Chapter 1
Lila
“Nice stash.” Harlee snickered.
I winked at her.
Tatum snickered.
Harlee reached for the Snickers, unwrapped it, and then shoved the whole thing in her mouth.
Talia snorted, “You get a lot of practice on shoving little things in your mouth... don’t you?”
Harlee smirked, “Well... I wouldn’t say it’s little. I mean... how big would you call it if it takes up my mouth, and both fists?”
Talia gaped, then she gagged, “Ew! I don’t need to know anything about what my brother is packing. Gross!”
“I mean... I think it’s all in the family,” Tatum snickered.
Cassie snorted, “I think y’all are both right.”
Talia sneered, “Y’all are the worst friends in the entire world.”
I wrapped an arm around her waist and pulled her into my side, “Have no fear. You have one friend who doesn’t know anything about how big your brothers’ dicks are.”
Talia snorted then nodded, “Thanks, friend.”
“Make that two of us,” Everly smiled.
Tonight was girls’ night.
It was something Harlee, Talia, and I had started years ago.
Only now, we added Cassie, who was married to Talia’s brother, Alec.
We also added Tatum, who was married to Garrick, another one of Talia’s brothers.
And we added Everly, who worked with Harlee and Cassie at Fusion. Fusion was the business that Harlee had started a few years ago, and it was hella popular.

Ethan – Since Melanie is a girl, why couldn’t she join y’all?
Alec – Have you met our women?
Garrick – I know you’re not talkin’ bout my woman.
Carter – Bro.... Tatum is sweet and all, but....
Garrick – What you tryin’ to say?
Talia – He’s saying that when you're not around... Tatum can get a little spicy.
Garrick – Well, I know just how spicy my woman can be. Somethin’ none of you need to know about.
Talia – Oh hell. I so didn’t need to know that.
Talia – Just like I didn’t need to know about how big y’all’s dicks are.
Carter – What.
Garrick – The.
Alec – Fuck.
Ethan – Oh. Shit.
Seeing their phones blowing up, I hadn’t meant to take a sip of my wine and then snort it out through my nose.
“Ow! Oh, that burns. Fuck a duck.” I said.
The girls started laughing their asses off.
“We really need to start talking about something else before I’m forced to tell y’all about Dom’s piercing, which he got a few months ago, so he could make sure I would never stray,” Talia smirked.
Then she muttered, “Fuck.”
Every pair of eyes flitted her way.
At the sight of the pink color on her cheeks, every pair of eyebrows raised.
Harlee swiped at something, and then her thumbs started moving over the keyboard.

