Chapter 16
I will fuck your worries away.
Filbur
The desperation on my brother’s face told me enough about the day ahead; I was not going to enjoy it.
“I am sorry brother,” he said, a wince pulling at his face.
He kept looking at the floor, avoiding my eyes.
“The tiny man is being extremely insistent and the old one keeps talking about contracts being breached, I…” He let out a charged sigh.
“You need to bring her. They are waiting in the palace.”
This was a nightmare. I would wake up in my net, Tamara’s naked body draped over me.
This could not be happening.
My hands turned to fists and the sharp edge of my thumb dug into the side of my forefinger. Fuck that hurts.
But it did not hurt as much as being forced by the Humans to give up my bride, without being given any explanation.
“Filbur,” my brother continued, placating. “I am not saying that we will fulfill their request to get her back.”
“Then why are we forced to go anyway?” I gritted out, casting a glance over my shoulder only to see Tamara slowly walking down the stairs, yawning.
“Because we are not savages. So you will bring her to the palace. As her partner, you will be allowed to stay with her while they explain the reason they believe they have the right to get her back.”
Was it her…ex-partner? The one who abused her? The one who broke her? Would I be able to cut off his stupid head?
“I do not—”
“I would like to settle this case as soon as possible,” he interrupted me. “So take this as an order. You and Tamara are to report to the palace in one hour, otherwise I will have to come here with them.”
I gritted my teeth. “Fine.”
Over my dead body I would let them set foot in my home. In Tamara’s home.
“What is going on?” Tammy’s soft, still half asleep voice asked behind me.
I turned just enough to slide my arm around her frame, pulling her close to me.
My brother smiled. “Nothing of importance,” he said. “We are expecting you in one hour, and we will settle this issue. Do not worry about a thing.”
Well, I was worried out of my damn mind. But the look my brother gave her was filled with kindness. It did not matter what was going to happen, he was going to fight for us. For Tamara to stay here, with me. With us.
She was Canco now. Her skin color and texture did not matter. The fact that she had hair either. Tammy was one of us. She was family.
I held her tighter as my brother left, walking back to his palace with tense shoulders.
“Fil’?” she asked, trying to wiggle her body away to catch my gaze.
No way was I letting her step away, so I turned my face to look at her.
“What’s going on?” she repeated.
“Someone is here for you. A tiny man. He says you’re already married to him and—”
“What?” Her voice broke and my heart followed. “I-I’m not! I didn’t marry anyone!”
Her skin turned pale. No trace of a single lie. “I know kadhasse. I know.” I pushed her braids over her shoulders. “We will go, and deal with this, yes?”
Her pulse was so erratic that I could see it in her neck. “I-I…”
“It will be okay,” I reassured her. “We can see lies, remember? He will not take you away.”
“But what if—”
“Nothing,” I said, ensuring she could see every emotion swirling in my eyes. “There is nothing anyone can do to successfully take you away from me.”
I shut the door close and crashed my lips against her in a searing kiss. My words would never be enough to convey how deeply I cared. How insanely I had fallen. I only hoped she could feel it. With every touch, every kiss, every shared orgasm.
“Filbur, shouldn’t we—”
I kissed her harder, sealing the words in her mouth. Her back bumped in the little console by the door and I spun her around, sliding a hand in her hair to keep her head up.
She whimpered when my lips found the side of her throat, my free hand lifting her lounging dress up until the soft skin of her ass was visible.
“I will not let anyone take you away,” I whispered in her ear. Goosebumps spread all along her arm and back. “You belong here. Where we love you. Where I”—I slid one finger between her legs, finding her drenched—“can make you happy. Where I can take care of you.”
“Fuck,” she cursed, one of her legs already starting to shake. “Filbur, I’m scared.”
Our eyes met in the mirror, a few inches away from her face. “I will fuck your worries away. You will be perfectly relaxed when we face him, yes?”
I pulled my lounging pants down and let my cock fall between our bodies. Her breath hitched when the tip pressed against her entrance.
“We do not have much time Kadhasse,” I crooned against her ear. “And we are not leaving our home until you have soaked the floor.”
“But—” She gasped, the words dying in her throat as I thrust inside her, pushing inch after inch. “Oh god…”
Her eyes fluttered and my grip on her hair tightened. “Eyes on me. Focus, my Tammy. If we are taking too long, they will knock on our door and hear us from the outside.” She cried out when I finally bottomed out, her fingers clasping the edge of the console for support.
It was hard to miss the blush creeping up her cheeks as she brought one hand between her legs.
“Good girl.”
The praise sent another moan to her lips and I increased my pace. One hand on her hip and the other still in her hair, I pulled her closer, arching her back against my front.
“Oh my god, Filbur. Please, don’t stop, don’t stop, please—”
Water splashed on the ground, dripping down her trembling legs. I stilled deep inside of her when the first soft spike emptied itself inside her tight channel. She kept clenching around me and I groaned, feeling her muscles milk each spike, one after the other, until my cock started to soften.
“Fuck, Kadhasse.”
“I think I’ve gone blind,” she said, but it was quickly followed by a chuckle.
I pulled out and spun her around again, making her face me. My hand found its place against her cheek and she smiled. “Let’s get dressed,” I said. “And then we will send the tiny man back where he came from.”
