Chapter 35
Chapter Thirty-Five
Jasper
“Fuckkk, you feel good.” Chesney’s grip on my hips is bruising as he pulls out to the tip before plunging back in again.
My hands curl into fists in the bedsheets, a broken moan clawing up my throat that I couldn’t hold back even if I tried.
Pleasure vibrates through my body as Chesney fucks me harder into the mattress, taking me higher and higher.
The slight curve to his cock allows him to stroke my prostate deliciously with each brutal thrust. My back arches, and I throw my head back into the pillow.
Sweat drips down my nape, my body an inferno for him.
I know we have to get up soon, but not yet.
Not when Chesney’s ravaging me like he can’t control himself.
My cock rests stiff and heavy against my stomach, arousal spilling from the tip, making a sticky mess over my skin.
I’ve been turned on since the moment I woke up, and it’s only gotten more intense the longer he’s on top of me.
“Yes,” I gasp, my eyes rolling back as another wave of pleasure crashes into me. “Fuck, Chesney… Don’t stop.”
Heat spreads through my veins like wildfire.
I can’t get enough. It’s too good—he’s too good.
My pulse thrashes as my chest heaves. I can’t think with the way he’s making me feel.
I’m desperate, needy. I’m living and breathing all that Chesney’s giving to me.
It’s like he knows my body better than I do, effortlessly working me until I can hardly take any more.
Dark, heated eyes hold mine, Chesney’s jaw slack as he groans with every thrust. He rakes his nails down my thighs, the slight bite of pain only heightening the euphoria flowing through my bloodstream.
My balls ache, and my cock throbs as he wraps a large, rough hand around me and pumps in time with his thrusts.
“Oh, god…” I look down, the sight of my swollen, pink tip slipping through Chesney’s tight fist is too much.
“Yeah, you fucking like that, don’t you?” he growls.
“Fuck… Yes…” I gasp for air as my heart thunders. “I’m so…f-fucking…close.”
My hips undulate of their own accord, simultaneously bucking into his hand and grinding on his thick, meaty cock buried in my ass.
I’m desperate. I need more. Need all of him.
A few more brutal thrusts are all it takes to unravel me.
My release plunders through me like a tsunami, stealing every coherent thought until all that’s left is Chesney and the power he has over me.
It swallows me whole until I no longer know where I end and he begins.
Thick, hot cum explodes all over my chest, my voice hoarse crying out.
My muscles are tight, I’m covered in sweat, and my release goes on and on and fucking on.
I’m in ecstasy as he drains every last drop from my body.
Once it finally stops, Chesney drags two fingers through the mess, bringing them up to my mouth.
He slides the cum-drenched digits over my tongue, and I hungrily wrap my lips around them and suck them clean.
A groan rumbles from his chest as Chesney bares his teeth and fucks me harder.
His chest glistens with sweat, and his cheeks are flushed.
He can hardly hold his eyes open. I know he’s close.
Chesney slams into me once…twice…three more times before his jaw relaxes and his eyes roll back.
Holding my gaze, his thick cock pulsates in my ass a moment later as his release crashes into him and he empties himself deep inside me.
Leaning down, Chesney brings his mouth to mine, kissing me softly before collapsing onto the bed beside me. His chest heaves as he sucks in deep, ragged breaths. “Holy shit.”
“That was…”
“Fucking spectacular,” he finishes for me.
“Yes. So much yes.”
Chesney rolls onto his side, his face only inches from mine. Blue eyes sparkle as a warm smile tugs at his mouth. “Happy Thanksgiving.”
A snort escapes me. “Happy Thanksgiving.” I press another quick kiss to his mouth. “I know what I’m thankful for today.”
Barking out a laugh, Chesney rolls out of bed and saunters toward the bathroom, while I enjoy the view.
The shower kicks on a minute later, and I take that as my cue to get out of bed too.
I step in behind him, the water just right as it beats down on us.
We take our time washing each other, and once we’re dried off and dressed, we make our way into the kitchen.
Chesney pops some bread in the toaster, while I get the coffee going. Eventually, we’ll have to head over to his place. We’re doing a nice Thanksgiving feast over there, with the help of Truett. But for now, we’re enjoying a slow and lazy morning.
The months since the merger began haven’t been easy. We’ve dealt with construction delays, bank meetings, permit nightmares, impossibly long days, and even longer nights. But through it all, we’ve never stopped finding our way back to each other.
