Chapter 33

NOAH

When I’d asked Ace to come skydiving, I’d taken a guess that he was experienced enough that he wouldn’t be a liability.

My logic went like this: Skye had been a member of his team for nearly two years, and there was no way he had been content to jump alone all this time.

He was too much of an extrovert and thrived on other people’s energy.

Thankfully, I’d guessed correctly, and he actually turned out to be really good company.

He understood when I talked through my plan for the jump, then actually kept me in frame during free fall so the process of clipping it together into a Byte was a breeze.

I’d worn a fully branded Hot Falcon sweater, my sponsored helmet, and even went so far as sharing a can of Hot Falcon Ice Blue with Ace on the little plane ride up to altitude.

“You’re cool with me including you in this?” I double--checked, showing him the selfie shot of us laughing and joking as we drank the bright--blue energy drink on the plane.

Ace leaned in to take a better look, our shoulders pressing together and his fingers gently touching mine when he reached for my phone. “Yeah, it’s cute. I can repost to my account, too. Surely that will appease the corporate gods of Hot Falcon?”

“They’ll be frothing,” I agreed with a laugh, taking my phone back to finish the edit and get it posted before we even arrived back at Mount Olympus. One of the perks of having Olympus Corp contacts—-the airfield had sent us a driver, and all our gear had been handled by their staff.

In fairness, paranoia about the three dead influencers had been playing in my mind when we’d arrived, so I spent ages double--checking our gear myself to ensure everything was as it should be, which meant it was already dark when we got home.

Z was on his way out the door as our driver departed, and he gave us a little head bob of greeting. “You guys have fun? I already Cliked and hearted the Byte, Rocky.”

“Thanks, Z, you’re the best,” I replied with a wide grin. I was still riding the delicious adrenaline high of our skydive and probably wouldn’t come down off it for hours yet. I was practically buzzing, and almost nothing could bring me down.

Z gave me an amused look, then tipped his head toward Ace. “I’m heading out. Don’t wait up.” He said it with a wink, clapping Ace on the shoulder before swinging his leather jacket over his shoulder and swaggering down the circular driveway to where his car was parked.

“I thought he was breaking up with Tess,” I said before I could think better of it.

Ace’s brows lifted with surprise. “News to me. Pretty sure they already have a wedding venue booked.”

That soured my mood somewhat, and I noticed how intensely Ace was watching my reaction. Why? Did he think I had a crush on Z? That was absurd.

Absurdly true, unfortunately. What could I say? I was only human, and Z was hotter than the damn sun.

Not wanting to make Ace paranoid—-because I was never going to act on that little crush—-I just shrugged and headed inside, leaving him to follow along behind.

“Hey, you’re back.” Augie greeted us from the living room, where he lay on the sofa with Torin, watching a movie about a big, fluffy dog. “We saved you some dinner if you’re hungry. It’s in the oven.”

“Thanks, Augie,” I replied with a grateful smile. “We did get burgers on the way home but appreciate the thought.”

“I’m going to go work on a Mount Olympus episode,” Ace announced, taking off his sneakers and leaving them on the shoe rack in the foyer.

He was very particular like that, so I had made an effort not to wear shoes in our bedroom since we started sharing.

“Anyone have anything they desperately need cut out?”

“Yes!” Torin said from the couch, sitting up to look at Ace. “If we’re using the footage from the skate sessions, I ripped my shorts on Tuesday, and I’m pretty sure Augie’s cam caught a whole flash of my ass crack.”

I snort--laughed, shaking my head while Ace rolled his eyes.

“Obviously I was going to make that the still--frame promo for the episode, idiot.” Ace sighed, running a hand through his hair. “Okay, if anyone thinks of anything, you know where to find me.”

“I’ll bring you snacks before I go to bed,” Augie told him, already turning his attention back to the movie.

“Short Stack, want to join us?” Torin asked, tipping his head back to look at me. “We have popcorn.”

It was tempting, but from the corner of my eye I caught August’s irritated eye roll, so I shook my head.

“Thanks, but no. I need to shower and sleep.” I headed back toward the stairs with Ace, leaving my own shoes beside his.

“Thanks for your help, Boss. Do you need help with the episode editing?” It was the least I could do.

He shook his head. “Nah, not at this stage. It’s pretty boring until I narrow down the clips a bit. Maybe you can check out where I’m at after you wake up in the morning?”

