Chapter 31 #2

Cassie stiffens, her fingers locking around mine, knuckles white. I can feel the fury vibrating through her skin, the kind that comes from years of swallowing it down. She’s five seconds from snapping, from turning around and telling them to fuck off, even if it gets her hurt.

Bryce laughs, that low, cruel sound.

“She’s got those good-girl eyes, but you just know she fucks dirty.”

Something ugly twists in my chest.

Cassie goes to whip around, fury written all over her, but I catch her arm fast.

“Don’t.” My voice is cold, a warning.

Then fast footsteps hit the pavement.

Bryce cuts us off, sliding in front of me with that smug, dead-eyed grin he always wears when he’s about to be a piece of shit.

Connor drifts in on the other side, close enough that I catch the sour stench of his body spray.

“She’s got that face. The kind you wanna wreck. Bet she cries real pretty.”

Liam’s behind us now. I catch the shift of his weight, his breath too close.

“Nah. She’s got a mouth I wanna have choking on my cock.”

Cassie stiffens beside me. She shifts, rage pouring off her in waves. She’s about to swing, and fuck, I don’t blame her. But I step in front of her, my shoulders squared.

“Get the fuck out of our way.” My voice is stern, sharp, nothing at all like how I feel on the inside.

Bryce leans in, too close, breath hot with that rotten smell of teeth that don’t get brushed.

“Don’t be a fucking bitch. You’d be real sweet if you dropped the act. Bet you’re soaked just being near us.”

I move to push past Bryce, but he shifts again, blocking me as if it’s a game.

Liam laughs. “I heard you let that shit heap Zane get between those pretty lips. Or are you still out here pretending your pussy is some untouched fucking shrine? I bet it isn’t. I bet you spread real easy once someone says the right thing. Girls like you always do.”

I don’t give him the satisfaction of a reply. Just hold his stare.

It’s all I’ve got left that doesn’t shake.

He reaches out, fingers aimed at my cheek. I twist away before he can touch me, jaw clenched so tight it hurts. My skin crawls just being this close.

Cassie has had enough.

“Touch her again and I’ll rip your dick off and feed it to my dog.” She cracks her knuckles. “He eats trash.”

“Shit. She’s mouthy,” Connor snorts. “You into that, Bryce?”

Bryce drops his gaze to my tits. “Only when they’re crying and begging for me to stop. That’s when they are at their hottest.”

The bile in my throat rises.

They are not just assholes. They are fucking monsters.

I need to get the fuck out of here with Cassie. Now.

Every instinct is screaming. I’m wracking my brain for a way out, for anything.

A distraction, any fucking gap in their formation I can shove us through.

But they are closing in.

And suddenly I’m boxed in.

My back hits something solid… Liam. His chest presses against me.

“Don’t fucking touch me,” I snap, voice cracking through the tension.

He laughs, close to my ear. “Relax, Sky. You should be flattered.”

Bryce runs a hand through his greasy hair, his eyes crawling down my body. “That mouth’s gonna get you in trouble, sweetheart.”

“She’s already in trouble,” Liam mutters, his breath near my neck. “Walking around town dressed like she’s begging for a good fucking.”

I spin around and shove at his chest, but he barely moves.

My skin burns when he gets too close.

Connor steps in, grin spreading, eyes flicking between me and his asshole buddies.

“You ever had three guys at once?” he asks, voice dripping filth. “Bet you’d love it.”

“Say that again, you limp-dick piece of shit,” Cassie snaps.

She shoves forward, but Bryce blocks her with an arm across her chest. He smirks, all teeth and arrogance.

“Easy, Princess,” he taunts. “You’ll get your turn.”

Cassie swings anyway, catching him off guard.

She tries to reach for me again, but it only makes things worse.

Liam laughs, darker this time, his hand snaking around my waist before he pulls me against him.

I almost vomit when I feel his hard cock against my ass. I slam my elbow back; he grunts, but he doesn’t let go.

“Get the fuck off me!” My heart’s pounding so loud I can barely hear my voice.

He leans closer, his lips ghosting my ear. “Keep fighting, baby. It just makes it more fun.”

And that’s when I know this isn’t just some joke gone too far.

This is fucking real.

And if I don’t find a way out soon, we’re fucked.

I twist hard, my shoulder slamming against Liam’s chest, but he only presses closer, his body a wall of heat.

His breath hits the side of my face.

“I bet your pussy’s tight as fuck,” he hisses, voice low. “Probably warm and dripping already.”

“Get the fuck off me!” I shove, nails scraping across his arm, but he doesn’t budge.

He laughs, the sound of it thick and cruel in my ear.

Out of the corner of my eye, I spot Cassie. Her face is pale; her hand trembles as she presses the phone tight against her ear.

My pulse spikes.

Smart girl. She’s calling someone.

The Police.

Zane maybe.

I don’t care who, as long as someone fucking comes and makes them stop.

But then Bryce notices. His smirk dies, eyes cutting toward her. He steps in fast, blocking my view.

“What the fuck do you think you are doing?”
