Three weeks later…

Haynesville Correctional Facility for Women

“Why are we here again?” I ask Chandra in a rough voice, and she rolls her eyes. She spoke to one of her family friends, who is a judge, and ask to be allow to visit Misty in prison.

“Why are you here?” she mumbles, and I smiled with the sick satisfaction of seeing her like this. Chandra really gave her a beating.

“To talk,” Chandra replies, taking the seat across from her. After the beating, we tied her up and dropped her in front of the police station with a note.

“Well...,” she says, and I growl. I don’t like the attitude that’s coming from her. She thinks this isn’t her fault, when indeed it is.

“I wanted to come tell you that when you get out of here, you will be taken under the club’s wings,” Chandra explains, and Misty laughs, or tries to. Chandra had broken both sides of her jaw, so she’s still wearing a mouthpiece.

“You think I’m going to do that?” she angrily spits out, and I take a step forward, planting my hands on the table. Looking into her eyes, I smirk. This is fucking fun seeing her squirm.

“I’d take what she has to offer.” I tell her, and she looks over at Chandra.

“You go through therapy and talk about what you went through and you help identify everyone who has anything to do with the trafficking ring,” Chandra explains to her and I smile.

She has definitely become the Ol’Lady I expected her to be.

Protective, loyal, and caring. She cares about this woman even after what that woman did.

Giving her a second chance, I wouldn’t have.

“Take it or leave it,” I tell her, and she nods her agreement. I nod at the prison guard, letting him know we’re done. We are led out , and I turn to my woman, wrapping my arms around her. She looks up at me, smiling, I smile back at her. I love this crazy woman and I wouldn’t change a thing.
