Thirty-Eight Dominic

Thirty-Eight

Dominic

S he knows.

Teagan knows what happened all those years ago between me and her father. And rather than be angry and rail at me like I suspected she might, she took part of the blame. I can’t believe it. She finally sees that I’m not the selfish bastard who walked away from her, but rather I’m the man who never gave up.

When she walked onto the court, looking dazzling in a tennis getup I hadn’t seen before, I kept my cool when I felt the opposite. I would have liked nothing better than to crush her in my arms while I plundered the sweet cavern of her mouth. But there’s no time.

After months of practicing, the day is finally here to find out if Teagan and I can bring home the win. But we’re not just fighting to beat our opponents. We’re fighting for so much more.

For a do-over.

For a new start.

One that begins with Teagan and I being open and honest with each other. This time, we will get it right.

I can’t wait for the game to begin because I’m going to play my heart out.