Harlee added Talia, Tatum, Cassie, Everly, Lila, and Dominik
Harlee – Dominik?
Tatum – Yo! Dom!
Me – .... ummmmm.
Cassie – So... maybe you can take Alec with you next time.
Talia – Again, something else I didn’t need to know about.
Dominik – What the fuck is going on?
Harlee – Did it hurt?
Dominik – When I fell from heaven? Yeah.
Me – Was it painful?
Dominik – When I slid my cock into her tight, wet pussy? Nope.
Cassie – This is so wrong.
Talia – Dominik!
Dominik – What, Sparkles?
Dominik – When y’all get together... It’s frightening.
Harlee – True.
Me – It is.
Cassie – Can’t say no to that.
Tatum – I have to agree.
Talia – True.
Talia – I was telling them about the piercing you got to make sure you were all the man I would ever need.
Dominik – Oh. Well... yeah. Makin’ sure the woman of my dreams stays with me. Nothing I won’t do.
I sighed.
Everly did it with me.
“Good man, you got there,” Tatum smiled.
Talia grinned, “I know, right!”
We all took sips of our wine.
“Okay, so since we’re taken and taken by the best of the best, we need to find men for you and you,” Harlee said as she pointed to Everly and me.
Everly shook her head and then let out a squeak, “No thanks.”
And once again, every pair of eyes spun to her.
“Do tell.” Talia purred.
Everly’s cheeks went from a light pink to a darker one.
“Everly.... What aren’t you telling us?” Tatum asked.
Everly looked at all of us and then sighed, reached for her phone, hit some buttons, and then brought the phone to her ear.
We all seemed to sit there with bated breath, until a slow smile spread across Everly’s face, “Hey, back.”
She was quiet, and then she bit her lip and nodded.
Then she said, “So the reason that I’m calling is that Harlee said that the girls needed to find men for Lila and me.”
She was quiet again, no doubt listening to whoever she had called.
Then she nodded, pulled her phone away from her ear, and then hit a button, “Okay, Deacon, you're on speaker.”
And then we all heard it.
A voice that seemed to be that southern rasp that makes your panties dampen.
“She’s my Everly. Try to set her up with someone else... I was raised to never hit a woman... but she’s told me all about y’all’s men... I don’t think I have anything else to add to that... do I?”
Even though I wasn’t in the wrong, I blushed.
No words were spoken.
Then we all heard, “Right. Babe, off.”
Everly hit the speaker button, then brought the phone back to her ear. “K.”
She listened for more, and then she smiled widely. “K. Miss you too.”
As soon as she hung up, we all asked, as if it had been choreographed.... “Picture.”
And at the sight of the man that Everly had shown us... We immediately bombarded her with questions.
He was dark-haired, blue-eyed, tats for days, and pierced in both ears.
Pillowy lips.
A hard jaw...
I whistled.
Everly sighed.
“If I wasn’t madly in love with Carter...” Harlee trailed off.
“If I wasn’t hopelessly enamored with Garrick...” Tatum too trailed off.
“Way to go, Sister,” Cassie beamed.
Everly smiled.
The rest of the night, we all talked about our weekly plans, things we were doing, and making plans for the following week.
And since when we all got together, the booze flowed.
I waved at their men as they all came to collect them, except for Everly.
She caught a ride with Carter and Harlee.
And the moment I closed the door; I pressed my forehead against it.
I kind of felt bad for allowing Everly to have the spotlight for that whole conversation.
Because it kept their gazes and their thoughts off of me.
Until my phone pinged.
Well... shit.

Harlee – Lila... don’t think I forgot about you.
Talia – Oh yeah.
Tatum – This is going to be fun.
Cassie – Alec has some single friends.
Me – Thanks but no.
Cassie – I’ll start thinking about who a good match would be.
Tatum – I’m thinking Wolf.
Cassie – Hyde.
Everly – Jekyll.
My phone kept pinging back and forth, but I slid it into my pocket.
They didn’t know.
And I wouldn’t tell them unless it was absolutely necessary.

After staring at the contents of my fridge, I groaned.
It was time to head to the grocery store before I had to get to my appointment.
Or else I wouldn’t have food for the week.
And since I loved food, that was a crime in and of itself.
I had just parked my car on the side of the building when I heard it... and I froze mid-step.
“I’m tired of talking about this shit. Told you, I’m done.”
I had thought that hearing Deacon’s voice, the man who had claimed Everly was all kinds of sexy... but it had nothing on this man’s voice.
My ears strained to listen even harder.
A voice that sounded as if it was made of molten, liquid, raspy, sexiness.
Not the kind of voice that will make your panties dampen, but the kind that will make your panties... wet.
I have an appointment after this grocery run... this is going to suck.
But... maybe... just maybe if I can lock eyes with the man behind the voice, it might help?
He could be the ugliest man on the planet.
Or... he could be the sexiest man alive.
The kind of sexiest man that women drop to their knees for.
The kind of man who brings all the girls to the yard.
The kind of man who you could stare at for the rest of your life and never grow tired of it.
Sadly... or rather... thankfully, by the time I had moved to pair that voice with a face, there was no one there.
I sighed.
Maybe that was the first... for sure.
I knew it was the right thought as I moved through the aisles getting the things I needed.
Once I checked out, I loaded everything up, took it to my little two-bedroom cottage on the outskirts of town, and then I unloaded everything, then checked the time.

I white-knuckled the paper that was underneath my bottom as I waited for the Doctor to come into the room.
