down on the cock. The obscene wet noises mixed with her moans were sending me into another orgasm.

“Come close. Drink up my orgasm.”

“Fuck, Mommy. Please.” She leaned forward while still rocking herself on the cock. “I’m going to come with you, Mommy.”

“Good.”

I rubbed myself harder, trying to race after my orgasm. After more than six months of being with her, sex and coming were second nature. I was in tune with my body and hers in a way I didn't think possible.

And I loved every minute of it.

“Tongue out.”

The gush of wetness came before my orgasm. She greedily caught as much as she could in her mouth.

“You taste so good! Fuck…”

When she came, my hand was there, grabbing her chin and forcing her to look up at me. My wetness all over her face. Her mouth open and groaning, eyes wide like she was seeing the sun for the first time. Seeing her like this was everything.

“You're so beautiful, baby girl,” I whispered and ran my hand down her face. “Now, let's see if we can get some cuddle time in before people start to show up?”

“Please.”

“Happily.”

I couldn't have asked for anything better.

Our new house was full of the people we loved.

Claire. Everyone we knew from the club. My friend Andy.

Emerson and her partner Pearl, both of them looking safe and content after Emerson’s stint in the hospital.

And then some girl named Mia that Jax insisted she didn't invite but still somehow showed up anyway.

Some people had brought gifts, so our counters were overflowing with plants and expensive new machines we would definitely use. But my favorite part of the night was hearing everyone talk about how beautifully we had made the place.

Claire leaned into me as we looked out over the balcony.

“I love you, Claire Bear. Thanks for coming.”

She squeezed my hand in hers. “I'm happy you're happy. But it's still a little weird for me.”

“I know. Thank you anyway.”

Understandably, Claire didn't want to spend lots of time with us together. She would occasionally meet both of us, but we still did our separate things, which meant that I kept my weekly meals with her, and Jax met her at least once every other week for whatever they wanted to do together.

I never really knew what that was, and I didn’t bother asking. It was important for both of us to keep our relationships alive.

“I like your hair, by the way.”

I took a few strands in my hand. She had dyed her ends blue and purple—surprising, given that she had never dyed it in any non-natural colors before. But it looked really good with the blonde.

It was dark outside, so I couldn't be sure, but I could swear I saw a blush on her face.

“I've been officially assigned to the rock stars,” she said with a sigh. “And I guess everyone—including them—thought that I needed to blend in a little bit.”

“Do you like it?”

“The hair? Yeah, I guess it's cool. Them? Debatable. Annoying and way too full of themselves.”

I couldn't help but laugh. Because even though it sounded like she was complaining, I could tell there was a lighter tone to her words.

“Well, I'm glad you have something to look forward to.”

I turned just in time to see a very familiar face coming through the door. Someone I hadn't seen in years.

“Stefan?” He caught my gaze and waved at me. “I'll be right back,” I told Claire.

Jax caught my eye, and as I went up to Stefan, she worked herself through the crowd so we could both meet him.

“Congrats!” he said, handing me a bouquet of pink flowers.

“Stefan! I'm surprised you showed up!” I replied, trying to not show how obviously uncomfortable I was.

He gave me a smile and then nodded at Jax but didn't really pay her any mind.

“Yeah, well, I'm here for two reasons. One, to obviously congratulate you, and two,” He handed me a set of keys and a document. “The gallery is officially yours! I decided to move on to other adventures, and, well, you're the only person I could think of to take it.”

I'm the only person who deserves it.

But I didn't say that. Instead, I acted as surprised as I truly felt.

“Oh my God, Stefan!” For an extra touch, I wrapped my arms around him. He patted my back and gave me a large smile when he pulled away.

“You’re welcome! It's the least I could do. You're the best employee I've ever had.”

“Thank you. I can't begin to tell you how much this means to me.” I motioned for Jax to come forward. “This is my partner, Jax.”

“Nice to meet you,” she said and extended her hand.

“Jax… I know that name.” He hesitantly reached out to shake her hand. “Oh, you’re the one who bou—”

“Well, make sure to enjoy the party!” she said quickly and pushed him off to where the drinks were.

But suspicion had already sunk in, so when she returned to my side, I gave her a look.

“Don't tell me…” I raised the key.

She gave me a sheepish smile. “I wanted to keep at least one secret. Just one! Do you always have to guess everything?”

I laughed and brought her into a hug.

“Normally, I would be mad if you did something like this.”

“I know you could've done it yourself,” she answered, holding me tight. “But you just spent so much money on the apartment, and it wasn't that expensive to buy the place after what happened, so—”

I stood up on my tiptoes and gave her a kiss on her lips.

“Thank you, baby girl. I love you.”

“I love you too. By the way, all the staff is rehired, and you may get one or two surprises in the back. Apparently, we saved some paintings.”

I don’t know how I got so lucky.

But before we could fully bask in the moment, Claire was behind us, gagging loudly and playfully. We laughed and turned to her. She already had two cups of wine ready.

“For the happy couple, I guess?”

We took them as she grabbed another and held it up.

“To the best, unconventional love.”

We clinked our glasses together and drank. I couldn't help but look at them with love and adoration.

This was everything I’d dreamed of. Home. My people. Love.

Whoever said happily ever afters only existed in fairytales was wrong. It had taken me a while, but it was worth it. This was mine. And it was forever.