I hand Chesney a coffee mug, then brush a loose strand of hair off his forehead. “You know… I’ve become quite fond of waking up next to you.”
His smile reaches his eyes, and it’s impossible to miss the pink splashing his cheeks.
“You and me both.” Chesney brings his hand to the back of my neck before leaning in and drawing me into a slow, lingering kiss I never want to end.
When he pulls back, he rests his forehead against mine, and we breathe each other in for a moment. “We should get going.”
I roll my eyes teasingly. “You’re probably right.” The way I would love nothing more than to stay in my house all day, just the two of us. But if we must leave and spend the day peopling, I’m glad it’s with family and friends.
Chesney laughs softly, the sound settling deep in my chest. “Come on. I’ll grab my keys.”
Having neighboring properties definitely has its perks, one of which being the three-minute drive. The second we step through the front door, we’re bombarded with chaos. I don’t think I’ve ever seen the Jennings house louder than it is today.
Wade pops around the corner, a pie of some sort in his hand. “’Bout time you two got here,” he drawls. “I’ve been running around the kitchen all morning, baking pies and cleaning.”
I chuckle to myself as I kick my shoes off. The visual of Wade baking anything is more amusing than it should be.
“They’re store-bought,” Truett mutters from somewhere in the kitchen.
Knew it.
Wade has become somewhat of a semi-permanent resident of not only Sweet Briar, but this house, much to Truett’s dismay.
After his help with the dude ranch, hiring him for the merger was a no-brainer.
The guy might be overly talkative and mildly obnoxious, but he’s a damn fine contractor who knows how to get shit done.
He wasn’t able to stay in one of the cabins this time since we’re booked solid for months, which is how he ended up here.
I still don’t know how Chesney got Truett to agree to it, but they’re renting him the spare room—for next to nothing—until construction is finished.
Truett got the shit end of the stick because most nights, Chesney stays at my place.
He loves Wade and he’s happy to have his friend in town, but living with him drives him a little crazy.
Watching Wade and Truett interact in any capacity is hilarious, though.
They bicker constantly. Truett can’t stand Wade’s bubbly personality and high-strung energy—I think his exact words were, “I’ve seen calves after weaning that were calmer than that fucker”—and Wade one hundred percent knows it and thoroughly enjoys getting under his skin.
It’s great. Especially since I don’t have to live with it.
Plus, I think it’s good for Truett. For as long as I’ve known him, he’s always been this stoic, grumpy, overworked rancher.
But the older he gets, the more reclusive he becomes.
Having someone around who isn’t just his brother is what he needs.
If you asked him, though, Truett would vehemently disagree.
The smell of turkey fills the house, football booms from the TV in the living room, and the sound of Magnolia’s laugh drifts down the hall.
She recently went through a pretty tough breakup with a woman she’d been dating for the last several years.
Between that, and her mom moving to Florida last month, we didn’t want her to be alone on Thanksgiving.
And I’m glad we did.
This is Chesney and Truett’s first Thanksgiving without their dad. I think having people around helps. Our parents might not be here anymore, but that doesn’t mean we can’t make our own little family.
Magnolia walks out of the kitchen carrying a bowl of mashed potatoes. Her face lights up when she sees us. “There you two are!” Setting the bowl down at the table, she wipes her hands on her apron and pulls me in for a hug before doing the same to Chesney. “Your brother is irritated with me.”
Chesney snorts. “Not surprised. What happened?”
“I added cream cheese and sharp white cheddar to the potatoes.” She chuckles. “Apparently, that’s blasphemy.”
Truett heaves a sigh in the kitchen. “There ain’t nothing wrong with keeping things simple,” he mutters. “Why fix something that ain’t broken?”
Over the last year, I’ve come to learn that Truett is rather…stuck in his ways. He doesn’t always handle change well. The merger has become quite a headache for him—and us—because of it. Chesney says he gets it from their dad. I believe it.
Magnolia smiles sweetly. “Oh, honey. You’ll be singing a much different tune when you taste those potatoes.”
Chesney and I spend the next hour or so taking over in the kitchen so Truett can have a beer and relax in front of the game for a while. Right as we’re about to eat, a knock sounds at the door before it swings open. We all turn and watch a tall, broad-shouldered man walk in.
