Chapter 46

CHRISTINE SPENCER

Halloween night, twenty-three years ago

The night is cold, and the cemetery is empty, save for a few animals that are still brave enough to be out this late.

Even through the darkness, I can find my way here now like it’s my home away from home.

It pretty much is. This is where we feel the most comfortable to be ourselves, me and Andrew.

His brother and Benjamin too, who I sometimes belong to as well.

I’ve been crowned the name of the Hallows Girl, even though Andrew says he never imagined their group involving any members outside of the three of them.

I guess that’s what you get when you fall in love, right? All your expectations fade away and become something different.

You end up sharing your life and your space with the person you hold dear.

That’s what he is, Andrew, he’s my everything—my life and my soulmate. But instead of being cruel to me now, he lets me wear the crown of his queen and lead alongside him.

Aaron and Benjamin didn’t like it much at first, but since Andrew isn’t selfish with me, they’ve learned to accept me into their family too.

When the boys told me I could be chosen again this year, it sounded like a good idea. That is, until I started to really think about it.

The Games are supposed to be about being free for one night a year, aren’t they? Why waste our one night on activities that we engage in any other day of the year?

No, we needed to choose someone else, find someone to bring into the darkness with us, create a story to tell the future generations that will inspire risk in them.

Megan was the obvious choice, my best friend who needed to see that I wasn’t crazy for falling into this. I presented the idea to Andrew, and when he accepted it, we told Aaron and Benjamin together.

We’ll bring Megan into this world, show her exactly why we’re here, and she’ll finally accept me again. After over a decade of friendship, don’t I at least deserve the chance to speak my truth to her? It shouldn’t have been so easy for her to walk away from me.

Andrew had the idea for me to come into the crypt after they’d already started with Megan, surprise her and make her feel more comfortable.

He needed that element of power beforehand, though. That I know. Andrew is nothing if he isn’t in control, leading, commanding.

As I reach the back edge of the cemetery, where the old Blackmore crypts are, I hear screaming. My blood heats, and my feet move quicker.

Surely, Megan must know no one will hear her out here.

We’re too far out and it’s too late. She’s completely at our mercy, and I think that’s the most exciting part.

Pushing into the crypt, candlelight hits my face at the same time I see Megan, and her eyes seek me out. She’s tied to the bed, her arms and legs restrained, in nothing but her panties and bra, and she has tears sliding down her cheeks.

“Christine!” she shouts as I step into the crypt and close the door behind me. “You have to help me!”

My panties turn slick, so I breeze across the space and kiss Andrew, my hands finding his bare chest burning hot.

“Hi, my love,” I breathe, looking up into his dark, bloodshot eyes.

His fingers tangle in my hair, but he looks over my head at Megan. “She’s a screamer, it seems.”

Giggling, I nod. “I heard her from outside.”

“Christine!” Megan shouts again, and I pull from Andrew to look at her. “Please…”

I smile at her, love warming my gaze. “It’s okay, Meg.” Walking across the space slowly, I climb atop the bed in between her legs, making the old mattress creak under my weight.

“Just let me go. I won’t tell anyone,” Megan cries now, her heavy breasts lifting and falling.

I snuggle down with her, putting my head in the crook of her neck and wrapping my arm around her center like we used to do when we were little. “Tell anyone what, Meg? It’s okay, I promise. I’m here now. I’ll never let anything happen to you.”

“Chris, they took my clothes… They tied me up. Please. Just let me go,” Megan whispers, and I stroke her skin with my fingers.

“I can’t, Meg. We need this, okay? You and me. Don’t you love me?” I say, then I feel Andrew kneeling on the mattress next to me.

“Enough, please, Christine. Get up and go sit down,” Andrew says, and I find his searing gaze. He points across the crypt, where Aaron and Benjamin are seated on one of the couches. “Now.”

Nodding, I kiss Megan on the cheek. “Everything’s okay, Meg.”

I get up, walk across the space, and sit down on the couch.

Benjamin and Aaron are holding hands, both in only their tight briefs, and I lean my head on Aaron’s shoulder as we watch Andrew climb between Megan’s spread open legs to start cutting off the last of her clothing.

“No!” Megan screams and thrashes against the restraints. “No!”

“Meg, please,” I whisper under my breath, praying, hoping she accepts them, lets them inside her and falls into this world we’ve created. I need her—I need my best friend back.

