CHAPTER 22
Sutton
I looked around for Theo for the rest of the day but I never spotted him.
Even when I turned the camera back on and watched the tablet after dinner there was no sign of him.
It made me restless and cranky. I wanted to apologize to him for telling him to leave.
I knew he wouldn’t have hurt me. As twisted as it was, I didn’t care about what he’d done, not as long as he never got caught for it.
If he did hurt bad people to protect his family…
I could accept that. I just wouldn’t think about it.
I’d just started to fall asleep when the loud roar of a motorcycle came closer and closer to the house until it felt like it was directly under my window.
I went over and glanced down to find Leon parking his bike in the driveway but he didn’t shut it off.
He stood up and started poking around it but the sound was still there, as loud as ever.
The idea of him waking up the kids had me sliding my feet into my slippers and hurrying downstairs as fast as I dared. I stepped outside and felt the muggy heat and the painfully loud sound hit me square in the face. I winced and frowned at the combo.
Leon spotted me immediately and he crossed his arms while he waited for me to reach him and say what I needed to say. His smirk said he knew what I was going to say.
I had to shout for him to hear me over the motorcycle.
“Can you shut it off? It could wake the kids!”
He prowled the last few feet between us and gripped my waist before leaning down and pressing his lips to the shell of my ear.
“Ride with me.”
I gasped and pulled back enough to look him in the eyes.
“What did you say? I thought you asked me to ride with you but the loud motorcycle must be messing with my hearing.”
He licked his lips.
“I didn’t ask, sweetheart. Ride with me. It’ll be quieter for the kids here if we drive the bike somewhere else.”
I frowned and shook my head hard enough to dislodge my bun.
“No. No, no, no. I can’t. I’ve never. I—”
He pulled me closer and flashed me a smile that made my chest flutter. “Yes. You can. You will. Go change clothes. Do you own pants?”
“Of course, I own pants. Everyone owns pants.” I pressed my hands to his chest and slightly melted at the feeling of his warm body and pounding heart. Was he excited by the idea of me riding with him? “Do you… Do you really want me to?”
He worked his hands into my hair and nodded. “Yep.”
“You’ll keep me safe?” I nervously glanced at the bike that was still running loudly. It was a scary machine and I had no interest in losing parts of my skin if I fell off.
Leon’s face grew serious again and he gripped my head tighter to turn my face up to his.
“I promise.”
Oh. I swallowed and took a deep breath. “Okay.”
“Go change. If I have to come find you I’m going to spank that sexy ass red.” The gentle Leon was gone. He let out a deep moan. “Actually, if you want to skip the ride, I’d find spanking you even more enticing.”
“No! No, that’s okay.” I let out a shrill giggle and hurried back when he let me go. “I’ll go change and be right back. I promise.”
He smirked again and nodded his head towards the house.
“Better hurry.”
I’d never changed so fast in my life. It wasn’t that I didn’t find the idea of Leon spanking me enticing.
It was that I maybe found it a little too enticing.
When I arrived back at Leon’s motorcycle in less than three minutes, he glanced up and laughed.
It was a dark, rich sound that made my body sway towards his.
If he laughed more, he’d be a deadly weapon against my sanity.
“Come here.” He held out his hand and pulled me into his chest when I took it. He lifted a large helmet off the motorcycle and put it on me. When my head immediately wobbled to the side he grinned. “I’ll buy a helmet just for you. Tonight, you’ll just have to wear mine.”
He straddled the big machine and then gripped my hand to steady me as I awkwardly climbed on behind him.
Once I was on, I understood why some women liked to ride.
It was…intimate. I had to spread my thighs and scoot in close to wrap my arms around his waist. Then, when I hadn’t held on tight enough, Leon reached back and grabbed my hips to yank me forward until I was pressed against him so completely that my boobs were crushed against his back.
With the motorcycle vibrating under us I was very aware of every place our bodies touched.
“Hold on tight.” He shouted over the revving of his engine before pulling out of the drive. When I screamed and clutched him even tighter he laughed again. I barely caught the sound before the wind whipped it away. “Just move with me.”
