The Covenant of Twin Venoms
The sea remembers what her children forgot.
Unity.
Leviathans born to tread through seafoam and shadow. Their fins shaped to sail upon tide and tempest, spawned with the wrath of the abyss etched in brine and bone.
She is limitless, and she abhors a divide.
Fills every crack with the relentless press of inevitable knowing. That a thing broken will mend with enough pressure. There will be an answer to the folly of ancient children who built an accord on the bones of their greatest mistake.
She will grant their restitution. The balance between the deepest dark and the moonlit shallows.
But it will be paid in salt and venom.
And it will unite what was broken.
The Covenant of Twin Venoms
Before a Siren’s lungs are filled with the brine of the sea, the Tide Bound suitor must name an Anchor.
One from open water.
The other from the deep abyss.
Opposing kingdoms joined in balance. From Deep to Shallow, the realms are bound through her.
For she belongs to the sea.
Born of her Tide Bound’s venom, the suitor is her beginning. He floods her veins with the salt of change, then drowns the flesh of the sun.
But what is awakened must find an Anchor. Rewritten by the twin venom, she will be transformed. Bound to both, she is the bridge rebuilt.
Her blood, the accord.
Her womb, the chalice.
A gleaming promise of rebirth, for through her, the sea will restore what was lost.
Thus, the children of Sirens may swim rival tides, and in their wake, serenity.
This is the Covenant of Twin Venoms