“Christine,” Andrew says, turning to look at me, “maybe it’ll be better if you help.”

My mouth waters, and I stand up to walk back over to the bed.

“You’ll need to talk to her,” Andrew says into my ear quietly, so no one else can hear him, like it’s our secret to share. “Persuade her to say yes. The rules.”

Understanding, I nod then lie down with Megan.

Her big blue eyes find mine, tears streaming down her face.

“Meg, please, I promise everything is okay. You’ll like it, I promise. I miss you so much, and all I want is for you to be back in my life. Please. Just say yes.” I put my hand around her jaw and kiss her forehead. “I love you so much. I would never let anyone hurt you.”

“You’ve let him brainwash you, Chris,” Meg cries softly, “I don’t even recognize you anymore.”

I smile at her. “Do you miss me, Meg?”

She nods reluctantly, pressing her lips together.

“So do this with me. Let me show you how good it can be. Let me back into your life.”

She’s silent for a long moment, then she nods, her voice a small whisper that feels forced. “Okay.”

I feel heat blooming on my cheeks as I slide my hand down her stomach slowly, between her legs and through her pussy. “C’mon, Meg. I’ll get you ready for them, okay?”

Megan’s teeth press down onto her lip, but she nods, lifting her pelvis slightly to let me stroke her clit. I tease her until she’s a whimpering mess, her pussy gushing fluid that coats my fingers.

I don’t notice Andrew positioning himself between her legs until he’s sliding inside her, then she’s groaning louder.

Andrew pushes my hand away from Meg, and I find his eyes as he thrusts between her legs. He smiles, his face creasing with pleasure as he fucks her.

Giggling, I bring Megan’s face to mine. “Doesn’t he feel good? He’ll make you come so hard, Meg. Just let go.”

Megan tugs on the restraints, her back arching, then Andrew is grabbing her throat until her face turns red.

“Go sit down, Christine,” Andrew grunts, and I feel moisture drip between my legs as I get up and walk back to Benjamin and Aaron.

I sit down, watching from the small distance as Andrew thrusts into Megan.

I can’t see much. I can only hear the slickness between them and the sounds from their mouths. It turns my panties to a drenched mess, and as Aaron gets up to cross the space and join his brother, I grip onto Benjamin’s forearm and bite my lip.

Closing my eyes, I let darkness wash over me as my other senses take the driver’s seat—the sounds of two of the Hallows Boys with my best friend, the smell of the burning candles, the faint taste of beer in my mouth from the kiss I shared with Andrew only moments ago, the feel of Benjamin’s skin under my fingernails.

It isn’t so much about being in this round of Games, as I don’t need to be touched or do the touching. I just thrive in this setting. The erotic darkness, the intense thrill of need that runs through me in this place.

Benjamin kisses the top of my head as he gets up to join his brothers and Megan, and I’m left sitting on the couch by myself.

Opening my eyes, I watch the best I can from this angle.

All three of them touching her, taking turns fucking her, using her for their own pleasure.

I feel so fucking proud, so loved and in charge, like I’m finally going to get my best friend back.

Like she’ll finally be a part of this family.

I start to imagine where she’ll fit into our relationship.

Will we be together too? Or will the boys enjoy her like they all enjoy me?

Will we all grow old together, raising kids and blending our families to create a new Blackmore? A Blackmore who’s rid of judgement, of hate, one who Aaron and Benjamin can be together in and be proud of?

I’m pulled from my thoughts when I hear a shout, and I realize I’ve closed my eyes again as my fantasies took over like their own universe. “Christine! Oh my god, Christine, get over here! Oh my god!”

My eyes snap open, and I fly across the room to where Benjamin is shouting. How long have I been sitting there in my own world? All four of them are naked, except for the blood that covers their skin—red and dark and everywhere.

Benjamin is pressing his hands to Megan’s neck, to the slit that’s now sliced into her milky skin, where blood is spurting. My stomach turns leaden, like it’s going to fall straight from my gut out my ass.

I look around, finding Aaron’s panicked gaze, his face splattered with blood as he screams, then I seek out Andrew, looking for strength, but I find his face dripping with a sheet of blood, his mouth spread into a smile as he continues to thrust between Megan’s legs, a knife in his hand.