I panicked about what the heck that meant as he sped up but quickly understood when he took the first turn.
His big body leaned with the bike and I naturally went with him.
For my efforts I got a pat on the outer thigh.
I was painfully stiff as he continued to pick up speed until it felt like we were flying.
I kept my eyes squeezed shut as I waited for the crash but when the crash never came, I was forced to relax a little.
Bit by bit my body loosened up. It took a while for me to open my eyes but when I did, I felt a sense of awe wash over me.
The sky overhead was bright with stars and a crescent moon, the road we were on was empty with trees on either side making it feel tucked in.
The scenery flew by but those stars stayed where they were, bright as ever.
Leon must’ve felt me relax against him because he reached back and gripped my leg, giving it a squeeze and then just rested his hand there.
I still gripped him tight around his waist but I unlocked my hands to splay them across his stomach.
I felt him shudder when I stroked my thumbs over a hard ridge of muscle and that shudder reconnected the wires in my brain and allowed me to feel more than that initial fear.
I was turned on. The vibrations, his hand on my leg, the feel of his big body between my thighs, the way his stomach muscles clenched and unclenched when I stroked them… it all hit me at once.
I forgot the stars. I forgot the trees whooshing by.
I forgot everything but the man in front of me.
He went faster, a twist of his wrist making the engine roar with power.
My heart thumped wildly against his back and a hint of the fear came back but never enough to make me forget the wild arousal coursing through my veins.
I didn’t know who I was becoming but every day I spent in their house I found that arousal more and more often choking me.
I felt needy in ways I didn’t even understand.
I’d let Dominic touch me between my thighs and allowed Theo watch me masturbate before I’d ever been kissed. What would I do after losing that first to Dominic earlier that day?
When Leon pulled into the garage a while later and shut off the motorcycle, I stumbled off in a mess of numb legs and shaking hands.
I meant to run. I’d had more fun than I could remember having on the back of Leon’s bike and I was eager to touch and be touched but I couldn’t get over just how far I was going and how fast I was doing it.
The fear of becoming my mom still terrified me but when Leon swung his leg over the bike and just sat there, watching me, my brain quieted.
I didn’t know what I was doing. I was sure Dominic had been disappointed by my kiss but I needed to connect with Leon in that way.
I hurried to stand between his thighs and grabbed his face.
I kissed him too hard. The force of it made my teeth bite into my inner lip and I started to pull away but Leon growled and took over.
His kiss was just as hard, but it was focused. He gripped the back of my head and held me where he wanted me. I was already flying high when he opened his mouth and stroked my lips with his tongue. Dominic hadn’t done that. Leon pulled back enough to speak.
“Open your mouth, Angel.”
I did as he said and then gasped when he kissed me again and stroked his tongue into my mouth.
I shyly followed what he did and brushed his tongue with my own.
The feeling was somehow naughtier than watching the couple have sex at the club.
The way his tongue teased and stroked mine, the sounds he made when I closed my lips around his tongue and sucked, the desperate way I shifted my hips back and forth as I tried to ease some of the pressure between my thighs…
it was erotic. I was inhaling and exhaling the same air as Leon, tasting his breath, feeling his hands pull at my hair.
It was the urge I felt to bite down on his bottom lip that snapped me back to reality.
The moment my teeth sank into his surprisingly plush bottom lip and he hissed in pain, I yanked myself away from him and stared with my hand pressed over my mouth as he reached up and wiped a spot of blood from his mouth.
“I-I’m so sorry! I didn’t mean to—”
Leon stood up and the look on his face sent me running. He was a starving bear and I was a little honey snack. “Smart girl. A second more and I would’ve had you bent over this bike, screaming as I tore through your innocence.”
I tossed one last apology over my shoulder as I escaped into the house and raced upstairs to my room. I hurriedly changed into my pajamas and crawled into bed with the smells of the night and Leon still clinging to my skin.
Instead of being horrified that I’d just made Leon bleed, or proud of how brave I’d been on the back of his motorcycle, I found myself wrestling with thoughts of Theo and what his kiss would be like.