“Okay, I can do that.”

His answering smile did silly things to my insides. “Thanks, Eight. Sweet dreams.”

Fuck me dead, was he trying to play with my emotions?

Biting my lip, I quickly ducked into our shared bedroom and closed the door firmly to stop myself doing something insane like running back out there and kissing him. Because the mixed signals he’d been giving lately were enough to churn butter.

Shower. I needed a shower.

Knowing Ace would be gone all night in his editing cave, I felt comfortable enough to strip out of my clothes and chest binder before heading into the attached bathroom to start the shower running.

Even with the white noise of the running water, I felt…

jittery. Too much adrenaline and not enough sex?

Maybe I needed to take things analog and get myself off in the shower without any of my usual battery--operated helpers.

With that in mind, I pulled up a playlist on my phone and connected to the bathroom speakers to play some music while I showered, just in case Ace came back to the room to get something and heard me moaning his name in the shower.

Whoops, not his name. Minnie’s, most likely, or Tor’s. Or both.

I’d barely started shampooing my hair—-because flicking the bean needed to wait until my hair was washed—-when the main bathroom light shut off, leaving only the mirror lamp to light the room. A moment later, the shower door opened, and I nearly jumped clean out of my skin with terror.

My first thought was that I was about to be murdered on someone’s live stream, and the tragic way that the remainder of my team discovered I was a woman would be my blood--soaked tits as my throat got slit open.

My second thought was that Ace had somehow not noticed I was in there and had come to shower? Weird, but sure, that’s where my mind went.

To my intense relief, it was neither of those scenarios.

“What the hell? You scared the life out of me!” I exclaimed, even as I reached out a hand in invitation for him to join me.

Minho grinned, taking my hand and letting me pull him under the water. “I heard Ace was heading to his editing cave and thought I’d take advantage of the rare moment of privacy. I miss you, Chicken.”

I looped my arms around his neck, drawing him in close as he smoothed his hands down my wet ribs to hold my waist. “You see me every day, Minnie. How can you miss me?” I was teasing because I knew exactly what he meant.

Our brief moments of alone time had been far too short since Camp Beaver, and it constantly felt like someone was waiting to cockblock.

“I see you every day, but not like this,” he murmured, bending his neck to catch my lips in a kiss.

“I’ve been going out of my mind with the need to get my hands on you like this again.

Fuck, Noah, you’re exquisite…” He trailed his hands over my flesh like he was committing every inch to memory, and I shivered with delight.

It was the first time I’d actually seen him completely naked, and I found myself wishing he hadn’t turned the main lights off so I could see him better.

Still, there was enough light that I could happily explore all the hard lines of his slim, muscular frame and appreciate the flex of his abs when I wrapped my hand around his thick cock.

His breathy moan was my favorite music as he braced his tattoo--covered arm against the shower wall behind me, leaning forward as I stroked him, my grip firm and my nipples harder than stone while I explored.

We had time. Ace had been true to his word about leaving me alone at night and wouldn’t return until nearly dawn. So there was no rush.

“Chicken, you’re killing me,” Minho gasped breathlessly, his expression tortured as my other hand cupped his balls, gently playing with them as I worked his shaft. “I came in here to worship you, not—-”

Whatever he was going to say turned into a strangled moan as I dropped to my knees and wrapped my lips around his thick crown.

As shitty as seeing that video on Xavier’s TV had made me feel, I really did love sucking dick.

There was so much power behind it. So much trust, having a man’s most precious appendage between my lips.

Between my teeth, should he piss me off.

Did that make me a little bit fucked--up? Maybe.

“Holy fuck,” Minho gasped, his fingers tangling in my hair and encouraging me to take him deeper as the shower sluiced over our naked bodies.

Unlike Tor, who’d been pretty happy to let me do whatever I wanted while sucking his dick, Minho wanted to control the pace by fucking my face, so I let him and silently sent thanks for the fact I no longer wore mascara or it’d be a mess down my face for how hard he made my eyes water.

“Shit! Nope, that’s not—-” He used his grip on my wet hair to pull back, withdrawing from my mouth entirely and making me pout up at him with watery eyes.

Minho wasn’t fooled, though, laughing breathily as he tugged me back to my feet. “Tempting, Chicken. So fucking tempting. But I don’t know how long it’ll be before I get you alone again, and I need to be inside you.”
